What do you think is the right decision for him? Stay with Maresca and continue developing or move to another club where Dem go turn am to ABF midfielder. How I wish he had had the chance to work with his current coach earlier.

Well, Nigeria needs to have a coach like Maresca
He is decent, hardworking, young, tactically sound and ambitious.
There are coaches like this all over the place.
We will find if we look hard enough.
At least, such a coach will not be expensive and will want to make a name with an
African football giant.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and
Victor Eletu
Are the 2 midfielders going on loan this season
or they will remain in the youth teams of inter milan and ac milan
if so, will they be given first team opportunities
Anybody with any information on this issue
It is 2 days to the close of the transfer window

COACHING IS THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM WITH NIGERIAN FOOTBALL

Coaching is the basis of development in football and sports.
Coaching to football is like teaching in education.
A good coach will product 50 good players
A bad coach will produce 50 bad players
Nigerian football administrators dont take coaching seriously.
We don't do fundamental things the right way in this country
Our players are badly coached that is why as talented as they are
they end up in obscure leagues.
Recently Finidi Gorge was not allowed on the bench in a caf champions league match
because he does not have the minimum Grad B coaching licence.
IF WE DONT DO SOMETHING ABOUT OUR STANDARD OF COACHING OUR FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT WILL REMAIN
LIMITED.
The way a NIgerian football is what a 15 year old boy in chelsea academy knows a 22 year old Nigerian footballer
is not even aware of it.
Footballers in the country have their developmental weaknesses exposed abroad as a result of the absence of good coaching. The finest Nigerian players abroad nowadays hardly pass through the league system because there’s almost no development in that regard, greatly due to the NFF’s failures.

https://soccernet.ng/2022/04/nigerias-coaching-struggles-and-the-culpability-of-the-nff.html

In fact, i once read somewhere that the npfl players look like bush people (araoko) when they come
to the Super Eagles camp. They do not even know basic things like zonal marking or first touch for a striker
The average Nigerian footballer is like a chemistry student who does not know basic things like how to
balance a chemical equation, atomic number, isotope etc and is about to do his SSCE.
COACHING IS THE BASIS OF FOOTBALL

You are trying to turn white to black and red to blue, you are beyond redemption with your misinformation and disinformation.

This is humility in your definition, on arrival at Huesca Nwakali was shipped out on loan (too poor quality) . Yo add insult to injury, they couldn't wait to get rid of him tried to end his contract prematurely illegally. In addition he was the second to lowest paid player at Huesca.

He then goes to an even lower club than Huesca, which was Ponferradina a near bankrupt club. He is so good in the Segunda division nobody wanted him. But according to many here he was the best Midfielder in the Segunda division.

He now goes to an even poorer club for less wages in the name of Chavez FC .This is a club Enyimba will flog comprehensively.

And in your definition this is humility.

You can't change the facts to suit your FALSE narrative.

Nwakali has been poor quality and that's why he is surrounded by very poorly paid and low quality players like himself in Chavez FC

i am not an expert but
(1) Chaves came 7th last season. That is encouraging and not poor
(2) The Portuguese league is better than the spanish second division.
(3) Since 20016 they have been in the Portuguese first division

A team lie this in a respectable league cannot be described as poor.
i mean perfomance of a team is just not by one or two matches but over time .
The portugues league has produced ronaldo figo rui costa diogo jota
The league has even won the champions league and benfica recently defeated arsenal.
to come 7th in such a league demands respect

Your own take on this sub-forum na to dey disparage the opinion of others, not that your contributions are any more intelligent. If Ndidi, Onyeka and Aribo are injured (which is a high possibility given their injury records)

Which other midfield options do we have other than the ones I listed? You have the floor to name your perfect list.

To be honest with you even when they are available they are mediocre. Only Ndidi and iwobi is really above average.
onyeka and aribo cannot really win a midfield battle.
Anyway i suggest we should try fisayo dele bashiru in midfield (at least he is getting regular game time in turkey)
Also in the world cup qualifiers and friendlies we should try daniel daga as a dm.
he seems impressive.
Dont listen to people like him who cannot come up with solutions.
Raphael onyedica might be better than this aribo and onyea but people again will not listen.
as per aribo he is better off as a winger in a 4 4 2 formation or as a support strier.
The problem is that Aribo is not really a midfilder. More of a support striker or winger who can play in midfield some times.

The bolded is simply not true but a lie you tried to sell. As soon as Osimhen got the chance, he flourished.

The fact is that there is more competitions for Africans in creative midfield roles. That is why Mikel with all his talent never played a creative midfield role for Chelsea. He only played a a defensive midfielder.

