Prison awaits you |
You seem to do better than most of the prophets of doom, all they see is doom and gloom. Cc Seun front page pls |
Can I have the link to the post I’d love to read it |
You heard it in the bush? Isn’t that where you, Obi and others belong? Cave men lol |
Kobonaire4:I can bet with my life that Obi will not win up to 4 states in Nigeria. Take that to the bank. If he wins Anambra i will take it as a miracle |
Waiting to drink the tears of obedients crew when results start trickling in. What a reckless optimism to think PO will win in this election 😂😂😂😂 |
AKA very much supported the xenophobic attack on other African nationals in SA, especially Nigerians and he voiced his support loudly. Death must come to everybody. RIP still |
Outside Nigeria like UK you will get punished if not outright sack if you are caught using your phone during work hours. Things like this only happen in Nigeria without caution one major reason customer service is poor. |
Balo7leke:How does this work? You choose a design and they build it for you? |
Thanks guys, I’ve taken my time to read all the comments. Although I have decided to wait until after election before I commence with the project. Going by my budget and prices of building materials, I have decided to scale down to just 15 rooms and maybe a pool bar too. I have decided to do away with the even hall I have also spoken with some professionals here on NL who I think can handle the project. Once I commence the project I plan on posting updates here on this thread. I hope I get a good headway by so doing. I must say I have read one or two comments with ideas on how to save cost. |
Look at their daddy GO dinning and whinning with creme de la crème of the society.Let him be fooling the congregation and you stay there and remain fool. Fools them |
According to the Ògùn State Government/Governor, the new " Ògùn chieftaincy laws is to do away with archiac practices in the selection, installation and burial of Obas." There will no longer be need for the ancient practices concerning the RITES of burials and ascension for a departed Oba and the incoming Oba respectively. We will probably be crowning our Obas in churches now or turban them in Mosques according to the faith of the Oba. This is where we are now. Our gullible, docile, shallow-thinking, short-sighted and irresponsibly complacent Yoruba LEADERS AND CITIZENS are being set-up for the final phases of the complete emasculation and subjugation of a great race of ancient civilizations. What the British tried to do, failed at, and eventually avoided for centuries is now about to come to reality. Right under our noses, the remains of the Soun Ogbomoso and Olubadan of Ibadan were carried in public and tabled before MUSLIM CLERICS for ISLAMIC RITES of burial. Unprecedented ABOMINATION. But they will tell you that "we are now civilized". Soon, at the rate they are going, our OBAS will be "ordained" and installed in the churches or TURBANED in the Mosques. Our people are heavily influenced by CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM CULTURES from Europe and Arabia. In that Europe, they have FREEMASONS, LODGE and so many others. Occult, Cultism, Sorcery, Witch craft etc are English words In Saudi Arabia, our people go to roam about a Ka'aba, a structure whose interior they will never see. Till this day, you have people called "Alfa" who do spiritual consultations for fellow Muslims using ancient wisdom they derive from their Qu'ran. Till this day, the Jews still practice their Religion in the very ways Moses handed it over to them. Four OVER 500 YEARS these people have been in unending battles and efforts to terminate the connections of the Yorubas to their anxiety Traditional practices. They have been doing this because they know that the Yorubas hold so many ancient secrets of the earth and it will be difficult to defeat them without first distracting them from their NATURAL SPIRITUAL ESSENCE. They suddenly blew up Pentecostalism in our faces in the middle 1980s, everywhere turned into churches and at about the same time the Wahhabism of Islam was mightily encouraged and before we knew it our daughters and sisters were wearing Hijab and our brothers and sons were growing beards and wearing trousers like things I don't want to describe. Our People are heavily bombarded with RELIGION from both sides of Islam and Christain, very much harder than any other people in any other sections of the country! Why is there such a propensity of Pentecostalism and Islam in Yoruba land all of a sudden? How did we suddenly get caught in the web of Wahhabism? Havent our people been practicing this same Islam for centuries? Haven't we practiced this same Christianity for several decades prior to the sudden elevation of American brands of Pentecostalism How come we weren't suspicious that something was going on ?Now, OONIRISA is trailing his EVANGELIST wife to Chirstains Crusades up and down. A man who calls himself OLUWO wears turban all over the place, he will tell you he is a Muslim. Osile Oke-Ona Egba in Abeokuta will be seen dancing in Pansheke with his Three wives, he has a full fledge CHRISTIAN Missionary Movement that he leads. An OBA was shot to death in Ondo. One Oba was killed on the Road in a Motor accident in Ijebu. In Lagos, a first class Oba was abducted right inside his place. Oba of lagos was practically chased out of his palace. We now have an Aare Onakakanfo who is seen in C&S and Celestial Churches rolling all over the flow. In Lagos now, very systematically, the OBASHIP stool is now being taken over by NURTW members. The Alaafin Oyo will pack his Seven wives, board aircraft, land in the UK and then go to the gates of Buckingham Palace and Pacadily square to take pictures!!!! So many strange things now happen and we are still not observant and worried!!! While the MUSLIM HAUSA-FULANIS are cementing