SportsKaka In Tears After Losing His Final Career Match Against Columbus Crew by phoenix45(op): 7:12am On Oct 16, 2017
Football legend Kaka have saw his MLS career come to a losing end as after his team Orlando City were defeated by Columbus Crew upon home turf - in a match which is likely to be last ever in the illustrious career of the Brazilian legend.
A solitary goal from Columbus forward Ola Kamara was enough to separate the sides, following a swift counter attack against the run of play which materialised into a simple tap in.
Former Ballon d'Or holder Kaka was visibly emotional ahead of the first whistle, pictured by cameras taking in the scenes with a solo tear falling down his cheek.
ervous fans watched on from the standings ho the main man could make one final mark
As masses of supporters decked out in purple shirt emblazoned with the famous No 10 of Kaka watched on from the terraces, Columbus seized upon an opportunity against the run of play.
Bursting down the left flank Hector Jiménez squared a ball across the Orlando back line to find Kamara in space, while defenders around him flailed at sixes and sevens.
The striker held his nerve to slot the ball past helpless goalkeeper Joe Bendik.
It was an unceremonious and anticlimactic end to what has been undoubtedly one of world football's most decorated careers, with Kaka signing off to leave the beautiful game one legend lighter.

Science/TechnologyBritain And Ireland Braced Sunday For A Lashing From Ophelia. by phoenix45(op): 8:00pm On Oct 15, 2017
Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, will be expected to hit Britain and Ireland on Monday after it dumped heavy rains on Portugal's Azores islands
Dublin (AFP) - Britain and Ireland braced Sunday for a lashing from Ophelia, the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean , after it have dumped heavy rains on Portugal's Azores islands.
As the storm passed near the Azores archipelago on Saturday it was classed Category 3, which means it packed winds of at least 178 kilometres (110 miles) per hour.
Though cooler seas will weaken the storm as it churns towards the west coast of Ireland, it still has enough power to damage buildings and provoke "dangerous" sea conditions as well as potential flooding, Irish authorities said.
Meteorologists say Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean . ophelia is the most powerful hurricane recorded so far east in the Atlantic ocean and the first since 1939 to travel so far north.
It is the 15th named storm of the 2017 Atlantic season, which is expected to last until the end of November.
Three major hurricanes -- Harvey, Irma and Maria -- caused catastrophic damage in the Caribbean and the US Gulf Coast. Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, to hit britian and ireland on monday
By the time Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, hit britian and ireland on monday ; it is expected to weaken to a "post tropical storm" with severe winds and stormy conditions , according to the US National Hurricane Center.
Ireland's Met Eireann national weather service has issued a "status red" alert for eight western and southern counties, warning of severe winds and stormy conditions.and the huge destructions that will be accompanied by Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, " the Mean wind speeds is caculated to be in excess of 80 kph (50 mph) and gusts in excess of 130 kph (80 mph) are expected, potentially causing structural damage and disruption, with dangerous marine conditions due to high seas and potential flooding," it said.
All schools in areas affected by the red wind alert are to close on Monday.
Flights, ferries and buses all face disruption. Cork Airport in southwest Ireland said "cancellations are likely" and urged passengers to check with their airlines in advance of travel.
After skirting up the Irish coast, the eye of the storm was forecast to cross Scotland.
- Sea warning -
"By the time Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, reaches our latitudes, she will be weakening and will be an ex-hurricane," said Steve Ramsdale, chief forecaster at Britain's Met Office national weather service.
"However, Ex- Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, will be bringing some significant impact to Northern Ireland and western and northern Britain on Monday and Tuesday."
An amber wind warning has been issued for Northern Ireland between 1400 GMT and 2100 GMT, when gusts could reach up to 130 kph (80 mph).
Meanwhile Matt Crofts, a lifesaving manager with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, said the seas could be "particularly dangerous and unpredictable as regards to the Ophelia;the largest hurricane ever recorded so far east in the Atlantic Ocean, ".
"Stormy conditions may be tempting to watch but big waves can easily knock you off your feet.
"We understand why people want to experience extreme weather, but it’s not worth risking your life, so we strongly urge people to respect the water and watch from a safe distance."
Seven of the nine islands in the Azores were on high alert for the storm's passage, but it did not cause major damage, authorities told reporters.
Four trees were torn out of the ground on the island of Sao Miguel and firefighters responded to six incidents across the Azores to deal with small floods or landslides.
Several flights between the islands or to the Portuguese mainland were cancelled, affecting about 800 passengers

