Congratulations on your Ielts. You did well.

While we wait for those who have encountered the same issue as this to respond, perhaps you can send ICES an email icesinfo@bcit.ca letting them know you want to add the courier option, ensure the email contains your application number and other personal details so they can check your file.

I'll do that. Thank you.

Please guys when I registered with ICES I paid only 200$ but after I came across the info on the thread I realized I should have paid 275$ instead to include delivery. How do I rectify this?

That aside IELTS result first attempt

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread about the exam. I was really scared (most probably what affected my speaking, I can't remember 70% of what I said) but I'm grateful to God.

This same issue has been asked from me and honestly, it beats me. I will suggest the same body evaluate it to avoid story that touch. This only applies to 2 or more certificates.
cc @pimi @YTP

Okay then. Thanks

It is not complusory, you can combine the reports from different bodies.

Alright thanks!

Hello house, please is it compulsory that my certificates are evaluated by only one body?
For example if I've assesed one by ICES previously, can I assess another by WES?

Hahaha... People shaa... It may be ok to make little change from stuffs like these but it's suspicious if u keep changing ur moniker. Only God knows how many times he's changed it. It's only four we can count.

My own concern is why he's changing moniker upandown like diaper. He actually did after the incident prolly..Why??
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Pimi: 12:50pm On Mar 06, 2019
You can begin your journey now if you won't be 30 soon cos you'll loose some point when you become 30. But if you will still be 29 for a while then u can begin your journey if you feel u can max out IELTS. Since Wes is relly fast with evaluating foreign degrees you can decide to begin now or after your Mba. It's entirely up to you. You can choose whichever is most convenient

No I didn’t state it, I didn’t think it was necessary, I could be wrong. Cambridge IELTS 1-13, then all of jays videos on YouTube, there was a site I used for writing, it really helped, I can’t remember but I found it on google.

Alright thank you.

It’s PPR!!!!!!

IELTS: 28th July 2018
MOD 1st and only. God was faithful. LRSW 9,8.5,8,7.5 .

EMPLOYMENT:
My application wasn’t perfect at all. There were difficulties, it gave me sleepless nights.

My 1st and current employment was with my Dad’s company, and I was paid in cash. So I had him draft a letter stating both jobs in IRCC format and another letter stating my current salary and that I was paid cash, I also explained it in my LOE. He signed both letters as the MD of the company.
I believe this was really smooth too because we were in the same line of business. Pharmacy.

Wow!Big congratulations!

?

What major practice material did you use for your ielts abeg?

Please does anyone know if CIC goes as far as searching for the owner of a business. This is because I work in my family business. I am actually a staff because I am on salary and all. I just did not say anywhere that it is a family business.

Hi @JudahO have you gotten a way about this I'd love to know how one can go about it.

You can certainly write Acca with your BSc biology

You'll get zero exemptions but you can write

Alright thanks.

I suggest ACCA, write the fist 3 papers CBT and you'll get a diploma. It's the faster compared to what other people have suggested. And it should take less than N200k and less than 3 months for this plan. Then you can claim 2 or more certificates.

But you need to reconfirm that WES still takes the acca diploma and BSc as 2 or more cert.

Please about this ACCA can anybody write it? I have a BSc in biology only and presently I teach biology but I really need a two or more certificate option. Will this fly? Can I proceed with ACCA ?

Which one is advisable for someone that want to get a work permit while studying. A year Master or two year Master programme?

You can get a work permit while studying either a one or two year masters program. I feel the main issue is how to convince the VO to approve your application about any program you go for.

Had my interview today. To be honest with you all ehn. I cannot comprehend all I said to get the white paper. It was like something else assumed me. I'm saying because I can't give a transcript and I know I learnt a lot from reading people's transcript.

It was my first time though.
It was an MBA program with focus on financial management and investment.
Lincoln university California is the school.

But my advice is simple. Know well about the course you are going for. Please don't cram.

Thank you nairalanders.. You groomed me!!!

Congratulations!

My application has been approved. Here's my timeline, and a summary of the documents I submitted.

Online application
Application: 24th of July
Biometric: 25th July
Biometric receipt confirmation: 27th July.
I sent several messages to London, but kept getting 'your application is actively being reviewed'
Sent London immigration the 4th message on 15th December, exactly 20 weeks, 1 day after submission.
Lagos responded on the 17th saying 'my application is being reviewed' 13 minutes after my application was updated to 'medical requested'
Medicals: 21st December
Passport Request/Medical passed: 28th December - 1 week after medical was done.
Passport submission: 28th December
I kept seeing 'no record found' when trying to track my Passport on vfsglobal's website.
Sent Lagos immigration an email on 3rd of January telling them my school resumed on that day.
Correspondence Letter/Application status updated to 'approved': 5th January.
I'll be going to get my passport soon.

Documents submitted:
SOP, BSc. transcript, school fees tuition receipt, sponsor's account statement for 6 months (can't remember how much he had, and he lives in Canada), my bank statement for 1 month, financial support letter from my supervisor, my mum's land deed, acceptance letter.
PS: if there are other documents, I can't remember them now.

Note: I applied twice in 2017 and was denied.
In this application, I prayed, fasted and had an unwavering faith in God all through it all.
I can't give anyone my SOP because I don't know where these documents are right now.

School: Brandon University
Course: MELS - Masters in Environmental and Life Science.

Congratulations!