Even Yaya Toure found it difficult to play a creative role for Barcelona despite being one of the best talents in the history of the game.

Iheanacho made his breakthrough as a creative attack midfielder and was converted to a hitman because of the same issue.

Iwobi broke out as a creative midfielder and found it difficult to cement himself in that role.

That is why it is difficult for Nwakali to just breakthrough and why we have little Nigerians in such roles.

Finally, Osimhen was always good it was just your blatant hate that made you tag him not good because he was not getting an opportunity.

Finito.

The bolded is true. There is discrimination against africans playing the creative midfield role.
Europeans believe Africans cannot play as creative midfielders and so dont encourage them.
This is a quote from a website
Ian Hawkey touches on the subject in his all encompassing book Feet of the Chameleon: The Story of African Football.

“More and more the notion that Africa’s football exists in service to Europe’s professional game dictates the type of athlete clubs, schools and academies promote. ‘Sooner or later when you speak to a coach in Europe, who might be interested in a young player,’ says one scout employed to survey African talent for a leading British club, ‘they ask you “so what’s his aerial elevation like?” They want big, tall, strong players first of all.’

“There is a prevalent stereotype among recruiters that the best sort of footballer to look for in Africa is the quick striker or the muscular defensive midfielder...Europe’s acquisitive eye shapes the very shape of an aspiring African footballer,” he says.

this is culled from a website

We have been missing Ejuke.
He understands the game more than all our wingers.

I said it and i repeat, Chidera Ejuke is more intelligent than any winger that has featured for the Super eagles in the past four years at least.

Samuel Chukwueze has been improving in leaps, especially in his understanding of the wing play dynamics.

To explain Ejuke's intelligence – in the game against Tunisia, Ejuke tried to use his speed, movement and dribbling to affect the defensive shape of the Tunisians, he was looking for an opening and tried to see if he could drag some players with him, but the Tunisians aside crowding their box, were also defending in zones.

Besides hd can play in 442 formation as a winger. I 100 percent agree with u.
I know a lot of people will find youg opinion strange but its true

Pls s there a way to solve my problem because my exams is drawing near and i have few weeks left

This is my suggestion

1. When you read jot down what you have read
2. You then read what you have jotted down
3. When you read, you revise that is you can read a topic 2 or 3 times. Repition aids memory

When we were Iamenting that Ndidi was limited, you all thought it was enough to just rake up stats on tackles and interceptions.

The present coach of leicester is a tiki taka guardiola disciple. It is better he stays ther and learn how to pass with technicality. The coach is playing him and he is improving.
Its actually a blessing in disguise.

Same here. I studied Philosophy too at OAU.

Today, I manage Medical facilities because of my managerial skills and experiences. Forget about job satisfaction when you are not lecturing or self employed. Philosophy as a discipline can only empowered you thinking faculty but in Nigeria, it doesn't have market value outside the citadel of learning. Best bet is to go for Managerial Psychology, MBA, Forensic and Criminology, Cinematography, Information Management courses at the Masters level if you want to make a difference in your choice of careers.

The funny thing is that we need philosophy badly in Nigeria but we are not aware
boko haram is a philosophical issue.
suicide (which is now common) has philosphical undertones. What is happiness? Why did God bring me into the world to suffer
Sexual liberality and the fall of marriage and the rise of single mothers.
Even big brother Africa is a philosophical movement
in a religious society such as ours we badly need philosophy.
e.g we believe in money rituals. is it superstition or what??
What is education? why do we go to school? what is God? what is African culture?
why are we backward? why do we have bad leaders?... and many more
philosophy answers and solves many problems.
but we are not aware of it

ABOUT PAUL ONUACHU

The coaches of Southampton are guardiola disciples.
Paul Onuachu is too limited for possession football.
he cant pass to save his life and so he is practically non-existent there.
Onuachu is too limited for most coaches and modern football
but can still suceed in a top 5 league with a coach who just understands his limitations
Anyway, he is on his way back to Genk where they understand him

To be honest some women enjoy sexualizing themselves. They are all over instagram, onlyfans night clubs etc
They enjoy the attention it generates and how it makes them feel beautiful.
They are not really logical people.
It is the conservative nature of our society that hides their funny nature.
As the Nigerian society is getting more liberal the funny nature of women is becoming obvious.

He is more of nobody! He is Gift Orban! He scores free kicks too

What i am trying to say is that he is not an out and out centre forward like Haaland.
He can easily play on the wings and as a supporting striker.
He can do a lot of things and create chances for himself.
That is what i observed from what i saw of him.
There was a time he even tried to score from midfield and the ball hit the bar.
As a result, a lot of teams will be interested as he can slot in as a wing forward or whatever.
Whoever is our coach should take note and use him appropiately.