Science/TechnologyThe South Korean Military Is Developing A New Weapon To Aid Fight North Korean by phoenix45(op): 5:08pm On Oct 15, 2017
South Korea 'Blackout Bombs' Can Take Down Pyongyang Without Firing a Shot
Seoul’s Agency for Defense Development (ADD) has acquired the technology to build graphite bombs, non-lethal weapons that can take down North Korea’s power system in case of a war, according to military sources who spoke to South Korea’s news agency Yonhap on Sunday.
“All technologies for the development of a graphite bomb led by the ADD have been secured," a military official said. "It is in the stage where we can build the bombs anytime."
Known as “blackout bombs,” the warheads can be dropped by a plane over power stations. A form of cluster bombs, they split into several canister-like “sub-munitions,” which in turn release carbon graphite filaments that short-circuit the electricity supplies.
The bombs were first used by the U.S. Navy in 1991 to black out power supply in Iraq during the first Gulf War. They were later also deployed against Serbia during the Balkan conflict in 1999.
After their use in Kosovo, NATO spokesperson Jamie Shea said that the bomb’s impact is mostly psychological, as the targeted country feels literally and figuratively powerless. “We can turn the power off whenever we need to and whenever we want to," Shea told the BBC at the time.
South Korea is adding the weapons to its arsenal as part of one of its recently-developed military programs, the so-called “Kill Chain,” which aims to detect an imminent missile attack from the North and react with a pre-emptive strike.
Read more: Donald Trump agrees South Korea should have bigger warheads to face North Korea
As reported by the Korea Times in 2016, the arms build-up also includes the Korea Air and Missile Defense Program, tasked with tracking and shooting down nuclear missiles heading for South Korea, and an initiative known as the Korean Massive Punishment and Retaliation system, which would first strike back against a North Korean attack.
Originally due for completion in the mid-2020s, South Korea has sped up the program’s timeline to face North Korea’s rapidly advancing nuclear weapons development program.
Monitoring groups such as the Nuclear Threat Initiative recorded Pyongyang conducting 19 missile tests this year alone, including two intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the U.S. mainland . North Korea also tested a
hydrogen bomb in its sixth—and most powerful—nuclear test to date.
The South Korean military says there are no signs of an imminent threat.
"We have yet to detect any signs of immediate provocations from North Korea," a South Korean military source said on Monday, quoted in Yonhap, adding: "We are maintaining an upgraded monitoring effort to guard against any developments."

HealthThe Three Main Function Of The Human Being Skin by phoenix45(op): 5:20pm On Oct 03, 2017
The human being skin have widely variation of its functionalities and capabilities, which aids the body to work perfectly. Here is The Three main functions of the human being skin which is for Protection, Sensation & Regulation and others.
The human being skin or integumentary system is the largest organ of the human body and is approximately 16% of a person's body weight. The human being skin's function is to keep our insides in and the outside world out (Protection). Also the three main functions of the human skin is that it protects us from heat, cold and injury. It is also a sensory organ that tells us when things are too cold or too hot, too sharp or too close and allows us to feel things with our fingers (Sensation).

The human being skin has mechanisms that help us to cool down and warm up. For example when the weather is cold, the blood vessels in our skin constrict to redirect blood to our vital organs, to keep them warm. Goosebumps help keep us warm by forming a layer of erect hair to retain heat. When the weather is warm, the blood vessels dilate or expand to send blood to the surface of the skin to cool down. Sweating, another function of the skin, also helps to cool us down. All of these mechanisms are a form of thermoregulation.

The human being skin consists of 3 major regions.

1. Epidermis

2. Dermis

3. Hypodermis or subcutaneous

Now let’s talk of The Epidermis

The Epidermis is made up of epithelial cells in 4 distinct layers over most of the body except the hands and feet which have an extra layer. The layers of the skin are:

Basal layer or Stratum Basale is the deepest layer of the epidermis. It is a single row of epithelial cells called Keratinocytes which are constantly dividing and sending new cells up into the next layer. This layer contains melanocytes and merkel cells.

The next layer is the spinous layer or Stratum Spinosum. It is the thickest layer of the epidermis and here the keratinocytes spread out and lock in to all the other keratinocytes creating a kind of patchwork quilt of oddly shaped cells. As many of the joins are at sharp angles, this is nicknamed the spiny layer. Melanin granules and Langerhan's cells exist in this layer.

