nextstep:This is a reasonable argument, and I will engage in a civil discussion with you. There are two ways to get into elite schools like Oxford, Cambridge, Havard, MIT etc. The first is if you/family are wealthy and the second is gifted meaning you are funded by scholarship. Mind you these schools are not charity organizations and they don't dish out scholarships to everyone, the fees are expensive. According to a study carried out April 2021 only 140 students this year and the last 5 years received scholarship. The wealthy use their influence to insert their kids into these schools and can afford the expensive fee associated with schooling there. Why is it that most rich people's kids go to elite schools when I know some are not intelligent or gifted? https://www.theguardian.com/education/2017/oct/19/oxbridge-becoming-less-diverse-as-richest-gain-80-of-offers This is a study done in 2017 that shows that oxford has been giving admission to the kids of the wealthy for a long time. That is not to say the standard of the school has depreciated, I am just saying oxford is known to give admission to the kids of the rich. |
Who cares? The attention your parents don't give you is what this clown comes to collect/ attract on social media. You got into Oxford because your father is rich, not because you are intelligent. Clown. |
What do you expect when your traditional leaders have been sold. Your Governor is a pawn and you will still vote for the same corrupt politicians oppressing you come election because of ¼ bag of rice. |
If you get scammed by these thieves you sure deserve it. I don't have pity for any of you, greed and instant gratification has led to you clowns losing your money to less educated scammers. I made lots of money through hard work, you think I will lose hard earned dollars to uneducated buffoons, lol, think again. |
Confused buffoons, best decision I made in 2015 was to leave an OK job that was paying me 250k monthly as an IT supervisor for a multinational company to travel to the US. I can't imagine how life would be had I not taken that leap of faith/risk. How would I be able to give my lovely mother $1000 every month, drive a brand new car fully paid, take care of my siblings, own businesses, be a blessing to others, have my personal house and another for airbnb/lease, live life to the fullest. God I thank you for wisdom, even me had doubt when I made this tough decision yet you showed me undefined favor. |
I don't subscribe to violence in a battle of words but when you are pretending that your house is not on fire when we see the thick dark smoke engulfing the structure I can understand temper been flared. |
I will never understand how people fall prey to these no good filthy scavengers, I am not sending money to anybody and I get money plenty. If we don't exchange the goods and services one on one I no do. Stop sending your hard earn money to people you don't have access to. |
My people no let anyone oppress una oh, house for America easy to buy if you get good credit and small money like $15k to deposits. As this house be so he did not buy it cash ooo, he is financing the house by paying about $2.5k monthly depending on where the property is located. Kudos to him anyways |
When can this una country get it right? I hope una see why VAT pursing governors dey vex. Money is just going down the drain of people pocket at any opportunity by una politicians. The sad part is WE GO STILL VOTE THEM IN AGAIN |
Don't do it, gave someone $5000 for almost 4 years now not a cent. Although it's nothing compared to what I earn monthly, it's just the principle and the betrayal that hurts. |
No time to waste, Lagos state practically provides for the whole country and can't boast of the being the capital of Nigeria when they are the life hub of the country. Our mumu don do, we cannot continue to suffer in penury while leeches feast. |
What is the military man doing? You ask. Na we they claim say na only civilian soldier they get power It's not suppose to be the job of a soldier to address or settle criminal matters like this but clearly the executive branch chose to be ignorant of were ones power ends and the other branches begins. |
NwaNimo1:That is very funny, good one. |
Teach a man how to fish and you have fed him for the rest of his life. Instead of disbursing cash to people why not invest in training youths in modern Agricultural procedures, create farming cooperatives equip with modern farming machineries, establishing farms for them using available government lands in a lease agreement, appoint supervisors to mentor and monitor progress and a portion of the profits from the yield should be reinvested in another batch of youths. |
ikllbrokehoes: FutureIsFemale:To each his own, if she respects and appreciates people she loves by kneeling before them, then its necessary. If her action gives you headache there is concrete everywhere for you to slam your heads on to improve the headache. |
Watch oooo, they want to start stealing money ooo, the next thing you will hear is they want to upgrade the airports to meet international standard aka thief thief ![]() |
After studying for 5 years in school, considering the economic situation and ASUU constant strike, they will have to do an extra year just to be called "Engineer", there is no guarantee a job will be waiting for them. Who swear for this una country? The level of stupidity of your leaders is baffling. |
I guess BBN is the cause of the economic and security problem in the country. How stupid can you be to ignore the tree in your eyes and focus on the splinter in another man's pinky finger? And you are suprise why the country is a mess... Shame |
This has to be a joke from Lai lie Mohammed |
Why would you be flaunting the laws of the country you are in, with a LTC here in the US you can be with your firearm legally. Oh well, you go spend better money to comot from this mess, if you dey fear for your life why go to the country in the first place and secondly you could have rented policemen to protect you while you were there for the occasion. Dumb dumb dumb. |
What a country, all noise no substance. Your education in the south is a waste of your time. Your leaders have failed you all, and the beauty about it all is that you will still vote for them. No one of the so called leaders or traditional ruler is saying anything about the killings and destruction of properties by these herdsmen, tomorrow they will come out and start sharing rice for you hungry people and you will vote for them. You all deserve your leaders. The forest kept decreasing yet the trees continue to vote for the axe, they thought it was one of them because the handle was made of wood. |
It's amazing how some people are angry at the display of wealth and power exhibited during the burial ceremony, I would be too if I were you but unfortunately I am not. Eat and enjoy your wealth while you are alive. You are not taking your money and affluence anywhere after death. Take good care of your immediate family, parents, siblings and loved ones that's all you owe yourself and the world. |
It is not useless, I studied applied physics (Geophysics option). |

mancoconut:Well said. |
RichDad1:You just confirmed my suspicion, Ignoramus. "They can NEVER" are you just spewing rubbish or you are not well educated enough to understand that irrespective of diplomatic ties the sovereign of a country will not be compromised just because of "diplomatic ties". |
RichDad1:You are sadly the ignorant one, what does the UK have to gain from Nigeria? They can deny anyone from coming into their country directly or indirectly, if the UK love your country so much why have they not intervened in the boko haram crisis, why did they condemn the FG on the Twitter issue, do you think sending the ambassador out of Nigeria will make the UK have sleepless night. You as a Nigerian might be thinking too highly of yourself unfortunately. |
My suspicion is that the UK denied him entrance, one thing you must realize is that most countries has their eyes on Nigeria and things happening within (especially because of the twitter issue). Do you think the UK wants to deal with protesters against one African leader on their soil, when they have more important things to deal with. The only option bubu have is to import his personal doctor to treat him in naija or he can go to Turkey.

Unigrad:Welcome to one of the most corrupt country in the world. |
And the relevance of showing yourself having a regular seafood meal that cost less than $60 is? |
