Go and tell these guys that they are not footballers because of their dressing
You go and tell them that they belong in the olden day of crude football. Tell them they and their dressing have no place in modern football. Same with those wearing hijab or burqah

Truthday:
Mumu. Who defines what we wear?? Who ? Are you ever born when men wear pants as shorts and how it changed today ? Are you born when nothing like bikini or bum short exist in the 50s in western society. If it's prone to change then such culture can bring anything to your society. Covering the body is an instinct of man from ages of when men tried to cover themselves with leaves or animal skins.
Dumbo, you didn't get it, do you?
The point is not to mix sport with unsporting things/dressings.

You can dress and cover your body as you like in the comfort of your community. Nobody is against that.
SportsRe: Nouhaila Benzina Becomes First Player To Wear Hijab At World Cup by Phoenix873: 10:12am On Jul 30, 2023
I am a Muslim ardent lover of football but this is a dumb innovation that will make women football unpleasant to watch.
FIFA had better think again and rescind the decision to allow females wear hijabs.
Football plus hijab is a stupid combo.
If you are so religious as to need to wear hijab all the times, then playing football is not for you.
Football or hijab? Choose one and stick to it.

FamilyRe: My To Be In-laws Are Frustrating Me by Phoenix873: 8:25pm On Jul 25, 2023
Been there, done that. It ended in premium regret that I am still nursing till now.
I lost a lot of money and that was what pained me most about the relationship.
But I have a feeling that, even though you might also have invested and spent (waste) a lot of money on your supposed fiance, you are still presently better off financially wise than me and wouldn't have a problem bouncing back from your heavy loss.
So my short and simple advice is; chest am, move on!!!
It is unfortunate that like me, you had to learn the hard way.
By refusing my advise, and continuing the relationship and spending/sponsorship of the girl, the subsequent but very certain pains that awaits you might be far greater than the pain you would have had to endure if you move on now, which might push you to do something stupid to yourself or the girl out of vengeance.
Plenty girls dey wey go give you peace of mind and meet your criteria for a potential wife, you will see them.
Move the fvck on from the ungrateful and entitled in-laws and their accomplice daughter.

PS: ignore the advise of those asking you to give the girl belle! You will regret trying it as long as your in-laws are alive to influence their daughter in your marriage. ✌️

Someone tell Bulaba all this are stories to the ears of an average Nigerian now.
As much as security a of lives and properties should be given priority attentions, the present suffering being faced by majority of average Nigerians now is as bad as the worst form of insecurity.

We have been hearing promises upon promises concerning post-subsidy palliative yet nothing has been implemented. Is it until we start dying from the stress and sufferings?

TravelRe: Share Your Experience With Commercial Drivers Since The Removal Of Subsidy by Phoenix873:
I lived in Ifo area of ogun state very close to the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.

So last week Saturday, I had an event to attend in Agbado area of Ogun state, so I would need to board a bus from Ifo to Ijaiye in Lagos from where I would take keke to Agbado.

Normally, bus fare from my bus stop in Ifo to Ijaiye was #500 to and fro making 1k per round trip.

With the removal of fuel subsidy and the attendant inflation, I had correctly assumed that the fare would have doubled. So I kept 2k for hand before embarking on the trip.

I was pleasantly shocked when the conductor of the bus that took me from Ifo to Ijaiye told me that my fee is #500. My mind quickly went to MC Oluomo whom we all know as Tinubu's boy and the transporters' Oga. I assume he must have directed his people not to increase their fares as a way of cushioning the painful harsh effects of the subsidy removal so as not to incure passengers' anger on his political godfather.

I was happy and decide to remove and keep aside #500 for the return trip which I erroneously assume will also be #500 😂. I spent the surplus on chopping 😁.

On the return trip, we were halfway through the journey when the bus conductor asks for my fare. I handed him the #500 on me and he looked at me with anger, saying my fare is #700 and I was like ehn how come 🤔?

Long story short, he asked me to get out of his bus after collecting #200 to cover the length of the trip I already made on his bus.

Had to trek a long distance before I could flag down a bus that agree to collect #300 to carry me to the rest of my destination.

Don't forget you or your wife or parents will also at some points organize a party for which you would want your friends and family to be present.
The points in your post are valid but it is a double edged sword.

