Buhari is the wisest of you all. He knows very well Nigerians, both believers and non-believers in him have the highest expectations from his government. Expectations so high that some are even beyond the ambits of Messiahs. He has his plans, he has his convictions and his visions. What that man is just doing is to lower the very high expectations so that people can start appreciating his actions when he hits the ground. One thing that is for sure is the GMB government will a 100% surpass what this past government has done. Government business will be conducted in a very transparent manner and the various drain pipes will be plugged. He cannot afford to go the GEJ way of welcoming all forms of looting as long as he remains in power and his share is secured. For sure Nigerians will witness a decent government maybe for the first time. These are my expectations and will be reappraised in 100 days time. If this train that's expected to be heading south starts facing north like it was from the beginning of GEJ's administration we will know from the beginning we are having another 4 wasted years. I am passionate about seeing Nigeria working. I don't care about PDP or APC. Anybody who have moved around the world will always shed a tear immediately he/she touches down in MMA. Why is our country this way with all the enormous resources God deposited in our land? A Tsunami that comes once in a while would have been better as a natural disaster instead of these kind of leaders we have. In which serious minded country will a judge hand a N3M fine to a citizen who robbed them blind of billions of Naira and hand 300yrs jail term to another who never stole a percent of that sum? I see a glimmer of hope only because of the integrity of the person some Nairalanders have preferred to call BABAONECHANCE. I only hope the will of the ever greedy politicians around him will not surpass that of those who are ready to go with him in changing our great country. God help us. On Chibok girls, if they are alive I believe he will find them but if not 1000 Helen Paul's rants will not change anything. CAVEAT: Quote me for the wrong reasons and watch the early morning wrath of Amadioha, Ogun, Ifa, Sango, Egbejugbele, Egbesu descend on you this minute. |
Truckpusher:I don't take you too seriously and you know it. I feel your pain. I personally know you dragged barcanista on this road to perdition. |
Truckpusher:You actually take this Voltron job very serious and personal. You better loosen up, this is Nairaland and not PDP or APC office. |
Truckpusher:Personal vendetta? Maybe not me. |
Truckpusher:To your disappointment I like barcanista a lot till this very moment even as I don't know him in person despite my views about his actions. I won't say further than this. |
I know the mods will bring about 10 useless posts to frontpage to compensate for that rugged resurrected post. Kontinuu! |
Someone should help this man with the duct tape used in sealing Mama Peace mouth since the elections na. Am tired of reading the missives from Lai Mohammed abeg because he doesn't look and pass. |
Truckpusher:This inalienable right stops where the rights of others to pass judgement begins. Just like your choice of becoming an armed robber do not impinge on the right of the society to judge and jail you according to the laws of the land. We are only exercising the laws of nature. There are lots of lessons to learn from barca's story in Nairaland. Space will not permit me to enumerate them here but trust me many people are learning from it. By the way I salute your civility in this comment. Keep it up. |
But why are souls this wicked? I will like to reincarnate as a bird so I wouldn't be experiencing these kinds of human induced trauma. How can anyone without the fear of God resurrect this kind of thread in the front page? Now you have given barcanista a government job of editing his comments and having him ponder on how to edit those already in others quotes. Chaiii!!! If I hold a quarter of those views in the original post and subsequent comments I will have to die and resurrect 10 times before I will be able to change them. Treachery of the highest order. I said it earlier barca and ffk could be first cousins. |
Armed robbers as politicians, armed robbers as journalists. The time is up! |
hardbody:Cummulatively this traffic can still lead to the death of this site. Ask AIT, nobody had viewership/traffic like them. There is always a point of balance in every business. |
QuotaSystem:Nigerian press is the worst worldwide. I listened to the speech and never saw where this man showed fear nor anxiety rather he was admonishing them to support him in his quest to take Nigeria out from it's current dismal position. Still TANkids have found another headline they will feed on. I urge Seun to sack all his mods and do this job himself even if it will make only 3 front page posts per day. |
hbpeze:Those 4 Nigerians executed in Indonesia were outside the country. Even those killed by xenophobic South Africans, outside the country as well. Ko kan ye. |
temitemi1:Thanks |
BlackTechnology:Just read same day Mama peace and GEJ are appearing on the dock. |