The Stratum Granulosum or Granular layer is the next layer towards the surface. This layer is less dense than the Spiny Layer as the cells flatten out and become more compact. The Granular layer is where fibres called keratin filaments start to gather together and lipids (fats) accumulate to prepare the layer to fulfil its job of protecting the body. It is at this point that the cells is no longer living.

The Stratum Lucidum or clear layer is only present on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. It is made up of dead cells that look clear under a microscope. It gives an extra layer of protection and flexibility to areas of most friction which also makes up the three main function of the human being skin.

The Stratum Corneum is the thick, outermost layer of the human being skin and consists of dead, keratinatised cells called corneocytes. The cells are bound together with connectors called desmosomes and their function is to protect the deeper layers from water and injury. The Stratum Corneum is constantly sloughing off its outer cells while being replenished from below.

The Dermis

The dermis is connective tissue. Connective tissue is a supporting framework. Its main components are Collagen, Elastin and Ground Substance.

The Dermis supports and strengthens the epidermis and is made up of connective tissue. It has 2 layers. They are not clearly defined as in the epidermis but rather a continuum, from the papillary dermis near the epidermis, to the reticular dermis below it, which then merges with the subcutaneous tissue.

Layers of the Dermis

The Papillary Dermis as regards to the three main functions of the human being skin
The Reticular Dermis as regards to the three main functions of the human being skin

The Papillary Dermis

The Papillary Dermis is the thin upper layer closest to the epidermis. It is called the papillary dermis because it projects papillae (nipple-like structures) into the epidermis. This fixes the dermis to the epidermis so they don't slide over each other. The Papillary Dermis contains Capillaries - which provide nutrients to and remove waste from the cells of the epidermis which is one of the three main functions of the human being skin.

The Reticular Dermis

The Reticular Dermis is the largest part of the dermis and it contains many structures such as hair follicles, sebaceous glands, sweat glands, nerves, blood vessels, lymph vessels, muscles and other glands. This layer gives strength and resilience to the skin because of the presence of a scaffolding of Collagen and Elastin fibres in a kind of syrup called Ground Substance.

The Hypodermis or subcutaneous tissue

The Hypodermis is the tissue that lies under the dermis. It is mainly made of adipose tissue (fat), connective tissue and blood vessels but many of the structures of the human being skin such as hair follicles, glands, nerves and muscles extend to this area. The hypodermis anchors the dermis to the underlying fascia (layers that surround body structures such as bones and muscles). The reticular dermis blends into the hypodermis rather than the two being well defined separate layers. Now that we have finished all about the three main function of the human being skin

SportsPSG Upstaged German Powerhouse Bayern Munich 3-0. Impressive! by phoenix45(op): 10:07am On Sep 28, 2017
Paris upstaged German powerhouse Bayern Munich 3-0. Impressive!
THE MATCH: FIRST-CLASS PARIS saint german!
After the joys of Glasgow, it was time for the Parc to enjoy a new recital! This Paris side is more than happy to put on a show and they did it once again – in style – against the Bavarian giants! Paris made the perfect start! After just 120 seconds Les Rouge et Bleu set the tone. The Champions League hymn was still ringing in the ears when "Ney" pulled a first rabbit out of the hat. Neymar Jr cut inside from the left, gliding passed opponents before setting up fellow Brazilian Dani Alves, unmarked at the back post, to blast past Ulreich (1-0, 2') !
Despite the early set-back, Carlo Ancelotti's men stayed calm and played their way back into the match. But they weren't counting on a magnificent Areola in the Paris goal, tipping over Martinez's goal-bound volley (19'). Bayern were dominating possession, but were already leaving spaces at the back. The irrepressible Mbappé broke down the right and squared the ball for Cavani. What happened next? A sensational first-time finish that gave Ulreich no chance as it flew into the roof of the net (2-0, 31') ! El Matador has now found the back of the net in his last six consecutive Champions League matches – further extending his club record 23 European goals for the capital club! With clinical efficiency, Paris had already taken a stranglehold on the match.
After the break, the Parc welcomed back a former son in the form of France international and Bayern winger Kingsley Coman, but it was the home side that continued to shine. After Thiago Silva cleared off the line from Martinez's header (50'), at the other end Neymar Jr fired centimetres wide with two great efforts (50', 54'). Perhaps he was just finding his range because it wasn't long before he had his name on the scoresheet. Another stunning Mbappé move turned Alaba inside out before he shot from a tight angle. The ball broke to Neymar Jr who fired the rebound home from close range (3-0, 63') ! Areola secured the clean sheet in the final minutes (87', 90+3'). The 3-0 triumph was Paris's fourth consecutive home win of the campaign, in all competitions. At the start of the match, the Auteuil stand announced: 'Tomorrow, Europe will be Rouge et Bleu'. What if the dream was becoming a reality?
THE MOMENT: MBAPPÉ ON CLOUD 9
In his first European outing at the Parc, Kylian Mbappé received a huge ovation when he was substituted in the 79 minute. It was nothing less than he deserved. A fantastic solo raid, nutmeg included (23'), an assist for Cavani (31'), incessant pacy runs in behind the Bayern defence: no doubt the boy from the Paris suburbs was sensational once again. And what can you say about that mesmerising dribble on Alaba for the third goal? Simply magnificent!
WHAT DID WE LEARN:
The Franco-German battle for top spot in Group B should go all the way to the wire, when the two meet on the final Matchday in Munich. But going on this first match between the two, Paris Saint-Germain have already taken on option on first place with six points from their opening two games and eight unanswered goals scored. Paris can now head into their back to back matches with Anderlecht in October full of confidence. The Parc enjoyed the show this evening and let's hope there's an encore this Saturday in Ligue 1 with the visit of Bordeaux to the French capital!