their CULTURE, TRADITIONS AND RELIGION roundabout us on our own Ancestral, they are cunningly pushing our TRADITIONAL AND POLITICAL LEADERS to move us away from our ancient practices. These ancient practices are the things that have kept them in morbid fear and awe of the Yorubas aside our Intellectual capacities. It is the thing that put the fear of God and Allah in the Seriki Fulani of Igangan when Sunday Igboho confronted him. That is what they are trying to destroy totally. They don't even have much work to do in that respect because we ourselves are doing a fantastic job of it for them. We are already a generation of Yorubas who hate ourselves, who destest our own language, who feel embarrassed being connected to our roots and ancestors, a lost People. We should just thank our stars that there are still a few people who had the sense to keep transmiting these powers and wisdom through the centuries. We still have people who have not become so foolish like many of us who are already irreedeably lost. At the end, as our Elders say: The goat wandering all over the town will eventually realise that it is the light provided by the same ancient lamp that will lead him back into and through the house. It is a matter of time. © Adedamola Adetayo 21st January 2022 |
Sirseedorf:You might not know the importance of these people you call AGBERO until - God forbid - there is an intended and a concerted effort by outsiders/enemies eg Fulani herdsmen to overrun Yoruba land. You remember when Buhari govt asked every Nigerian with a gun to submit same to the police station, leaving everyone to the mercy of the mad Fulani herdsmen? Imagine there was a large scale invasion of Yoruba land by herdsmen at that time, who do you think will be the first respondence of defense? Who will come out to defend and protect you and yours? These people are strategically allowed to float freely in SW states as a defense mechanism albeit in the underground world and unofficially. And they are purposely set up for such by BAT, although people fail to see this but that is one major reason they are allowed to float. Sure they constitute nuisance with their activities, I will advise you take it as a necessary evil which is resultant of the system in play in a country like Nigeria. |
descarado:Oh now I can see where you are coming from… you are too eager to make a feminist point you looked past the fact that we are on the same side. Maybe you should go back, read my posts to get a better understanding of my point. Besides I thought you were a dude. |
FahBuLous:In your opinion, how much do you think will be enough? |
descarado:Are you being sarcastic? My wife usually clear the table when I’m done eating and I don’t have to do more than taking my plate to the kitchen if I have to as I don’t have kids yet. C’mon these are no big deal. Okay check this out… in most eatery in UK people usually clear their table after themselves when done eating. Not like you are mandated or expected to do it most do it out of curtsy. You can confirm from anybody you know living in Uk. Now to mess with your brain I actually do the dishes sometimes but wifey do it most times. |
muyico:Yea sure. Sometimes land are far more expensive than the building especially if the building is for residential purpose. I’m sure you know this. |
ishadfurnitures:Thanks check your email |
jimmychang:lol I get you. We have had issues on this a couple of times and sure enough there are times she just have to go market like when I don’t have access to the car and she usually don’t complain. My only problem is she spent more buying stuffs than I do cos she’s not good at haggling prices and that pisses me off. |
ishadfurnitures:Good. Will be expecting to hear from you |
habsydiamond:Actually I’m willing to work around my budget. If 60m won’t be enough for 20 rooms and event hall I can do away with the hall and cut short on the numbers of rooms if need be but i need to be sure of what I’m doing first. |
ishadfurnitures:Thanks unfortunately I am not with an internet enabled phone at the moment. I lost my phone. If you can pls reach me on my email addy: emini_akin@yahoo.com we can start from there. |
jimmychang:Does it actually matter? I really don’t see anything unusual in all of these really. One thing I hate and won’t do when she’s around is sweeping and dishes. Not like I can’t do it I just hate it. Those I like doing I do without being forced. |
Ezemarcel:Are you an engineer? Have you done similar project before? |
Ezemarcel:I see people saying 60m isn’t enough. I am pretty sure 50m or a little less will adequately stand the building to roofing level according to my findings. |
money121:Actually I know how to haggle prices well more than my wife. She usually feel uncomfortable around me doing the price bargain. |
No ish in this. I’m the one mostly doing the buying of foodstuffs cos my wife can’t drive. I do the cooking too a lot of the times cos I love cooking while my wife sits watching tv sometimes I don’t think there’s an issue with this at all. |
Ezemarcel:What in the world!!! lol that’s over killing it bro. Can you pls give detailed explanation on how you came about this price? |
I am looking at investing in hospitality business but I’m not sure if 60Million naira will be adequate to erect a 20 room hotel and event hall with a capacity of about 500 people max. Cause of the paucity of funds, I’m looking to make it a single story building such that hotel will be on the ground floor while the top floor will hold the event hall. Engineers in the house do you think this amount will be enough to achieve this? Pls let’s have your expert opinion on this. Thanks in advance. |
AldrichAmes:Spot on. You nailed it quite succinctly. These indomie generation as they call them don’t read. They don’t know the political history of Nigeria else no Yoruba person will think to vote Obi over BAT. |
