Those based in ph, cross river and other areas will benefit from it

You can put up the info

My understanding was that only at lagos or abj you could get this police clearance

If you can get it in ph in addition to medical exam at the prime medical consultants.

One does not need to go to lagos for pcc

needful: its very popular in port Harcourt. anyway, am here to direct anybody that is in need of it here to avoid scam.

LOL!!!!

skyfall: @OP

While I agree that you may actually marry and survive on your salary until things (hopefully) get better, Nairaland is not where to find the kind of wife you need. Your salary is not enough to buy a mobile phone or human hair for the kind of girls that are mostly here. The other type of women here are those desperados (who are probably much older than you) and will marry virtually any available man. You obviously don't want that.

Only a woman who knows you well can understand your situation and agree to marry you. I know it's hard to find a good woman but talk to friends, responsible women that you know, your church members etc. Someone will definitely introduce you to a lady someday. But you also have to be patient. Don't set any deadline - you risk marrying the wrong person that way. 31 is not too old at all. Try and develop yourself while waiting; maybe learn a skill. Not all of us will get good salary jobs. I wish you the best.

Making gun ownership fundamental is the bane of logic and good judgement

superbly put ....

dabossman: My kid brother was born and grew up in the UK with my folks who also live there. He is not disrespectful. Reason? You can't live with my dad and not have manners or learn to respect your parents. Besides, what is the essence of respecting your parents only to tell the rest of the society to go screw themselves. That is why our society is the way it is. Kids are saints at home but a menace in the society. Your kids caring for you in your old age is dependent on the amount of time you also devote to them in their formative years. If you abandon them to go chase after money, they will do the same when they have their own families, irrespective of their geographic location.

Good man..

okejji: I have discovered a woman working in the central criminal Registry at Lagbon, Lagos. you dont need to be in Lagos for our police certificate to be done. just contact her she will send you the form to your email, then you can do the finger print and send her your details through courier. She will do it within a day and send it back to you. She just did it for my friend very easy.
her name is Mrs Modupe Jegede (FINGERPRINT ANALYST), Phone no. 08033671031, 08076652645. Her charge is relatively very cheap.
She charges b/w 4k - 6k if you are present in her office. but those outside lagos she might collect more because of courier. others collect upto 18k or even more. so beware. pls tell her that Okoro informed you. so that it can be done with ease and cheap

Very good points

Don't worry its only a matter of time when children here will leave their old folks to be on their own

Now parents die with their kids living abroad

Who cares about in laws

The prevailing ethos is me n my spouse

You are perfectly right

Thousands die for ordinarily avoidable events and we all move on

Yet we say we have values undecided undecided

Our elders are not paid their pensions on time or at all and we say we respect the elders

Bros.. make i no start to burst for hia

dabossman: And you think the majority of our kids here are well-behaved with good character and orientation? That we bow or prostrate to greet our elders, call them sir/ma and so on does not mean we are cultured when the average Nigerian youth (16-40) doesn't know that he should slow down for pedestrians at a zebra crossing. They will respectfully insult your for correcting them when they do wrong. Many are chasing riches without any plans to work hard for it. Majority are so lawless.

Those values we cherished are long gone. Was in a BRT bus sometime last year and kids in school uniform wouldn't even stand for an old woman. I had to give up my seat for her. They just went on chatting.
