Yet all PDP agents and apologists went about slaughtering HRH Sanusi when he made his "WILD" allegations against the criminal regime of the HERO. HERO even went ahead to sack him and institute one egbejugbele audit that only danced in the forest without nothing to show for it.

Really?? What do you ve to say abt APC Gov El-Rufai kneeling for the elders before his election... This is not party matter, Most politicians can even swim with the sharks sef.
El Rufai did not kneel down begging anyone for any offence. You cannot equate that with this. Although this happens across party lines, it's worse in Delta. The PDP politics in Delta state is very dirty and ran by very dirty and occultic men. You cannot really imagine the power that Odebala bowed to in that place. It's been like that since 1999. If he can kneel down to Igbuya that way it then means he will be washing plates in Chief Amori's house every morning. He is the de facto god of Delta PDP. I believe the Biafrans, the country is a ZOO.

My friend, while Kachikwu MIGHT be an Igbo man, he is from Delta state, South South Nigeria. The South East still has 0 appointment so far in Buhari's administration.

Note the emphasis on 'might' above because not long ago, Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh who hails from the same area as Dr. Kachikwu came on air to tell the whole world that he's not Igbo.

So, this case is like counting Bukola Saraki's position as going to the South West.

Let's be clear about it. Political appointments are looked at from a geopolitical zone perspective and Buhari is yet to appoint anybody from the South East.
Are you guys having identity confusion? Are you guys not annexing Delta state as part of Biafra anymore?
PoliticsRe: Ejiafe Odebala, Delta Politician Kneeling And Begging (Pictured) by philips70(m): 7:12pm On Aug 04, 2015
This has been a common occurrence in Delta state politics since 1999. Nothing new. Same way some were snapped naked, carrying earthenware pot in Ogun state and swearing allegiance to Otunba Gbenga Daniel some years back in Ogun state. Shame to politics of godfathers and godmothers in Nigeria.

Guy, have you worked in the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil industry before? If you have, you would not advocate such a view point. Have you forgotten Diezani's ineptitude?
I am writing this atop an FPSO, All Nigeria needs are sincere people with will at the top and every other subordinates will begin to perform their roles effectively. The man in question must have come with high recommendations and he's not a green horn in the industry from the resume am seeing. May you also be informed not all highly experienced people who run the upstream industry are engineers. Diezani's issues are not that of ineptitude but more of corruption and wastes.

My brother your head dey there. You know to the uninitiated, once you are in oil industry automatically you can occupy any position. This like deja vu. Exactly the sentiments some of us expressed when the immediate past minister was appointed on account of being a director of external affairs at Shell. An architect by training who never even got involved in managing any oil and gas delivery or related project or facility. Now Baba has brought a lawyer, whose broad based understanding of the industry is at best limited. What is wrong with these people really?

Is like appointing a lawyer, who had a long career working in health institution as Chief Medical Director of a hospital. No doubt he is a technocrat, but is he fit for the job....i seriously doubt. Too bad really. And what is even profoundly painful to me is the general direction of the narrative in terms of where he is from as as opposed to analysing what skill sets he possesses vis a vis the job he is being given. I'm really sad for this generation.
If you believed that woman performed poorly, do you think she did so because she is not well versed in the affairs of the sector and highly inexperienced or it's because she succumbed to personal interests and political pressures?

What NNPC needs at this time is a seasoned petroleum engineer with commercial aptitude, that can think outside the box. wink

All other contemporaries of NNPC like PedeVesa of Venezuela, PetroBrass of Brazil, Q8 of Kuwait, Statoil of Norway, Saudi Aramco, Sinopec of China, etc, have all added value to their countries, by actively buying out oil-related assets around the globe to increase the foreign exchange earning capability of their companies/countries, increasing local refining capacity on their home turf while remaining good examples of well-run commercial enterprises.

Such an engineer should drive the establishment of modular refineries to increase refining capacity at home, while pushing for the successful rehabilitation of existing ones using local expertise, as was done recently. Such an engineer should also place premium on the exploitation and commercialisation of our gas reserves in country, to drive the Gas-To-Power Programme and other such programmes.

