Pornography and nudity as perpetrated by nolllywood, holllywood and the music industry may be responsible for the increase in rape in nigeria today. Poeople like Maheeda encourage the sexual objectification of women and give men the idea that women like sex even with strangers and at anywhere and at any time. Also the pornographic images on the phone, tv, internet e.t.c has a phychological effect on most males. A boy who has been watching nudity on the phone for hours may rape any girl that comes to his house. We must look into these issues to stop rape in Nigeria before we descend into sodom and gommorrah. It is now so bad that most of my female friends ask me if i will not rape them before visiting me which is horrible Constant exposure to pornography has a powerful efffect on the mind and phyche and it is affecting the phyche of our youts. There is a powerful link between art, culture and phychology and we Nigerians must understand this. Besides the western media is trying to brainwash our youths and turn them into sexual pervarts and finally destroy the marriage institution |

I agree with this lady. I am also campaining against rape even though i am a man. I feel our generation is heading towards Sodom and Gomorah.s I think part of this problem is that nowadays most guys beleive that once a lady visits them, it is for sex which is a horrible idea. Most guys also beleive in the ideology that they must express their sexuality without any moral or religious consideration which is another horrible idea. The theory of incarnation has been subject to different interpretations and explanations throughout human history but then, I personally believe it is based on some basic laws of the Universe. There is this universal principle called the Universe is in a bottle. That is, when you take the powers of the Universe and put it in a container so that the power of the Universe can be harnessed and crystallized. Now, there are different kinds of powers floating in the Universe, from spiritual powers to scientific powers. An example of this is the phone. Basically a mobile phone harnesses the electro-magnetic radiations in the air and the principle of electricity and stores it in a phone. Thus, the scientific powers of the Universe are put in a container or plastic bottle that we call a phone, this is also the technology behind charms and amulets as the mystic or spiritual powers of the Universe are stored in a ring and then channeled for different purposes. Now, since the powers of the Universe can be put in a container, it can be argued that God Almighty put himself inside human flesh and thus the highest power in the Universe put himself in a bottle. Thus, I believe that God Almighty used a law that pervades the Universe and all creation. This can also be spoken of as a principle of reductionism where higher form is reduced to a lower form. The mathematics of set theory can be used to explain this phenomenom called the Universe is in a bottle or reductionism. Basically, the principle states that the higher forms of things within the Universe can be reduced to it’s lower forms and represented in a smaller way. You see, the highest powers of the Universe are basically abstract to us lower human beings and they have to be reduced to a lower form by putting it in a bottle or container. Without this happening, the higher forms or powers of things in the Universe will not be easy to relate with, channel or benefit from by the human race in general. This is why I think God became a man so that he could reduce himself to a lower form of a man so as to be able to relate with us and so we can receive his goodness and power. Now, before a higher power of the universe can be put in a bottle, such a bottle has to be prepared so as to be able to receive the higher powers in the Universe. So basically, the body Jesus will enter into was prepared in Virgin Mary’s womb before God Almighty himself reduced himself to it. Of course, the higher powers have to reduce themselves so as to be simulated into a container or bottle and similarly, God had to reduce himself so as to be fused inside the human body. I believe that for any power in the Universe to be infused inside a body, three things take place a. Contraction: Where the sets in the higher Universe are reduced to a smaller one b. Infusion: Where the reduced set or power is induced inside the bottle or container as in the case of Jesus Christ (the human body). Now, this can be found in the scripture which says (I do not remember exactly where) “Lo I come in the body that thou hast prepared for me as written in the book”. Now, this is my personal opinion and so should be taken with a pinch of salt but this is the process I think through which God became a man. Be being too religious, we allways resort to prayer to solve our problems instead of thingking and deduction. instead of us to think of an innovative way to solve problems we will go to church and be praying all day. For example, out scientitshould have invented