SA Goddess: These so-called Christians are always so judgemental and think their beliefs are superior to everyone else'. . . . . .most are so narrow-minded and will wield the Bible whenever a discussion gets too heavy for them, surely the Bible is not the only book of reference. There is freedom of association in this world and if one chooses religion, great for them but let others BE! Where do you even come from? You don't type like you even believe in your keyboard |

Even some people who called them selves muslims and christians dnt follow the wordings of their religion and most will have doubt abt the existence of God bt they knw if they voice it out, they may be seen as bad people int their society. And the one saying atheist are man-lover have you come across one? There is no where you cnt find man-lover in all religions, dnt be that barbaric! Atheist live there live so live yours, and yes i cn marry an atheist bt the only push-back will be the relative who wnt welcome the idea,bt who cares. Goldieluks: How can you be in this life without believing that this earth was created by a superior being? A woman gave birth to you,you grow up obviously and decide on your own, that this world was created by itself, see how foolish? If you can tell me the exact time you fall asleep, each day, then i'd consider your religion as sensible.Am not coming across as over-religious, am just surprise at the fact that some group of people, whom are so scared of the Bible and its commandments,so scared of hell fire, decides to become ignorant and keep encouraging themselves that there is no God,did you create yourself??Oh science did huh? Scared of hell fire?? They've got no hell fire to believe in too, Empty brains with scientific dependence. |

harakiri: Defensive bigots? G.A.Y people? What have these got to do with Atheism? Let me define Atheism in the simplest way i can and hope you can grasp the simplicity of it's meaning :
ATHEISM IS THE DISBELIEF IN RELIGION! ! !
It's that simple. It's not a religion because it does not dwell on faith in the supernatural. There is no "sacred" Atheist book. There are no Atheist "worshipers". They are just people who DON'T believe in religion. What on earth is so hard about that to grasp? How does that relate with g.a.y rights groups? And you're supposed to be educated. A simpler definition would have helped because i wonder how he will comprehend this your grammer 'An atheist is a person who does not believe that any gods exist' |

Gbawe: Precisely. For how bad things have gotten, blind optimism is highly unhelpful and ,in fact, a big part of the problem for Nigeria. We need deliberate actions that have the highest chance of bearing success. We need the type of sincere actions that would see a character like Femi Falana as our AGF and someone in the mould of Col. Umar as EFCC Boss. In so far as we continue to gain the type of AGF and EFCC boss (Aondoakaa and Waziri) under which Ibori was cleared of over a 100 charges of corruption why should any Nigerian , without a memory deficit, be optimistic things would be different this time around? Is it not the same old rancid wine in a new bottle? Must we continue to do things the same way while expecting a different outcome? Have we not been down this road only recently when Yar Adua declared "zero tolerance on corruption" only for him to go for the most corrupt individual as AGF in the shame of 'Voltro' Aondokaa? If Okonjo Iweala is serious then she will start from the faces of corruption staring back at her during FEC meetings.

Here is what you to do to help arrest the bastard: 1. Look people for semblance of Arewa features; 2. Ask people you suspect if they are Mamman. Ex: sir, are you Mamman Nur? 3. If a positive response is obtained you tell the mugu to lay on the ground and not move. Look around for any goat or ragon on a rope leash. Free the animal but use the rope to tie Mamman's hands behind his back. 4. Call police or sss and tell them to drop your reward off first and then come get Mamman. 5. If you don't get your drop off then feel free to call Boko Haram. Tell them to negotiate with you for release of the murderer. 6. If guilty conscience bother you about setting him free, then go knock in the neighborhood and borrow a dagger. Say Allahu Akbar and slaughter Mamman. Then dismember him for parts and find a buyer in your local market that need transplant with the heart of a terrorist. If all else fail, take picture of Mamman Nur and share with us so one of the brave hearts in NL can do this job. Good luck![/quote]have you really made any sense Why are children loitering here and there this days. Men should caution them with strokes of bulala mehn.smh |

Gbawe: Pragmatists have no choice. Only dreamers , especially given how Nigerians have historically been 419ned mercilessly, will take leadership utterances seriously when nothing is in place to show things will be different. Did you not see all the previous antics of Adoke Bello yet Jonathan , amazingly, still saw it fit to bring him back as AGF ? Let me jog your memory. Halliburton? "we can't prosecute" a paedophile Yerima ? Teslim Folarin in combo with Ringim?
I ask you again ; Who will Okonjo Iweala prosecute her corruption "war" with? Is she now a do-it-alone supercop as well or will sensible and realistic folks conclude that , to achieve success, Okonjo Iweala actually needs ultra-dedicated and principled men and women of proven integrity , in the right positions (EFCC, ICPC, NPF, AGF), who can turn down $15 million bribe when "corruption fights back"? I am sorry , but I remain highly sceptical while Okonjo Iweala only has Adoke, Waziri , Ringim et al to work with . When even ultra dedicated and upright folks will struggle how will a bunch of complicit corrupt "voltrons" fight corruption effectively in the most Corrupt Nation on earth? Is Revolution really necessary |

He is the president and its expected that he makes though decisions. if he cant make such he should simply resign and go back to his village. ' 'Then give me access to all the classified info GEJ has on security issues afterwhich i will give u specifics' Thats exactly the point. You and I dont have those infos to judge so hard and harsh. What if those info's states that its wise to lay low for now? Leadership in this 21st century has to do with alotta things and not just to flex muscles. Obama had same issue some time ago that even the almighty Americans said he 'lacked military experience' but he was subtle as a leader and won the greatest war in American history. I have being a leader at different levels before and one thing i have learnt is that many expectation are placed on leaders which, criticisms, conclusions and other variables are reached by the people you lead when they is a crisis. You cannot predict the outcome of your decisions if you follow what people say or think except for you following your heart. |

Wallie: Nigerians could have worked in “building” the satellite. There are millions of lines of codes that have to be written for the different modules that make up the satellite. I have zero doubt that the satellite was “designed” by the British and it is probably similar to other satellites that they have built in the past. Most of the knowledge required to build such a satellite are acquired on the job. All you need is an engineer that you can give specific instructions (specification) to for implementation.
The picture referenced earlier showed a wafer processing facility that is usually manned by trained technicians (not engineers). The engineers do most of the design work and the technicians implement the design.
What the Nigerians did could have been as simple as screwing different modules together and collecting test data but it could also be complex as analyzing data and designing specific modules. Either way, you can easily train the “right” person to build the satellite.
People even build satellite as a hobby! http://www.hobbyspace.com/SatBuilding/ I like it when men that knows stuffz brag about it. Nice one bro, this is just a detailed explanation to how the Nigerian engineers might have contributed to its building process. |