Would a corporate lawyer be able to balance all these? I strongly doubt if Kachikwu has expertise in this area. undecided
A corporate lawyer with bias for oil and gas law, who have been a major player in top management level in the upstream sector and also with good character will do it perfectly well. If this news is true, Buhari is the man and will continue to shame naysayers.

Institutional Revolutionary Party ruled Mexico for about 70 years. In 2002 or so, Mexicans voted out the party for a coalition of opposition parties. The coalition barely finished its four years and Mexicans voted it out and returned Institutional Revolutionary Party.

PMB through his actions so far has made APC a far north (CPC-ANPP) party. But PDP continues to remain a party with presence all over Nigeria. By 2019, unless any southern group plays mumu again, Buhari or another APC candidate can't win.
My brother leave these rhetorics of Mexican drug lord parties here, PDP will never rule Nigeria again.

As it is PDP is like APGA, a minority party of the SS and SE with some northern and western elements to give it a national coloration.

On top of that they are seen and carries the toga of the most corrupt party in the whole world. On what credentials are they coming back to power when the only reason they sustained their 16yrs rule is through high manipulation of the voting system which is gradually fading away?

Buhari's lack of education that you people want to bury and wish others should ignore is responsible for his many idiotic statements like the 97% voters against 5% voters and actions such as the removal of military checkpoints across the country. Those decisions were not based on any deep thought process or scientific or intelligent analysis but on hunches.

No matter the supposed 'level of education' in Nigeria, not many B.Sc., M.Sc. or PhD holders would say such in public - not many. Being educated means one would base his judgment more on rationality and evidence and less on emotions and unverified claims.

It's all about brain not brawl. We are not in ancient Sokoto Caliphate where leaders were chosen based on their battle experience. We are in a different time now, leadership qualities include an ability to think on one's feet. Buhari has continued to demonstrate his intellectual challenges at every point.

It's even compounded by his age and years of idleness based on lack of any motivation for self improvement. It's not going to get better, no one can give what he doesn't have.

Gowon went back to school to start a degree program after he was overthrown, he went on to have a PhD. Others have written books or founded institutions of learning. Buhari has exhibited an apparent lack of interest in scholarship and learning, for 30 years, there's not a single project he executed to show he has anything upstairs or that he wanted to remedy his challenges, no brain tasking activity since he left office. You his supporters would wish this was not so, but you are being scandalized by his faux pas every time.

In the 2015 world, intelligent voters around the world would have weeded this kind or character out of the presidential race at the party primary level, but not Nigerians. The penchant for magical solutions to problems was the underlying factor responsible for this embarrassing situation which is now becoming counterproductive considering the amount of blunders being committed daily.
What was responsible for "ordinary stealing is not corruption; if billions of dollars are missing, America will know; goat and yam theories; how much did Nwobodo stole that he was jailed for ?? Years?" and many other goofs too numerous to mention that came from a supposedly PhD holder? Pray, tell me.

Omenka, Don't insult El-Rufai, El-Rufai is light years ahead of Buhari.

While Buhari can be said to be morally upright, he has no clue on other aspects of governance especially the economy which is a fall out of his little education, El-Rufai is well rounded in all departments.

Please, don't ever compare Rl-Rufai to Pa Buhari or else.....
When you people keep using this education ish to haunt and insult this man and relate it to economy I keep wondering. Is this really a concern to you or it's hate? Pray, tell me, which education did OBJ, IBB, Abacha, Gowon, Murtala had when they ruled Nigeria and how much did the economy suffer on account of its inexistence?

Now what is education? Is it only when one attends the four walls of a university that makes him educated? Do you know the kind and quality of military training that takes one to the rank of a Colonel? Is it this Bsc, Msc and PhD that's on sale at every junction in Nigeria you refer to being educated? Many doctorate degree holders in Nigeria cannot hold a debate with secondary school leavers elsewhere even around this Africa. We had one example not too long ago in....

Not even Jesus Christ will do such. Let no man deceive you, Amaechi will surely get an appointment from Buhari's government and that has no dent on his anti corruption war.