Yevabi:
I was born deaf and dumb. I communicate through sign language and lips reading.

Unfortunately, very few people outside the deaf and dumb community understand sign language. This has been a huge hindrance to my dating and social life.

A lot of men back off when they find out about my disability. It is really depressing.

Share your experience.
RomanceRe: People With Disability, How Did You Find Love? by Phoenix873:
Hmmmm. Story of my life.
I am deaf too, but not dumb, meaning, while I can't hear anything at all, I could speak quite fluently. I don't even understands sign language as I wasn't brought up with it and have never had any reason to learn it. I communicate strictly by lip-reading which isn't that effective but still ok.

My experiences in the dating world of non-deaf people has been all but regrettable. I always ended up getting used and taken for granted which usually makes me end the rubbish relationship soon as I have had enough.

Now, I just pipe low and stop trying to stress this relationship thing but instead focused on bettering my life more than it is now.

I understand your worries and maybe anxiety being that unlike me who is male, you are a female, and females are biologicaly time-constrained when it comes to their body/marriage/reproduction.

My advice for you is to never be desperate.
Be eager but don't show it or ever appear desperate, wicked heartless guys will take serious advantage to use, dump and inflict emotional pain on you. I am talking from my experience with my last two relationships with non-deaf girls.

I can see you are literate, so I assume you attended a special school for the deaf, right? If so, I had advice you to look within the school community of students and find someone like you whom you like to start a friendship with and see what comes out of it.

Don't stress it, what will be will be

I am also single now and we could connect and see what comes out of it.

BusinessRe: My Barbing Business Is Dying by Phoenix873:
As a fellow barber with years of experience, my advice for you is to make inquiries about the other barbers within the town your barbing salon is located, they would normally have a set day, mostly Tuesdas, on which they come together for weekly meetings. Find out who their chairman or secretary is and try to see him one on one.
Tell him about the challenge you are facing in your nascent business and ask him to inform his members in one of their meetings that you need an experienced barber to be managing the shop for you.
You are unlikely to get one of the members there whose business is struggling, but you can request to have one of their experienced apprentice who is on the verge of doing freedom to come and be managing the shop for you. Such apprentices are usually eager to leave their boss, work and earn for themselves to gather money for their freedom.
Depending on how the business fares and how you treat them, they may or may not decide to remain parmernently in your shop working for you.

Women weren't created to offer much other than satisfy you dogs sexually, re-procreate and be a companion, therefore you can't force women to offer more than what they are created to offer. You as an animal is to offer the financial support, so do what you were created for and stop blabbing like a lunatic.
it is refreshing to know that sensible girls who knows what they want and what the true purpose of relationship should be still exist.
Not trying to sound like a religious bigot, but to the best of my knowledge, this exactly is how Islam intends it to be, courtship for a maximum of 6 months but with the agreement and under the supervision of the girl's parents/guardian, something I don't think Christianity mandates.
Can I DM you please @ Prettygirl200 ? Let us rub minds on the subject.

Which first storey building in Nigeria?

That thing the British built in Badagry in 1920 or whatever?

KAI. NIGERIANS, WHO DO UNA THIS THING?

So if they ask you now, a full grown man, about the first storey building in NIgeria, you will point to that house in Badagry?

Do you know there are storey buildings in Kano that are nearly 1,000 years old?

Do you know that Benin city, which was described in the 15th century by European visitors as one of the most beautiful and best planned cities on Earth, had multiple storey buildings and monuments before it was destroyed by British invaders in 189&?

Now they've brainwashed you people to think you had no storey buldings until they came.

KAI.

I swear these colonialists really dealt with you peoples' heads.

Its actually sad to behold.
Perhaps proper nomenclature for that building in badagry should have been 'the first cement and bricks' story building in Nigeria. Because, to the best of my knowledge, the earlier ancient story buildings of Kano and Benin that you alluded to were not built with cement but probably mud or other such ancient building materials
Foreign AffairsRe: Iowa Building Collapse (Pictures, Video) by Phoenix873: 12:23pm On Jun 01, 2023
Why be say most very old buildings of magnificent proportions still dey stand gidigba, like the first story building in Nigeria and several others in the world.

Perhaps ancient constructions are more strict with standards.
