Ever since i was small my mum have always have this unpleasant smell.she baths often but this smell have choose to not go away, i heard she got an infection after a miscarriage because we do discuss it amongst ourselves,we her children. The smell comes from her private and i dont know if she is aware of it. She baths often but after sometime the smell starts again.
She came to my house for visit and i was embarrassed when my husband passed and was asking what was stinking up the kids room, i know it was my mum but i told him something else.
She is someone that always like tying wrapper without any under and you can imagine how it is.
I dont want to embarrass but i know it has always been an issue with my dad(they have seperate room coz of this).she get angry easy too but i really have to.
Ps she has treated infection often and on but this smell is what i dont understand.doctors should help too. Why is it that the smell refuse to go away because she bathes morning and night(rule while growing up in our house)
just get her deodorants and tell her to be using it. I tried this on someone sometime. Guess what, when it finished, he got another set himself and continues.

cookiejar99: So i noticed that we have all kinds of threads but there is none for wives of permanent residents and id like to open this thread so that people going through the process can share their experience. Id be getting married later this year and my fiance is a permanent resident, i heard it takes two years to get a visa.please anybody in the house with reliable information should please post it here... Thanks guys
I have just one naive question. What happens to children born before the marriage. I am a permanent resident but before traveling I have kids with my fiancee. I cam home last December to celebrate marriage. Now I want her to join me with the kids.
This is true. They have different databases but the USA and Canada share data. It's quite complex though for future reasons such as wanting to go on vacation to the UK with your family.
on your last point someone suggested that I got a new marriage certificate moreso when one of my children is not covered by the present one. So it will be assumed that we have been giving birth outside marriage.
I have a situation here guys and need an urgent answer. I am applying for F1 visa and currently filling the I-60 form. I have a UK visitor visa. The agent that processed the visa filled in "single" and I got to know this even after the visa was granted. She said she used documents supplied by my PA. I was in Tanzania for a program and only came in on submission. (I actually signed columns without reading through).
I am married but we gave birth to my first child 3 years before the marriage. The rest were after the marriage.
First, will my "single" status that was filled in while doing the UK visa affect my FI US visa?
Secondly, will my marriage certificate dated after my first son was born affect my F1 and or affect his/my defendant's F2 Visas? Pardon my ignorance, haven't really done so many travels before now Thanks
agwom: The Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has expelled 63 students and rusticated 13 others for one year for their involvement in various forms of examination misconduct. This is contained in a statement signed by the Director, Examination, Admissions and Records (DEAR), Amina Umar-Abdullahi and issued to newsmen in Kano on Friday.
According to her, the action followed a recommendation earlier submitted by the Senate Committee on Examinations Misconduct and Leakages approved on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at the 374th meeting of the highest decision making body of the institution. She said the expelled students included 10 from the School of Postgraduate Studies, 10 from the School of Continuing Education and seven each from the Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences and Computer Science. “However, the Faculties of Education and Management Sciences have six each and Engineering, FEES and Physical Sciences four and three, respectively. “The Faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies has two expelled students and Faculties of Communication, Allied Health Sciences and Life Sciences have the least number of affected candidates with only one student each.” She said the Senate had equally directed that 19 other students be served with warning letters for other infractions. b4nks: I guess other blogs/forum are being stereotypical too. You hate to see it but most drug lords are igbo
CNN and OGtv are not the same. It takes a professional journalist or information expert to understand this. What is sensitive in reportage most of the time have the volume of traffic as determinant.
Dear Seun and his Editors, It looks like the motive of bringing drug related offences, where igbo are complicit, to the front page of your blog is stereotypical to say the least. I have gone through your crime section and found out that other crimes especially those committed abroad involving other tribes are grossly underreported in the manner drugs and igbo boys happen here. This is getting out of hand and we are going to make a serious case out of this. This is calumny of the highest order against a people and has no justification whatever. It is not wrong yo report crime as deterrence to further commission by unscrupulous elements but this is obviously targeted against discrediting a group of people, hence ill motivated. A fellow countered me by citing example of reports on front page of scull mining and other rituals by predominantly Yorubas to establish impartiality on the part of the reports but you and I know that this has never been like the igbo drug thing and name checking and calling on Nairaland. Mr Seun, this is a kind entreaty, kindly call your editors to order or we are going to make big issues out of this. We may have to start with the mainstream media before seeking redress from appropriate quarters. Thanks
I was surprises that my boy's urine this early morning was selling like fresh indomie source. I realised that the house help has been feeding him indomie every time but does this warrant such scent in his urine ?
