Fahdiga:
How about when the real father of those kids have one or two similar traits like yours?
The attributes are rare (I emphasised it) and you need to see my kids. So, your probability is so minute and somehow non existent when I bring other factors which I think might not be necessary here.
Family / My Take On Paternity And DNA by pimper24: 11:46am On Jan 15, 2021
I had wondered why the issue of pertanity of children born to couple living together is generating so much ripples in recent time.
I have 3 children but they don't look exactly like me. In fact they do not have most of my physicaal attributes but 2 or 3 striking semblance known to only me.
I have a bit of a rectangular head which is a rare physical trait even in my family and I have a natural bald at the back of my head (I am very handsome, don't try me grin). All these are not noticeable cos I often wear afro.
All my kids have the bald. And with same oblong shaped head. I do not withstand filth and my sons do not spend a minute in a filthy place, they will start screaming.
The point is that there must be one or 2 significant trait or attribute that would tell you without any iota of doubt if you are the father of your babies.

Family / Re: Man Finds Out Baby Isn't His, Months After Lover Gave Birth (Photos) by pimper24: 11:21am On Jan 15, 2021
IamHeWrites:
A man with the Twitter handle @ceorashad_ is presently hurting as he found out his wife may have played a fast one on him concerning the paternity of the baby he thought was his, Igbere TV reports.

In a tweet on Wednesday, January 13, the man said he found out he might not be the father of the infant.

What made his whole announcement on Twitter dramatic was that he quoted an earlier tweet where he bought a designer bag and other items for his wife as push gifts.

The said earlier tweet was made six months ago on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, making the baby around that same age.

Family / Re: Some Damaging Words My Wife Said During A Quarrel by pimper24: 9:02pm On Jan 11, 2021
CrescentMoon:
Let me first tell you my kind of character. For you to make me angry, you have to repeat an offense more than 30 to 40 times. After each offence, I would only give you facial expression that will let you know that you offended me. And I would ensure you get the message.

So wife kept repeating same offence. I told her I don't like what she was doing. She said she would adjust, but kept repeating the same thing. When I got fed up, I tried to retaliate. My only retaliation is that I stopped being around in the house. I would leave the house very early in the morning and return late at night. I would go for business in another town and return 4 days later. She knows nothing stops me from coming home everyday from the other town because I have means of transportation. She flared up. Started calling relatives that I'm maltreating her. They asked her to say which ways I have been maltreating her...she said I'm avoiding our home. Relatives asked if I'm beating or starving her. She said no.

I know why it pained her very well. If she wants to go and urinate outside, I would go and drop her there. When she is through, she would call me and I would go and pick her up again.

She's a woman that's always settling fights for couples in the street. So, she never wanted it to be heard anywhere that we are quarelling in our home. She won't want anybody to come to our house to settle disputes. So this prolongs our fights always.

When she couldn't bear it again, she sent a message to me that goes like this: I INITIALLY DIDN'T WANT TO DIVORCE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR DISABILITY AS I PITY YOU. BUT NOW, IT'S OVER. YOU HAVE TO BEAR THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS TOWARDS ME ALL THESE YEARS. WHAT DID I HAVE TO DO WITH A JUJU DIABOLIC MAN IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.

Let me disect those words in capital letters for you. I have a disability, but you can't notice it easily until you start talking to me. She said I have to bear the consequences of my actions towards her... looking back, I have done unimaginable things to make her happy. I even saved her life when she didn't want blood transfusion from unknown persons as a result of her Christian belief not to contract demons from the blood of unknown person. Fortunately, my blood group is that of a universal donor. That means I can donate blood for anybody. Note that she had never done any noteworthy thing for me apart from giving birth to our babies. About being a juju man, I will tell you how she arrived at this: somebody was about to give birth from her family side and the baby was in breech position. She asked for advice and I told her that if I take the woman to the village my uncle will give the woman a concoction to reverse it. Her faith is against it, but because someone from her side just gave birth through CS, which almost led to the death of mother and baby, she asked me to take the woman to the village. The breech position was reversed. I'm surprised she now labelled me a juju man.

Instead of me to take her message personal, I urged her to please herself. This infuriated her the more. Instead of leaving me, she invited someone to intervene, tracked me to the second town, and it was settled there.