The Blues have won three times on trips to Spain, drawn seven, and lost five times, and are now aiming to become the first Premier League team to outwit a side coached by Simeone in front of their own fans.
Atletico had a fine record at their stadium of 50 years, the Vicente Calderon, and our two previous meetings there ended in draws. It took a penalty for the Colchoneros, or Mattressmakers, to get the better of Leicester City there last season. That was only their second success in six UEFA matches at home to Premier League visitors, but no English club has won on their home soil over 90 minutes. (Derby, in the 1974/75 UEFA Cup, prevailed after penalties.)
Quite apart from the Diego Costa transfer, there are plenty of connections between the two squads. On the Rojiblancos’ bench is a face familiar to Chelsea: Tiago, the popular midfielder in our 2004/05 title-winning season, who was appointed assistant coach to Simeone in the summer.
Tiago after scoring at Palace in 2004
Of course the hosts also have in their ranks Fernando Torres, one of the heroes of our 2011/12 Champions League success, especially that night at Camp Nou, as well as our onetime left-back Filipe Luis. Another player certain to be greeted warmly by opposition supporters is Thibaut Courtois, who helped Atletico to three trophies and a Champions League final while on loan in Madrid.
Former Real man Alvaro Morata is now showing what faith can do for performance: no one in the Premier League has scored more than his six goals (four of those set up by compatriot Cesar Azpilicueta, once of Osasuna).
To Atleti fans, though, the Spaniard’s presence will be a bitter reminder of their city rivals’ victories in last season’s Champions League semis and the 2014 final. Nor is the whistling likely to abate should the home crowd catch sight of Pedro, Cesc Fabregas, or Willy Caballero, with their history at Liga rivals.
Unlike Spurs at Wembley or Arsenal at the Emirates, the Rojiblancos have hit the ground running in their new stadium. Their maiden voyage at the spectacular new Wanda Metropolitano stadium, seven miles east of their old city centre ground and out near Baraja airport, was against Malaga on Saturday 16 September. It ended 1-0 to the hosts, Antoine Griezmann with the historic strike. They also won 2-0 there against Seville on Saturday.
Their third game in the 68,000-seater former athletics arena, and first in European competition, will be against Chelsea. As a result, one Chelsea player may have the honour of scoring the first ever goal there by an opponent.
Despite the excitable hullabaloo, it may be good to be playing this fixture before the paint has dried, the sightlines are fixed and the players can focus on the football.
Their old home from 1923 to 1966 was the multi-purpose Estadio Metropolitano in the north-west of the city. (It is deliberately referenced in the new ground’s name.) The Vicente Calderon, with 13,000 seats fewer than the new place but in the vibrant heart of Madrid, is all many current supporters have ever known.