My house help fumes. Her kind of body odour has apparently defied all remedies. If she's in a car, you must wound down the windows because the smell emanating from her body especially when she sweats at all, will be quite stifling. I have bought all kinds of deodorants and made sure she bathes often yet this situation continues unabated. Kindly give your candid suggestion or proffer solution otherwise she may be hitting the road anytime soon. BTW, she's just a good girl but I may no longer cope with her situation.
babecode: Two Nigerian men have lost their lives after the drugs they swallowed burst during a flight from Brazil to Ethiopia. The deceased, identified as Chigozie Pascal Aniagbado and Chijioke Chidioka Ogbuefi, died before an emergency landing, despite the fact that CPR was performed on them.
According to the eyewitness; At this moment am in Ethiopian Airline from Brazil to Ethiopia my sit number is 30D which falls at the middle in between two men, they are all black skin like me, The flight was 12hrs journey, the young man at my right asked me to check the flight ✈ map to know how far we have gone which I did we already half the journey.
Then he said to me do you speak Igbo I said yes, he said he doesn’t know if he will make this journey that it seems the drugs he swallowed must have expired its stay in his system ,then my mind sink right inside my stomach, I began to shiver, he said don’t be scared it’s not in the bag is inside my body, he said I should stand and get him drinking water, I refuse standing cos I was scared he may insert something in my bag, I have to wave for the air hostess to come, she came and serve him water, he demands for food, he was given.
He became calm, a few minutes later he brought an olive oil from his bag and drink, This moment I was confused I don’t know what to do, then he started shivering /panicked & fell down that was when all the doctors in the plane assembled, questioning, asking his country & tribe ,his blood was tested for sugar samples & high blood pressure. He was able to open that he swallowed drugs ♀.
As I speak his vomiting blood, my God I don’t know what will lead a young strong man to this, as I type now his gasping out the doctors has to put him on oxygen, his progress is slow, Because of them we are having emergency landing, the pilots said no matter their crime, it’s their priority to keep them alive ♀ We couldn’t land the said country has Ebola, so we proceed while they are on oxygen. While typing, I was told they had lost the battle. May their soul rest in piece
Two of them started convulsing at the same time and they are ibos and eventually gave up the ghost. You see, just as others take this with a pinch of salt, there is a concern about the way this drug thing make front page on Nairaland with Igbo people's names being paraded daily. I am not an ethnic jingoist and neither am I an igbo man. And I dare say that the owner of this blog is generating traffic on his thing at the expense of a people's names and prestige. Pray tell, there's crime amongst other tribes in Nigeria, nay, amongst other nations in Africa and the world but he deliberately showcases calumny to keep traffic. I may be banned on this group, I don't care; check my signature I am one of the earliest members (oh, it's with the other Moniker). I have started raising this concern with our group of lawyers and with time he will hear from us.
Kindly advise on the likely cause of this discomfort causing condition in children. The blisters are smelly and occur from time to time on the gums and lips. A Google search has actually brought different conflicting results that are quite unsatisfactory.
SultanYoung: My bloda man dive in jare, because no matter how good Nigeria is America is far better than her in every ramification. My advice is put it into prayer if possible fast and as GOD to choose what will be best for you, your family, your religion and the world at large. I pray success and sound mind be with you.
Guys someone is yet again in the valley of decision. He earns 450k monthly and has three kids. Wife's business is stil not too strong. He got a PhD in the US with a full ride and a job that will bring in 1k dollars monthly on campus. Should he jump at it?
Guys I'm a fresher oh. I will appreciate some guidance. I will be on F-1 visa and I m to apply for the 1-20 from the school. I am on full funding. My bank account is self funded and that's what I will use for the 1-20. Shall I use same bank account foe the F-1 visa?
Also the amount quoted to be domiciled as a requirement is in the account but it's lodged in there barely a month ago. Is there any issue with this.
Other ways I could have a hitch free beging. I will really appreciate.
I'm not so much a sexist or a misogynist but I dont think it was a good decision to have hired a woman. Thank God they confined her to hauling parcels....she doesn't look fit to ferry passengers.
She's even a hazard herself.
Imagine her piloting a bus load of conjified male corpers returning from camp and the bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Will she still say God is Good?
are corpers returning from orientation camps really sex starved. Thought most of them are wanksters
Samakus: The Enugu State Police Command says a student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), on Saturday drank a substance believed to be ‘Sniper’ insecticide in a bid to take her life.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Sunday that the student was, however, responding to treatment.
Amaraizu said that the attempted suicide happened at 8.00 a.m. on Saturday.
“The victim, Miss Chinwendu Odoh, 24, is from Enugu Ezike in Igbo-Eze North LGA and a 200 level microbiology student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
“She allegedly drank a substance believed to be ‘Sniper’ insecticide with a view to taking her life.