or done something about the lack of power in the country instead of waiting for God's time 2. I beleive Africans have to come up with a serious study of the sociology and physchology of religion as it affects our life, thinking and environment for here in Nigeria, religion drives everything we do 3. A lot of phychological issues actually need counselling and not just prayer alone. Take for instance the issue of rape or divorce in modern society. I was in church once and the pastor was asking why anyone taught there is an increase in divorce in Nigeria and nobody gave a rational answer. Nobody could link it with pronography 4. We cannot give an intellectual explanation for our religious belief. Our faith in our religion even though good lacks any intellectual explanation. For example, the concept that Jesus died for the sins of the world has an intellectual basis and philosophical explanation but we Africans never seem to understand this. Grail message tries to do this but we Africans dont understand things like that 5. We generally are not thinkers or innovators or problem solvers. I think we Nigerians should embrace self education or what is called auto-didactism. We should focus on making research ourself and not depend on the rigid educational structure. A person that learns by himself can actually contribute more to knowledge and society than a professor For example, as a student, you can invent a solar generator and write a novel in a year. The innate inteligence and potential of a person is more important than credentials, "first class" or "formal education" The problem with us Nigerians is that we beleive too much in formal education and we stop reading when we leave school. I on my own actually discover a lot of things i was not really taught in school. We Nigerians need to have our own reinasance where we seek for knowledge on our own and improve our environment with it. Thomas Edison only had 3 months of formal education and yet he patented 1000 inventions including the light bulb. Formal Educational qualifications is not the end of the world. You can learn everywhere and you do not have to go to school to get knowledge |

THIS IS THE REST OF THE STORY IN FULL IF YOU CANT GO TO MY SITE Shut up there!!!, Kunle yelled as he gave her a dirty slap across the face. The slap was so powerful that she found herself sprawling over the mattress. Maureen’s heart shook with fear, apprehension. This was the start of one of Kunles temper tantrums and violent routines. Before she could even say anything, Kunle had removed his belt from his trousers and started beating her mercilessly with it. He whipped her hard with all his strength and she yelled out in pain with nobody to rescue her. Kunle was her lover but then he was very violent and aggressive. The beating had become a routine and by now, she was used to it. Not only was she used to it, she in fact enjoyed it. The irony was that she enjoyed being made love to just after she had been beaten and today was not different. Kunle actually apoloised to her and kissed her after beating her and she enjoyed every minute of it. “I’m sorry baby girl, but you cannot question my authority, you must learn to obey me and you need discipline so you don’t do things the wrong way he said”, while he held her in his hands. After that, Kunle made love to her and she enjoyed every minute of it. She stayed with him over the weekend until she at last went back to her apartment in school as she was a student of Unilag (University of Lagos). She attended lectures normally throughout the week until the next weekend when she decided to travel home for the weekend. She did not always like it at home anyway as her father always turned her mother into a punching bag. The weekend she got home was no exception. She and her two brothers tayo and Biodun were watching television in the sitting room when they suddenly heard their mothers voice in the Kitchen. She rushed to the kitchen to see what was happening and as usual, her father was at it again. This time around, her father was raining hot slaps on her mother and her mother was begging him for mercy. “You this stupid woman, how can you dare resist my authority like that!!!!!!!, her father said with a loud voice. Maureen just stood there and watched. By now, she was used to it and even considered it an essential part of life. After raining a few slaps and punches on her mother her mother as it is came to her right senses, knelt down and begged him for forgiveness. “I am sorry, my husband, I will always love and respect you”, she said with tears in her eyes. Everybody in the family took this situation as normal and nobody in the family questioned their father over his violence and authoritarianism. That very day, she received a text message from her boyfriend but it was not Kunle, rather, it was Mathew, the other guy she was dating. Like most Nigerian girls her age, she dated more than one guy. Mathew was a very nice guy who treated her with a lot of love and respect and