SportsGuess Who Is Manchester United Fans Favourite Player ? by phoenix45(op): 9:51am On Sep 19, 2017
following the last Sunday premier league match between manutd and everton where unted won with huge margin of 4 goal to everton with score 0. Nemanja Matic have won the theatre of dreams fans hearts and he has instantly become a fan favourite since moving to Old Trafford and it’s not too difficult to see why.
The imposing central midfielder put on another commanding performance against Everton, proving integral in both United’s defensive and attacking play and earning our Man-of-the-Match award.
Former Reds boss Ron Atkinson nominated nemanja Matic , David De Gea and Marouane Fellaini, with the Serb collecting 62 per cent of the vote ahead of second-placed De Gea on 31 per cent.
nemanja Matic provided the assist for Antonio Valencia to open the scoring and was heavily involved in the build-up to Romelu Lukaku’s goal, the team's third of the afternoon, as his deflected cross was helped on by Jesse Lingard towards the Belgian striker.
If it seemed like nemanja Matic was always breaking up Everton's attacks, that's because he was. He gained possession 12 times and had far more touches than anybody else on the field (99). The ex-Chelsea man's total of 83 passes was way higher than the next Red, Ashley Young, on 59, and the leading Toffee in this field (Morgan Schneiderlin on 69), showing his dominance, and he used the ball effectively as well with an accuracy of 90.4 per cent.
Opta's data also shows he covered 11.71km during the game, which is significantly more than anyone else on the pitch. These sort of figures prove just why
nemanja Matic is making such an immediate impact at his new home and this is the second time he's won our award after being made star man for the win over West Ham on 13 August.

SportsBest Tips For Football Officials by phoenix45(op): 9:43am On Sep 19, 2017
Many football officials, especially younger or newer ones, feel like they must see everything that happens out on the field. That is simply not true as well as impossible. I want to share my over six years of football officials officiating experience, as well as my family experience in football official officiating to help put officials minds at rest.
To start, in what profession are people right all the time? That is even looking at full-time professions. Football officials are not working for a full-time job, they usually aren't even doing it for the money, just the love of the game and staying connected. So why should officials be held to a higher standard than full-time professionals in other fields? They shouldn't be! Additionally, a coach may be yelling at an official for a missed call, but more likely than not, that official could tell the coach about numerous plays he called wrong. No one is perfect, so don't hold yourself to that standard.
Next, mistakes happen. You will miss a call and you will get yelled at if you officiate football wells thats the sorrow of becoming football official. But you must be able to put that play behind you and officiate what is being presented to you at the time. If you are still thinking about a past play, you are much more likely to miss another call on the play going on in front of you.
But what about that coach that continues yelling at you about that call 5 plays ago? Sometimes all a coach is looking for is for the football officials to acknowledge that they may have missed a call. If a coach keeps yelling at you, you could take the option of telling the coach, "look, I may have missed that one and I am sorry. I will have to take a look at that after the game." That is usually all it takes to make a coach happy again and get out of your ear.
Finally, football officials need to make sure they are in the right position. Read the mechanics books for the number of people on your crew so you know where you should be on every play and what you should be looking at. When a football officials is out of position, it is obvious to the person grading the game. If there is a call you made, or may have missed while out of position, some graders will be much tougher on you because you were out of position. Those mechanics are built to help put you in the best position to see what you need to. Take advantage of that and read the mechanics books and practice those mechanics.
I hope you are confidence in this article about football officials and how to handle feelings when officiating in the field, learn to control your feelings and temper and never allow anything to distract your attention from making false descision

