We hope so. If they cannot, they will simply postpone the polls beyond June. #why the desperation. PDP has began casting aspersions on the integrity of Jega. They will do everything to frustrate INECs effort in conducting a credible poll. This is sad.

Postponingthe poll beyond June is not in the picture. Mr president himself said it that May 29 handover date is sacrosanct. If there's a any plan to rig the elections, they should explore other options because at the national level, INEC cannot be twisted.

SLS and Jega occupy two different offices and their offices affect Nigerians differently. The Presidency is only trying to sample opinion with this kind of news in circulation. They are very aware of the consequence of such decision. Its a no go area. Their desperation can be achieved via other means of rigging not by removing Prof. Jega.

Jega can never be removed before the end of his tenure in June,neither will he for any reason be ordered by the presidency to commence his terminal leave before his last assignment of April 11.

I really don't get the picture, will military men stand by ballot box to monitor who is thumb printing in their favour or nor,or they will be positioned @ polling units to begin shootings in the air when their ballot snatching thugs arrive? Thank God for technology,glasses,caps,pens,etc now have cameras that can be used for secret shot & coverage.

GEJ has made history, I must say. I see thousands of passionate Nigerians waiting to hear the final copy conclusion. Has Mr President forgotten that Nigerians also gather in Central mosques across the nation. He needs to reach out to them too in his call for a peaceful polls. He should not 'disenfranchise' them on that.

Nigerian Government Account is bound to deplete drastically in this period because clinging on to power is something the present administration can die over. A call for poll shift all in a bid to perfect rigging strategy will woefully fail.

Sire,I feel u're wrong. The problem is that PDP haven't yet perfected its rigging almighty formula using the military to facilitate access for PDP operatives and supporters, the creation of a list of APC
members to be arrested come Feb 14, and the deployment of a Special Team of military personnel to prevent APC voters from
reaching the polls,just as was done in Ekiti.

Oppressive acts like this is PDP's highpoint. They are very good at it. This is one of the reasons they are yelling for a poll shift,so to perfect their rigging plans as the evil underwork seems unfinished yet. They're bound to fail. Fayose, you're destined never to finish a tenure in office. Your second throw out of office is imminent.

The military already told Jega they can't provide security and logistics at this time. They claim they are not ready for it.

Heavy military presence is not expected in every state that has been fairly peaceful before this time. Besides, after the statesmen met,Okorocha was quoted to have said that the security chiefs said they were ready for the election,that their worries are the possibility of holding elections in territories under BH control,which ordinarily,polls are not expected to hold there due to the volatility of the security situation there. It should not be tomorrow saturday that Jega will realise that INEC cannot contain all the logistic issues on ground.

Jega should be very careful about what decision he makes at this crucial time. His decision on whether the polls would be shifted or not should have been best aired right at the NCS held on thursday and not waiting till 2 days after to check out how well logistics have faired. I strong want to believe that the final decision of INEC tomorrow will be to carry out the polls as planned because anything contrary will not be acceptable as it seems his integrity has been compromised
