Distinctions among the three Professions Marketing is the intermediary function between product development and sales. It is comprised of many facets and activities. A Marketer’s job thus will be to take a “generic” product or service and associate that product or service with a brand name. A sales professional is someone who sells products or services to potential customers. They seek to solve prospects’ challenges through the products they sell. Most great sales professionals usually have strong selling and communication skills. Business Development is a combination of strategic analysis, marketing, and sales. It involves everything from the development of products and services, to the creation of marketing strategies, to the generation of sales leads, to negotiating and closing deals. The job of a Business Developer is typically to identify new business opportunities – new markets, new partnerships with other businesses, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets. And then to go out and exploit those opportunities to bring in more revenue. Thus, the field can be referred to as a cousin of marketing and sales. |
Introduction Marketing, Sales and Business Development is perhaps the most popular job field as long as the Nigerian Labour Workforce is concerned. Many graduates who studied other unrelated courses are sometimes pushed to take up a position in the field when they can’t get a job in the desired area of interest. This does not mean the job field is undesirable in itself, at least not by everybody. Some of the Marketers, Sales Representatives, and Business Developers, especially for those who work as field officers, are faced with a fierce working environment and sometimes very high target. However, this is only true for the vast majority. There are still yet some of them who have good working conditions, are well paid, and well satisfied with their jobs. To be précised, some individuals so love the marketing field that they could go as far as telling you that, that is what they are born for. Marketing is just great. Although many persons use the three titles interchangeably, however, when looking at it technically, there is actually a bit of some difference in what each is about and what really constitutes their core activities. Pursuing a career in any of them can take you to several different directions. But first, let’s draw the line on what each of them actually is about. source: https://www.mysalaryscale.com/blog/salaries-marketers-sales-representatives-business-developers-nigeria/

Traders are the major cause of the problem. |
Let's look beyond the government..... This post is to actually draw to our consciousness the fact that we can also help our environment. Now look at the location where traders are plying their trade, trust me they all dump their wastes into the gutters

Just before the rain it was all beautiful

Port Harcourt is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Nigeria, the state Government on assumption of Office in the year 2015 commissioned the Operation No Pothole, really that changed the face of Port Harcourt. After that the state Government kept beautifying the state and once again indigenes could beat their chest and call Port Harcourt the Garden City. Straight to the point, I was at the popular Mile One modern market today and it started raining, what I saw today was mouth dropping.

Tiv Dedoo. I like the Tiv language, the Tiv dance is one of a kind. Finally Tivs are the most welcoming tribe in Nigeria to the best of my knowledge. |
My sympathy goes to those that would read this and still insist on traveling out through Libya. Back to the story, how possible is it for a woman's womb to fall out and still be pushed back? |
