An application was done for a friend of mine in the past, we got talking lately and i was reviewing the application and requested the note.He used an agent and the agent i nowhere to be found.
My question is, how do we know how much needs to be paid, how would the payment be made etc

There was a charge back to a previous Visa fee which is fraudulent.
My take: craft a apology letter and pay the debt. Use your own bank dollar card or likes of chipper cash to pay.

If I may ask, who payed your previous Visa fee? Agent or U?

please i need help.
How does someone pay or sort an issue that says the applicant has unpaid debt to the crown.
This was the message received through a GCMS NOTE.
I would like to know how to go about this payment so as to be able to possibly reapply as it seems like if this is not sorted, re-application will still come back refused.
I would appreciate anyone who can help with good info on how to handle this.

Yes, you can walk into the nearest DHL/UPS office to you and initiate the courier. However, transmission fee is to be paid only for those that did biometrics.. So for the kids, I don't think it applies. Since they did not do biometrics.

You will need to make the payment into vfs account, extract the evidence of payment in hardcopy then add it to the envelope.

HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT (Use the second account)
Payment of Canada Visa Application Centre Service Charges and optional additional services and Government of Canada fee.

In person - By Personal Debit Card in the Canada Visa Application Centre

By Mail - You'll have to pay the fees via bank transfer payable to "CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT” and in Naira only.

If I do, how do I pay the transmission fee since I initially did biometrics in lagos...
Also, my two kids didn't do biometrics, would I make any payment extra for them too.

Loool, it can only give you access to some few places, like Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and the likes, although it’s also a powerful visa but not as powerful as a Schengen, UK or USA.

Also a Canadian Visa can be used to enter the UK when you are on a transit to Canada, you can request for a 24-hour maximum at the Heathrow Airport. (Must hold the boarding pass for the onward flight, Onward flight must be within 24 hours (on the same day or the next day before midnight)
Granting the 24-hour entry is at the sole discretion of the immigration officer).

Hello all, I thought to encourage all those that got BVL and waiting on PPR like me.
I applied 2022 April to visit a friend with my family,we were just a family of 3 last year when we applied but I have a 7month old now.
BLV dropped for the 3 of us on May 6 2023
I had notified IRCC about the new born sometimes in Nov 2022 through Webform.
I sent another webform last week to ask if I could send in my new born's application and I got a reply same day asking me to go ahead.
Meanwhile,I had tracked our own applications after BVL dropped and I saw the visa numbers but yet no PPR yet.
To cut the story short, I applied for the new born on 21st May 2023 and today 23rd of may 2023I got a notification for PPR for the baby.
Amazingly,the 2022 application was so that my wife could give birth to the same baby in canada but PPR didn't come till now but the baby we were planning for got PPR before us.
I pray for as many still trusting God for PPR, God will come through for you all and our expectations will not be cut off.(Amen)

PPR landed this morning for myself, wife and daughter.

PPR may 26.
I received PPR for my (second child)7month baby on May 23(applied 21 May 2023).
It's been a long journey but God be praised.
I'll like to thank everyone who has contributed one way or the other on this forum.
I followed every information shared here back to back and I used most of them till this morning.
I sent an emotional email this morning at about 9am and by 11.23am PPR dropped.(I used some words I got here).
I like to special thank @olasubomy for all the encouragement and words of wisdom he privately shared with me and shared on this forum too.
To those still waiting,it's coming and you will witness it in good health.

Applied February, I did not get BVL yet but biometrics reads 'completed' on tracker. I was previously denied application in 2018. Biometrics still valid when I queried it on system.

In between, I sent an email, in their response I was told the VO has verified all documents I submitted.

Please I need help on how to successfully use the tracker,I signed in the GCkey already but I haven't gone passed where it says I should select institution which I did but not taking me further.

VFS do not do physical passport submission & collection. You would need to use a courier. Pay for two way courier.

From my little experience, a child cannot have access to PTA. ONLY ADULTS HAVE ACCESSS TO IT!
You'll also need to show your bank a copy of your return ticket and visa to get PTA.
You may need to contact your bank early enough like 2wks b4 travel date for the process.
Just walk into any of the banks you have account with and tell them you want PTA and they'll tell you what you need to do...the naira equivalent must be available in your account.

For those that recently travelled with kids (or are yet to travel), are kids below 18 years entitled to PTA please?

Did you all book a return ticket to benefit the PTA from the bank?

How easy is it to get dollars from the bank currently? Is it even guaranteed for the adult?

Or is there another means of money exchange that will pay more instead of paying two way tickets for two people and getting only $4k at bank rate.
I've heard of lemonade, but does it present a better option? Or did you all just resort to black market for dollars?

@AfonjaBoston everyone knows that people seeking emergency date are mostly likely the ones with pregnancy complications or risks.
My doctor in Nigeria has written and if you had read what I wrote well, you would have seen that I was shocked to read what the doctor abroad has said about signing off, it is very obvious I don't feel comfortable with it hence why I came here to seek help.
I also feel you should be mindful of how you respond to people here, we have people who have have had up to 1-10 miscarriages and have genuine reasons for seeking medical care abroad.......today alone, your responses to people on this page isn't encouraging and I'm referring to your earlier comment to the lady who had giving birth twice in the US.

People are going through alot and have gone through alot about child birth and the only thing you should be able to offer is encouraging words or don't respond if you don't have any.
Truly, people should start using their head

Good evening,

If he's a Canadian citizen I don't think sending additional message to IRCC explaining his absence (in June) will make any significant difference, the letter of invitation he has sent to you if detailed and citizenship ID amongst other documents should be enough.

Moreover, they can easily verify his information and contact him via email IF they need to.

But hey, follow your instincts who knows

2) If the application is still within processing time then you should be patient until first week of June thereabout if nothing has moved then you can start sending them a message.