SportsManutd Victories Over Everton by phoenix45(op): 1:29am On Sep 18, 2017
finally the long awaited match have come and gone and the victory goes to the red devils....with valencia opening the goal of Manchester United.
After the long tussle in the field MANUTD WON WITH A HUGE MARGIN 4 compare with EVERTON WITH NONE...
Premier League | 17 September 2017 | Old Trafford | Attendance: TBC | Scorers: Valencia 4, Mkhitaryan 84, Lukaku 89, Martial 90+2 (pen)
Manchester United moved joint-top of the Premier League table with a 4-0 thumping of Everton at Old Trafford on Wayne Rooney's first return to Old Trafford since leaving in the summer.
Antonio Valencia handed the Reds the perfect start but there were some nervous moments until Henrikh Mkhitaryan added a second goal, shortly after Rooney was withdrawn to a warm ovation. Romelu Lukaku netted against his former club as the floodgates opened and there was still time for Anthony Martial to convert a stoppage-time penalty.
Valencia hammered a sublime first-time shot past Jordan Pickford in only the fourth minute, when Nemanja Matic picked him out on the edge of the box with an astute pass from left to right.
The Reds continued to probe for openings and should have doubled the lead when Michael Keane's stray pass was picked up by Juan Mata, who released Lukaku. Unfortunately, with the goal at his mercy, the former Toffees striker fired the wrong side of the post.
Rooney shot wide from one decent attack by the visitors and they remained very much in the game, with David De Gea saving from Tom Davies's header when the youngster was offside in any case. After the break, Everton began to get on top with Rooney thwarted by De Gea after tackling Eric Bailly inside the box and the keeper also denied Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Mata almost extended United's advantage when crashing a free-kick off an upright after he was fouled on the edge of the box by Ashley Williams but any anxiety was eased when Mkhitaryan stroked home an unselfish pass by Lukaku.
Belgium international Lukaku got in on the act himself when steering in soon afterwards. His free-kick may have hit the wall but he remained alive to an opening and tucked past Pickford as Jesse Lingard flicked on a deflected Matic centre.
With time running out, United went for the kill and Martial showed quick feet inside the box, only for ex-Red Morgan Schneiderlin to slide in and handle the ball. The lively substitute took on the responsibility himself and added number four to ensure Jose Mourinho's men have matched neighbours City's record in the league this term.
David De Gea preserved another clean sheet, his 100th for the club, when making a brilliant stop to keep out Sandro Ramirez's long-range effort on another afternoon to remember at Old Trafford.

SportsChelsea Ends Up With Goaless Draw Against Arsenal by phoenix45(op): 11:16pm On Sep 17, 2017
Chelsea drew a home game for the first time under Antonio Conte as an even London derby ended goalless at the Bridge.
Pedro had our best chance of the day, midway through the first half, but he was denied by Petr Cech, while Aaron Ramsey went closest for Arsenal, hitting the post.
If our visitors probably edged things before the half-time whistle, Chelsea were on top for the most part once play resumed but found clear opportunities at a premium.
Eden Hazard , introduced for the final 20 minutes, forced Cech into a decent save late on.
Before time was up, David Luiz was dismissed for a late tackle but Antonio Conte ’s 10 men faced no major scares thereafter and so, for the first time under his stewardship, the game finished goalless and we picked up a point at home.
We return to the Bridge on Wednesday as our Carabao Cup campaign gets underway.
Gary Cahill returned after serving his domestic suspension, and Willian replaced Tiemoue Bakayoko from the side that won at Leicester last weekend. Cesc Fabregas dropped back into the centre of midfield.
Arsenal, also in midweek European action, made one change from their last league outing a week ago, Alex Iwobi selected in place of the unavailable Mesut Ozil.
Chelsea started full of vim and vigour as we looked to assert our authority in a fixture that has treated us well in recent years. Victor Moses forced Cech to dive and catch a cross, and then a low Pedro effort was held by our former keeper. Inside five minutes he was called into action again, kicking a Fabregas cross-shot behind after we neatly worked a corner short.
Arsenal weren’t afraid to show their attacking intentions, too, and they created a couple of decent openings before the quarter-hour mark. Hector Bellerin was the supplier on both occasions, with his first delivery headed wide by Danny Welbeck, and his second fired goalwards by Alexandre Lacazette. Thibaut Courtois got down low to save that effort, as he did when Sead Kolasinac tried his luck from further out.
The Blues’ standout opportunity of the half followed on 21 minutes. Pedro had just required treatment but showed no ill-effects of it as he took Fabregas’s outstanding, defence-splitting pass in his stride with plenty of green grass to run into, and only Cech to beat. He took his time before getting his shot away, though, and when it did arrive the keeper stood tall and blocked.
There was a good pace to proceedings throughout the half with both teams committed to attack, even if the speed of the play occasionally compromised ball retention.
It was after we had struggled to retain possession that the visitors created their best chances before the break. Aaron Ramsey slipped his way past a couple of challenges inside our box and prodded a shot against the post. The rebound bounced up to Lacazette who volleyed wastefully high and wide.
But the warning had been served, and after a bright start Antonio Conte would have known his team had to improve after the interval.
With that in mind, the boss made a change before play restarted, introducing Bakayoko for Pedro. The Frenchman lined up alongside his compatriot Kante, and so Fabregas shifted forward.
Willian had an early sighter that Cech saved, and the Brazilian was then so nearly slipped in by Morata after he exquisitely turned Mustafi.
David Luiz was the first man into the ref’s notebook on 52 minutes, punished for a high kick on Koscielny inside the six-yard box. Bakayoko then displayed all his strength, speed and skill, turning defence into attack in the blink of an eye. He found Alonso whose shot was blocked.
His opposite left wing-back, Kolasinac, got the ball caught under his feet having exchanged passes with Welbeck and driven goalwards. An hour had passed.
The contest entered something of a lull and by the time 20 minutes remained, both bosses had brought their trump card on. Alexis Sanchez took Lacazette’s place and then it was Hazard’s turn to enter the fray, replacing Willian. The Belgian moved alongside Morata in attack, with Fabregas dropping deeper making it a midfield three.
Arsenal had the ball in the net on 75 minutes but Mustafi was clearly offside and the flag raised.
Many inside Stamford Bridge thought Hazard was about to legitimately open the scoring at the end of a dazzling run, but Cech plucked his 20-yard strike out of the sky.
Moses had a volley blocked as an Arsenal shirt once again threw their body in the line of fire, before the Blues were reduced to 10 men against this opposition for the third game running. David Luiz, earlier booked, was shown a straight red for a late challenge on Kolasinac in front of the dugouts, although it looked like Sanchez had fouled him in the build-up to it.
That was the last noteworthy action of an entertaining afternoon that both sides will feel they might have got more from.