My problem now is that those words are still ringing in my head... someone I thought was a lover said she married me out of piety.

I can't read all the comments. Pls let her know how you feel about those words. If shes sensible, she will apologize and promise not to repeat that again. She will also want to tell you the ones you said that tore her down; apologize as well.
Watch and see changes

Please I need help on what I need to change for my reapplication. I’m considering changing my sponsor to my dad but I don’t know if that’s a good idea
Good idea; if asked why the sudden change of sponsor, tell the VO that your Dad's financial status became more stable and he decided to do the funding. Try to create a stronger tie to home by assuring what you will be doing with your degree when you return. If your present place of work can give you a study leave, go with the document.

NB: there is nothing wrong in having a relation in the US sponsor you but your answers to this became complicated. You can still maintain that your aunty agreed to fund your program without unnecessary stories. Narrate how you are related to her and establish that she's capable but try to show that you have plan to utilize the degree at home. There is also nothing wrong in saying that your dad is not of means or indisposed etc at the moment...

Please, how do I change this status?

Care to explain this in detail
Check your transcripts and the explanations are there. You have paid visit to your Aunt in Colorado and another Aunt in Minnesota is sponsoring you with your father promising to reimburse her. It is assumed that all are just immigration path for you.

MissyBA:
Hello Everyone I got denied my visa today in Lagos at 8:30 am. This was the transcript;

V.O: Good morning, where are you traveling to?

Me: Good Morning, I’m traveling to Minnesota, St Cloud State University for my masters in social work program.

V.O: okay, why St. Clouds

Me: I chose St. Clouds for two reasons. Firstly because of the amazing incentives, it offers to international students like cultural and academic scholarship of which I’m a beneficiary of and secondly because of the cultural diversity which is in line with my personal goals.

V.O: Have you ever traveled out of the country?

Me: yes I did to the US

V.O: How long did you stay

Me: 1 month on the first visit and approximately 3 months on the second

V.O: where you working or in school.

Me: I was on a summer vacation

V.O: where did you stay?

Me: Colorado with my aunt and her family who lives there

V.O: Calls the name of my sponsor (my aunt, another aunt with the same surname ) who is she, what she does, and where she stays

Me: I answered (She stays in Minnesota too) then replied that she is my aunt and she’ll be sponsoring me. She asked why not my parents and I explained that my Anty and my dad made a payment plan as he was going to reimburse her after she paid.

V.O: I won’t be issuing you the visa then she hands me a blue slip that says something about not having strong ties.

Please I need help from anyone who can help. This is my first denial on a student visa but my second generally. I already completed my fall semester online and I was hoping to resume by the 17th after an extension had been granted. Please I don’t know what to do right now, I can’t possibly defer my admission and if I reapply I don’t know how soon I can get a closer date. Please is there something I should have said or done better, do I need to change my sponsor I don’t know if that is possible.

Personally i feel your answer to why this school was very poor, no vo would issue you a visa because you chose a school mainly cos of its cultural diversity and incentives..

I was asked to upload my financial information on my school account after I just concluded applying for PhD.

The required information comprised of who is sponsoring me and how much they are willing to give etc?

My question: could this inform the admission decision (though they said its not, that its for immigration purposes so they could prepare I-20 et al ahead).?

I have emailed them telling them I am expecting funding from the school but they insisted I should upload as much finances as I have for the postgrad.

This is kind of confusing. I need honest advise here

Just a quick one guys. How many month's Bank statement is needed for the interview?
Also does the sponsor need to fill the Affidavit of Support?

Hi guys! My interview is less than a week and I just got to notice something on my i20. I got a full funding (full tuition plus monthly stipend) but my i20 shows 8 months (at that part of estimated average cost ) . It is stated in the funding letter that there'd be additional funding for teaching in the summer term so I think they didn't account for summer and I still think it should be 9 months and not 8 months. How can I take this with the VO??
the I 20 ought to have accounted to the deficit. That is to say, the school must have requested financial statement from you or your sponsor to augment this. The full funding thing is at times confusing.

But you know you aren't supposed to be asking these questions on a public forum like this where VOs do come to have break lounge and study what naija applicants/students are up to lately?.

You are in the US to study and do legalise campus job only, not to trade and run export services.