WHY IT MAY BE BETTER FOR NDIDI TO STAY IN LEICESTER

Ndidi might be better off staying in leicester because
THEIR NEW COACH IS A TIKI TAKA POSSESSION FOOTBALL COACH. HE IS ONE OF GUARDIOLAS ASSISTANTS
AS A RESULT, HE IS FORCING NDIDI TO PLAY TECHNICAL FOOTBALL PASS AND ATTACK WITH THE BALL
IN FACT, HE IS NOW PLAYING HIM AS A BOX TO BOX MIDFIELDER
THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN MISSING ABOUT NDIDI'S GAME AND WHY HE IS NOT IN A BIG CLUB
HE NEEDS SOMEWHERE WHERE HE CAN LEARN THE BASICS
IF HE CAN SPEND A SEASON LEARNING HOW TO BE TECHNICALLY ASTUTE THEN HE CAN MOVE TO
A BIGGER CLUB BUT HE MAY HAVE TO STOOP TO CONQUER

AS PER IHEANACHO THE COACH PREFERS HIM BECAUSE HE SUITS A POSSESION PLAYING TEAM
HE IS PREFERRED AHEAD OF VARDY FOR TACTICAL REASONS
THE COACH LIKES HOW HE MOVES BACK IN MIDFIELD AND DRAGS THE CENTER BACKS OUT OR POSITION
I HAVE ALLWAYS FELT IHEANACHO WILL DO WELL IN AN AVERAGE TEAM IN A TECHNICAL LEAGUE/TEAM THAT
PLAYS TECHNICAL FOOTBALL.
TEAMS LIKE CELTA VIGO, PARM ETC IN ITALY OR SPAIN.

AS PER NDIDI
IF HE STAYS HE HAS TO LEARN!!! LEARN!!! AND BECOME MORE TECHNICAL
IF NOT THE NEXT ONE YEAR WILL BE WASTED

Why?

We might loose Gift Orban to Togo because of NFF irresponsibility and bias.
The only reason he might not play for Togo is the fact that Togo cannot achieve much in international football.
Togo is just an ekuke team with nothing much.
Its better we invite him to play our next competitive match and field him even if it is for a minute
A player like this might end up in bayern, barcelona, chelsea in the next 3 to 5 years.
He can play as a winger or anything in the team.
We have to act fast before we loose him to Togo

Amokachi and Siasia can never be compared to great king Kanu

Kanu was the black Dennis Bergkamp

This is an excerpt from Afcon 2006 Nigeria vs Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe coach says Kanu's a "wizard"

We had a good first half, but when Kanu came in on resumption, things changed and in the course of about five minutes of madness, my defence line caved in. I think Kanu is a phenomenon in the Nigerian team. I will call him a wizard," Mhlauri remarked.

Port Said, Egypt (PANA) - Coach Charles Mhlauri of Zimbabwe has attributed his team's 2-0 loss Friday to the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the entry in the match of striker Nwankwo Kanu in the second half.
the Zimbabwean coach noted that if Kanu had not been introduced in the match, the 'Warriors' of Zimbabwe had 'enough weapon to hold the Eagles'.

https://coupedafrique.winoo.com/Africancup2006/index.cfm/md/11/id/1641/Zimbabwe_coach_says_Kanu_s_a_wizard__ACN_2006_.cfm

Kanu Nwankwo brought far more to the team than goals. That is why he was key and regular. His operation of deep and bringing the other forward players into game was a prime tactical strength of the team. That was why he played for the likes of Ajax when they were winning Champions League and reached the finals and Arsenal in their most dominant time.

The goals of Siasia and Amokachi never got them close to such level or recognition.

in afcon 2000 he had a hattrick of assists against Tunisia.
His ability in midfield was the only thing that kept us going
from 2006 to 2010.
In the period we will play rubbish and kanu will come in and change the game from midfield
I remember our matches against senegal and zimbabwe in afcon 2006, 2008 or 2010
i can remember.
He was a magician who changed the game from midfield.
Kanu trumps amokachi and siasia in his ability to control the midfield and create chances.
He simply was more of a midfielder was more creative, could play possesion football
and made life easier for our forwards

What i dont like about that generation is that they were underachievers. Tge france 98 team was more talented than the morocan team if the 2022 world cup but the moroccan team got better results. Indiscipline killed tgat generation. They failed Africa