Science/TechnologyThe Transition Between Daylight Saving And Standard Time May Lead To Deppression by phoenix45(op): 4:26pm On Nov 12, 2016
"The 12 months has 16 months: November, December, January, February, March, April, may also, June, July, August, September, October, November, November, November, November," writes the Danish poet Henrik Nordbrandt in a disheartening comment on the month we are about to go into. And Nordbrandt isn't the simplest one struggling in November. A recently published have a look at documents that the variety of those who are recognized with depression at psychiatric hospitals in Denmark will increase straight away after the transition from sunlight hours saving time to traditional
time. greater especially, the range of
melancholy diagnoses throughout the month
after the transition from sunlight
hours saving time is about 8
consistent with cent higher than expected primarily based on the
development inside the range of
diagnoses as much as the transition.
The observe is based totally on
evaluation of 185,419 depression diagnoses
registered in the crucial Psychiatric research check in between 1995 and 2012. in keeping
with partner Professor Søren D. Østergaard
from Aarhus college hospital in Risskov, that is
a part of The department of clinical medicine
at Aarhus university, the increase in depression
fees is too reported to be coincidental. Søren D. Østergaard is one of the five researchers at the
back of the observe, that is the result of a
collaboration between departments of
psychiatry and political technology on the
universities of Aarhus, Copenhagen and
Stanford. "we are incredibly certain that it is the transition from daylight hours saving time
to preferred time that reasons the increase in
the quantity of depression diagnoses and not,
for example, the trade in the period of the day
or horrific climate. In fact, we take those
phenomena into consideration in our analyses," says Søren D. Østergaard. He also
points out that despite the fact that the have a
look at is based totally on evaluation of
exceedingly intense depressions diagnosed at
psychiatric hospitals, there is no reason to
agree with that the time transition best influences the propensity to broaden greater
intense sorts of despair. "We expect that the
complete spectrum of severity is suffering
from the transition from daylight saving time
to traditional time, and considering despair is a
surprisingly everyday infection, an boom of 8 in keeping with cent corresponds to many
cases," says Søren D. Østergaard. The examine
does no longer pick out the underlying
mechanism triggering the marked growth, but
the researchers factor to some possible causes.
In Denmark, the transition from daylight hours saving time to traditional time 'actions' one
hour of sunlight hours from the afternoon
between five:00 pm -- 6:00 pm to the morning
among 7:00 am -- 8:00 am. "We likely gain
much less from the daytime in the morning
between seven and 8, because lots of us are both within the bathe, ingesting breakfast or
sitting in a car or bus on the way to paintings
or school. when we get domestic and have
spare time in the afternoon, it is already
darkish," explains Søren D. Østergaard.
"moreover, the transition to traditional time is probable to be associated with a poor mental
effect because it very surely marks the coming
of a period of long, dark and cold days," says
Søren D. Østergaard. Why are the
consequences of the take a look at crucial? The
researcher from Aarhus college isn't always in doubt: "Our effects should give rise to
expanded awareness of depression within the
weeks following the transition to standard
time. This is especially authentic for humans
with a bent closer to despair -- in addition to
their spouse and children. furthermore the healthcare experts who diagnose and treat
depression must additionally take our effects
into consideration," says Søren D. Østergaard.

