How long does UPS take to deliver?

Because i would have to send my transcript again to avoid stories that touch.

I called my school n my school said the transcript was certified like they have been doing since, this now prompted me to reply d mail sent by UAF.

This is the mail UAF sent me afterwards, i dont get what they mean, they seemed to have starred the one they claimed was incomplete earlier, cus i told dem dt d other documents have not been sent yet.

*The transcript must also cover the full length of studies. This means that also transcripts of other studies must be included, if they form a part of your degree. Please attach the first page of the Transcript of records (Courses taken in semester 1 and 2)*


We have not received the following documents:
- Degree certificate
- Translation of degree certificate

Please make sure that all the required enclosures reach UAF by the given deadline as late enclosures are not processed.


3. Other required documents (verified by university)

Programme-specific required documents:
- Course descriptions for relevant courses in your transcript of records (in English, Swedish or Finnish)
- Copy of your passport's ID page

These documents are specifically requested by the programme you are applying to. UAF does not check the arrival or content of these documents, as this will be done by the university you are applying to.

If you have already submitted all the programme-specific enclosures requested by the university, please do not be alarmed when you receive this message and please do not enquire after these documents. You can feel sure that all of your application documents will be kept together and forwarded to the relevant university once processing has been completed.

Please make sure that you have sent all the required enclosures and that they meet the requirements set by the programme. After the application documents have been processed at UAF, they will be sent to the university. We ask for your patience while your application is being processed. The university will notify applicants of the admissions decision.

UAF contacted by mail few minutes ago that they recieved my transcript , however they claimed the transcript was not certified by the awarding institution, according to country specific requirement. What do i do Would UAF contact the school themselves or i would have to go back to explain that UAF said they should put the schools' official stamp on the back flap of the envelope. Before they even agreed to label the envelopes with the app number sef na big arguement. They jus made me waste #9,500.

I said it here before dat NIPOST is a very effective in sending documents. I just tracked my app now and it's already delivered. i sent it 9/12, it left Lagos 10/12, got to Helsinki via Italy to d final destination on 16/12 (7days) as seen below.

Is it registered mail that you used and how much was the cost?

Ask your questions, if it has not bn answered before, I'm sure d bosses here wud surely dignify you with an answer.

Is applying to the applied science courses still valid that one need to travel for the entrance exam(bachelor level ) in finnland or do they have somewhere in Nigeria for the exam? is it still advisable to push for an applied science university in finnland?

Another thing is I was in a commercial class while in Secondary school,and i would like to study in a university using english language,are there places that can be recommended? ( study type ; business management or international relations or any course that a commercial student can do.) if there are links i will read up on them

Also, is it only in applied science schools they have courses in English or are there other universities where one can study bachelor in English?

About my waec certificate i got a lower grade in economics and i would like to study business administration, does this count to my chance of getting a course in this line?

All these questions would surely have answers on the application page of ur intended course of study, the entry requirements would be clearly written and exceptions included too. As for universities having UG courses in English, www.studyinfo.fi website lists all the schools (polytechnics and Universities) having UG and PG courses in English.

My advice
Start the application process by searching for your course, check the requirements and go ahead to apply. Time is far spent

Its simple, just goto www.studyinfo.fi, then type your intended course of study and you would see Universities that offers the course and their application window, you then click on it click on fill in application, at that point ur email would be requested, make sure its a valid and working email address, cus ur login link would be sent there. Once u do dt , u wud b gud to go.

Good day fellow nlers, i appreciate ur guidance n suggestions, my sch alredi sent my transcript , all d four envelopes had d sch name inscribed on it with particular application number peculiar to each envelope, overall bigger envelope was addressed to UAF. Oda notarised docs wud be sent by me tru DHL next week. I op im still on track.

Hello bosses in the house(Dahonestboss and others currently in Finland), i have applied to four different schools for masters studies starting in autumn 2016, all my documents is ready, just needed to go to my school tomorrow and explain to them how they would mail the transcript, when i first applied for the transcript i wrote the four schools(the four schs falls under UAF) as recipient of the transcript, however while filling application i realised i have to send all my documents to UAF in Helsinki. I would be in my school to give them go ahead to mail the transcript.
MY QUESTION
Since there are four schools with four different application numbers, would i instruct them to put four different transcripts of academic records in four different envelopes and put the four envelopes in a single bigger envelope that would now be addressed to UAF, since d application requirements of each school is different.
how should the transcript be packaged and sent?

though i v nt tried it bt i believe it covers all schools in Finland since itz d Fin high school authority dat is collecting d fee nt UAF. just try it by applying to different schools with same email. if d app requests a fee, u can quit d app.

The application fee covers all applications you apply for in the same semester ,so far you use the same email address you used at first.i.e If you started d application with naijagobeta@africa.com and ur 100euros was deducted and u started d process u applied for MSc in Computer engineering in University of Helsinki for autumn 2016, after submitting that u can apply for other msc programs to the limit of Msc programs u can apply to for d same autumn 2016, u wont pay anoda app fee, wen undergraduate application opens in January also u can also apply for degree courses for d same autumn 2016 using the same email without paying anoda app fee. In essence your single 100euros one time payment covers all applications u wud love to submit for d same study period.

Use the free study guide British council would give you, study using baron IELTS materials then back it all all up using youtube videos too.
Just be composed for your speaking test and be attentive for the listening test.

Other documents to be submitted like degree cerificate and other docs where would that be sent to too.