Getafe FC has just been awarded a medal for being magnanimous and accepting defeat in the 6-0 thrashing by Barcelona yesterday. They are currently being seen as heroes of Spanish football. Yeye criminals. |
frankyychiji:Can you form a party of saints or import one from the US if you can find one so Buhari contest with? Key thing that is unassailable here is Buhari is not corrupt like your failed current president that is the father of modern day corruption. The whole world knows the biggest reason Jonathan was voted out is his love for corruption and the biggest reason Buhari was voted in is his stand against corruption. All this distraction of media clamp down allegations is unnecessary. Finally, you can come collect a bag of handkerchief you will use on the 29th of May. |
frankyychiji:Apples and oranges. The Nigerian law have no place for independent candidacy. The man Buhari has not changed since 2003. Can you show me anywhere he has said saints are in APC while only demons are in PDP? |
otunsman:Why not allow this ignorance remain in your thoughts only? |
barcanista:Mr Barcanista do yourself a favour and hands off these matters. You have absolutely no moral ground at this moment especially as your earlier take on AIT and this issue is still here for all to see. Having said that, let me remind you GMB and Osinbajo have no plans to muscle the press in any way. In fact they recognize the press, be it mainstream, social media or all unconventional means, played a very large role in their emergence as president and vice president elects. They have vowed to strengthen the fourth estate of the realm for better information dissemination and inclusive governance. No amount of blackmail from you and your bitter cohorts will stop this divine mandate majority of Nigerians gave these two men to rescue Nigeria from the cesspit your new principal drove this country into. I advised you in your early days of defecting into this cesspool you should de-register this moniker and get a new one to do this ignoble and unpatriotic job. It doesn't tell well of your person haven previously taken this current government and the driver to the cleaners in every department and turn around to speak direct opposite of all you said in this same forum. Were you previously hired and refused payment or how do you explain your swift change of position in all you previously believed as to the person and performance of the current president vis-a-vis your former rating of the incoming president? There is a limit to treachery and what you are currently doing is pure and raw treachery. |
PrinceMario:Please restrict the curse upon him only. Innocent family members who do not know anything about the madness on Nairaland must not die from their stupidity. |
Yet they call him BabaOneChance and Certificateless. Now we will know the difference between the PhD holder and the experienced retired Major General who has seen it all. |
IzonOwei:I do not support separation but true federalism. If we separate the war among the various tribes in the Niger Delta will be too difficult to contain. Trust me when that time comes the hidden animosity among the tribes will come out in the open. Or do you totally trust the romance across the east and the south now? The implosion will be of massive scale. First, we need good governance and gradually true and real federalism. You will be shocked all these monies reporting missing was guided into the pockets of non Niger Deltans with the approval of our SON and DAUGHTER with their share stashed far away. Nothing whatsoever was done by GEJ for the ND, yet lots of buffoons wants to kill everyone for them. We as Niger Deltans are supposed to lock both of them up after May 29th. |
dokyOloye:I know Ms Briggs more than you do and I can authoritatively tell you she is not indispensable. If she dares the Nigerian state she will be treated like a common criminal. But if she does with normal advocacy like she's been doing she will be treated with respect. I only just wish she don't join touts in her struggles. |
SirShymexx:I think the Chinese model is needed at this moment if Nigeria must join the developed world in 20 to 50 years time. OBJ kick started it which should have been sustained and improved upon but GEJ came and destroyed all, opening our till for all manner of pilfering. As per the permit I think it has to do more with the population and the need to control mass movements to big cities. |
SirShymexx:Nigeria must adopt the China model if we must come out of this massive sleaze in government. I just wish GMB and his crew can damn anything and summon the political will to do this. We cannot continue like this. Little wonder they spent trillions in trying to win the elections. PDP will NEVER rule Nigeria again. |
dutchjongen:When they named him clueless people thought it's an insult. This man's PhD should be withdrawn, he is too dull. |
Ms Ankio Briggs will soon find herself in jail. She must not associate with every riffraffs that knows not what they seek. |
mikolo80:Both persons are fronts but while Aluko is an international hunk who was alleged to have relationship with her including oil deals and duped her, Omokore is the responsible matured one around who is currently the main man that runs the oil shows. If GMB can get his hands on these two folks there will be no hiding place for her. |