"look up mattew and stop snivelling like a small monkey." There was anger in tom's voice. He was a rough boy with a clean-shaved head and his yellow coloured eyes, was like those of a snake.
"we should go back now that nobody has seen us, "cried mattew. He was striken with fear. A fear that took the greater part of him and made his body shake.
"just follow my instructions, don't waver. We'll go through this without a hitch. Now let have the torchlight," tom said and. And snatched the torch from mattew's hand.
"we dont use the light, until we get into the compound," he added. The manner he spoke was grave and intimidating that matter was scared of making further argument.
the night was cold and silence engulfed every where. The regular sounds of crickets, sizzled in the air. The two boys ran like jack rabbits, entering into the small garden that guided the principal's house. The house was in total darkeness because there was a black-out. However a shadow of light reflected through the back window.
then two lean hungry looking mongrels with wild eyes saw the boy and barked ferociously at them.
matthew whirled round like a huricane and took to his heels. But it was too late. Tom was waiting for him. His long gony legs knocked the pudgy legs of matthew. Matthew lost balance and fell down violently on the ground and fainted.
the dogs barked with rage as they rushed towards the two boys. There were opening and sharp knocking of doors and more lights were coming from inside the principal's house.
"Now, it's the time. Put the mask on and stop this foolishness or I'll hit you," tom order matthew angrily. The dogs pursued them with bared teeth. Tom lifted a small bag he was carrying and took a blood dripping wrapped raw meat from it. Like lightening, he threw the bleeding meat away. The dogs smell the meat and rushed in that direction. They snarled hungrily as they tore the meat.
masked in their eye-opened pillow cases, they steathily moved into the house. The entrance door was hinging to open. A beam of light came from behind the door. The boys reached the door and hid by the side. The door suddenly opened.
"who's there?" the hoarse voice of the principal echoed into the night. It was a voice devoid of resonance and power. The lantern he was carrying illuminating just a few yards in front of him. He was in his pyjamas and the further darkness he could not see through, put a dreadful fear in him. The dogs had stopped barking and there was a cold sinister tension that hing like thick cotton wool over the snarling of the dogs.
then the principal stepped into the darkness as the lantern dangled in his hand. He decided to check, what had happened to his dogs. As he walked quickly towards the direction of the dogs, the boys sneaked inside the house and bolted the door.
the principal heard the sound of the door being bolted and rushed back. He could not open the steel door. He ran like a mad man towards the back of the house, but he remember kitchen doors were fastened last night before bed. All the entrance door were made of steel against intruders. His pudgy hands beats as that of a lunatic. It was like an ant fighting an elephant.
the boys moved like leopards in hunt and slipped into the bedroom section of the bungalow. There were screams every where but the boys were undaunted. As they approached, the principal's wife ran into them.
"oh! Who 're you? Where is my husband?" she screamed, trembling with fear.
"shh! Close your mouth woman, "tom ordered and brought out swiftly a locally made pistol, pointing it at the woman. Matthew stared in total shock.
"don't shoot her," matthew stammered in utter shock.
"shut your mouth, stupid idiot!" tom screamed at matthew. Tom pointed the gun at the principal's wife and pushed her back into the bathroom.
"we just want the money, madam and nothing else, "tom whispered to the trembling woman.
"there's no money in this house, please go away," she begged. Tom pointed the gun at her forehead.
"look! Dont kill this woman!" matthew pleaded in fear. What had he gotten himself into? From a small plan to steal the principal's old car tyres, they had changed into real armed robbers. He did not know that tom was carrying a local gun.
"i don't know about any money, my children ." the woman pleaded. Tom pushed the woman down and moved to a large drawer. He dragged the drawer and open and there was the bag stuffed with the teachers salary.
there was a great sound outside. It was certain the principal had woken the whole school. There were shouting and confusion coming from the dormitory. Though it was almost two hundred meteres away, the students could the principal's house in a minute.
the kitchen door offered an escaped and the two boys make towards the kitchen. Tom turned the large bolt and the door opened. The two boys ran into the darkness. Everything was happening so fast. By the time the students remembered the backyard and the kitchen door, the two boys had melted into the dark night.
To be continued..

masked in their eye-opened pillow cases, they steathily moved into the house.