he never laid a finger on her or maltreated her in anyway. He was a student like her and so together, they arranged a date two weeks after that in a restaurant near their school. She was the first to get to the restaurant and as she sat there, she wondered in her mind if she should not just end her relationship with Mathew. Mathew to her was not a real man. He never showed her leadership and always behaved too much like a mummy’s boy. Mathew arrived at the restaurant a few minutes late and as he sat in front of her, he said “I am sorry, baby girl, I did not mean to be so late, I hope you do not feel hurt in anyway”. “No, I am not”, dear she replied while starring at him. “look I am sorry, I mean, real sorry”, Mathew said as he knelt down on one knee. “No, get up you don’t have to go that far, Maureen replied while looking at him. “This is just to show you that I love you”, Mathew replied. As Mathew was professing his love for her different thoughts crossed her mind. “This guy is too weak and cannot even lead a woman. Allways apologizing for everything. I don’t even like the way he begs me every time, this his kneeling down even makes him look like a coward”, she thought to herself as he looked at him. She just tolerated him throughout the date he had but then by the time she got back to her hostel that very same day, she sent him a text message that she was not interested again. Mathew was of course devastated and wondered why. As usual, she spent the following weekend with kunle her authoritarian lover but then as usuall, they had an argument and Kunle this time around actually punched her on the face and she had a black eye but then she did not mind as she really enjoyed being ordered around and beaten by a man. When she got back to her hostel from Kunle’s face, her face was swollen and it was so obvious that Toyin, her roommate noticed. Toyin knew all about her relationship with Kunle and as she looked at her, she said “Look, you have to leave that your boyfriend or monster Kunle alone before he turns you into a punching bag or he finally kills you one day. You just cannot go on like this”. Toyin did not agree with her, instead, she defended her boyfriend and proclaimed her undying love to him. She even said she liked him because he was manly and always in control of a woman which was what she wanted in a man. At this point, Toyin decided to leave her alone as she seemed unreasonable but then she recommended her to a phychologist who could understand her problems better. Kunle was always nice to her in order ways anyway as he often brought gifts for her and her most romantic time with him was on this particular weekend when he brought her an expensive clothes. She was very happy and that day she spent the night with him as usual. It was a beautiful night together but then, his unpredictable temper came up again and he started beating her up again the following morning. It was a slight argument that caused the fight and kunle did all he could to injure her. He actually boxed her like a real boxer and then hit her on the head with a piece of iron and she passed out and had to be rushed to the hospital by nieghbours who were around. It was a critical injury and she was unconscious for a few days. By the time she woke up to full consciousness, she looked around and saw that she was on the hospital bed. The doctors greeted her heartily and explained everything that happened to her and made her know the fact that it was her neighbours that rushed her to the hospital. One thing that suprissed her was that as she turned to her left, she also saw her mother lying critically ill on the hospital bed. Her mother told her that her father had also beaten her to a comma and so it was mother and daughter on the hospital bed at the same time. THIS IS A STORY ABOUT A LADY THAT LOVES ABUSIVE MEN Shut up there!!!, Kunle yelled as he gave her a dirty slap across the face. The slap was so powerful that she found herself sprawling over the mattress. Maureen’s heart shook with fear, apprehension. This was the start of one of Kunles temper tantrums and violent routines. Before she could even say anything, Kunle had removed his belt from his trousers and started beating her mercilessly with it. He whipped her hard with all his strength and she yelled out in pain with nobody to rescue her. Kunle was her lover but then he was very violent and aggressive. The beating had become a routine and by now, she was used to it. Not only was she used to it, she in fact enjoyed it. There is no difference between aliens and demons. Aliens are from another planet and so are demons. There is space travel in the bible as whenever an angel/demon appears to someone, he time travels from outer space. When Jesus went up to heaven it can be called a space travel. When these scientists start seeing and relating with aliens they are seeing demons who want to rebel against God and ultimately the anti-christ and the devil.\ Scientsis are confused as science and religion are the same thing.