“Odoh was, however, promptly rushed to the Royal Cross Hospital, Nsukka, where she is being revived,’’ he said.
According to the spokesman, a full scale investigation into the incident is being carried out by the police.
“Information from some sympathisers are pointing toward depression over an unresolved issue.
“The victim is now responding to treatment in the hospital,’’ he said.
these people are too young for the realities of academic challenges in Nigeria. I am a lecture and I know this. The age bracket of the University entrants is quite alarming in recent time. In my last exam invigilation, almost thought I was standing before high school students. Its just terrible, government has to intervene in these.
Brown2Green: Ok as classes starts up this week, I'm gonna be off this thread for some time.
But I'm going to drop a few I believe will be beneficial to the future candidates.
Preparation
You should be very engaged in searching and researching about your prospective schools and programs. I did categorically say there is a school in the US that fits perfectly with your program and tatse. But most times you have to do the hard work in finding it. The Education USA says and I quote "look for schools that meets your requirements and not schools that you meet their requirements" Prepare and sit for the GRE at least. Take TOEFL/IELTS if you can(more advantageous)
NEVER go to the embassy without taking at least one standardized test. Saying "it wasn't a requirement for my program" is one of the most lazy response I have heard. Contact as many schools via the Graduate Coordinator to inquire about funding opportunities for your program and the window for application as information is very viatal in this jorney. By all means, endeavor to get some form of funding from your school. Seeing funding on your I20 makes it easy for the VO to get impressed.
The Visa
This is one of the toughest part. I have not been to the embassy before giving advice to hundreds of people on how to ace their interview. As an analyst, I had taken time to analyse over 700 transcripts from all over the place and noted some key indicators for positive or nagative Interview outcome. So it didn't come as a surprise to me when a lot of people got their Visa approval from my advice.
One thing I learnt during my cybersecurity certification classes is, "if you want to beat a hacker, think like one"
So I say this.. "If you want to impress the VO, think like the VO"
All the questions the VO asks is to verify the following.. 1) is this person truly interested in studies? 2) does this person have the money to cover his expenses in the US? 3) does this person have a career plan? 4) does this person have plans of returning after studies?
I noticed that the response you give in "why this school?" And "why this course" played a major role in your final decision.
In your interview you have to engage with the following...
Maintain eye contact always Anticipate the next question Be spontaneous Gesticulate Be Succinct
The VO has barely 2 minutes to decide if you're getting the Visa or not.
To close I did say.. Write all your exams on time Get your admits on time Get your funding on time Go for your interview on time ( so you can have enough time to reapply if denied or have enough time to wait if placed on AP)
See you in the US.
Peace.
I took the gre in 2015 and the score was not impressive. My school didn't request any test and I'm going for PhD.
That's a whole lots. Hope you have enough savings to cater for everyone? Though depends school, you need extra 3,000$ for each of your family members. some schools have higher requirement, some lower.
If I'm able to get enough extra money, can we regularise our stay after the my program? And with the funding from the school, it's clear I can't work outside the school. Cam my wife work?
Guys I have full funding for a PhD I'm assistantship. My issue is that I want to go with my family to the US. I have 3 kids and MY wife making 4. I am wondering what the prospects will be in terms of settlement and living. And also how much cash will be enough for this.
cutegentility: In the time past, I don't believe in reading, especially books relating principles and morals.
But now, I see that the more you read the more you will be able to see!!!
Those men have experienced what life really is: they understand underlying principles that cause success, good habit etc.
And the fact remains that we cannot live to experience all but rather to learn from their mistakes, challenges as well as their experiences because they have all been there.
I come across this book by Brian Tracy - The Power of Self Discipline
and also:
The Rule of love by Richard Templar.
To say the least: "The reading of these books help shaped my life.".
I will also like to read Richdad and poordad someday.

FeedMeNews: The Comptroller General (CG) of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede, has said the enhanced e-passport is acceptable and valid for entering all countries.
He gave the reassurance in a statement by NIS Public Relations Officer, Mr Sunday James, in Abuja on Thursday.
Igbere TV reports that the CG’s reassurance is coming against the backdrop of the recent problem on the e-Passport with the authority of the United Arab Emirate(UAE).
“The recent problem on the e-Passport with the authority of the United Arab Emirate(UAE) has been resolved..
”I will like to seize this opportunity to thank both the Ambassadors of UAE and Nigeria for resolving the issue.
“In view of the above, Nigerians are encouraged to get their National Identity Number (NIN) and ensure that the information tallies with the one on their Passports.
“The uniformity of the NIN information and that of the 10-year validity Passport is to ensure one identity which is a major feature of the new enhanced e-Passport,” Babandede said.
