The Governors have target or plan of how to develop the geographical location they are assigned to govern. They also generate income internally to boost their budget, so I think the Governors with good and focal administrative skills would have more than available to transform every state. Fashola's first tenure was a dedicated one, so you could see the rapid changes. Apart from Akpabio that towed through that line of governance, no other governor in Nigeria did but we could see the clear difference in transformation of the states i have mentioned.



You dont need ten years to transform a state if you are judiciously using the available funds for its purpose. It only takes a non corrupt mind to do justice

I just imagined what could have possibly led a 2.1 English language graduate to make such unpardonable grammatical error. In order not to jump into conclusion like most people here did, i shared personal experience.Even in my own case i still got the job because the interviewer was convinced that i was suitable for the position. So, she invited me for another chat where i performed beyond her expectations.

Quite agreed, there are horrible Nigerian graduates, irrespective of the grade they graduated with. But that is not enough reason to disparage those who worked hard and merited whatever grade they were awarded.

Interviews are meant to test your competence and confidence and not nervousness. Maybe of all the people that were interviewed on that day, you were just the best amongst the non-best.


If you read my first post you could see that i mentioned 'paper qualification'. People pay for results this days so why should 2.1 or 2.2 be anything

Yeah, i lacked the confidence but NOT the knowledge. Even the interviewer observed i was only nervous. That was immediately after graduation.Subsequently, i gained confidence and the result was awesome

Nigerians are always quick to jump into conclusion. This is supposed to be an interview where even a well trained 1st class material is likely to fumble. I could remember my first interview experience. If the interviewer had asked me my name on that day i would have fumbled not to talk of spelling ENCOUNTER.

So, it could probably be interview tension. But, one cannot conclude until further investigation or insight is provided

Hence for the facts aforementioned above i believe a leader  like Gaddafi should have transformed Libya to the new heaven on earth (going via the resources he was exposed to)but instead he is busy enriching himself and his family while the generality of Libyans are just living a normal life, with this i can conclusively say the likes of OBJ and the rest are even more productive than Gaddafi (population judgment per say)

Oceanic bank took 2 years and me going back to the branch that i opened the account for me to collect my ATM card. When i got there, i had 2 ATM cards, can u imagine? Just for them to send it was the problem. I kept going every 2 weeks. No luck both in the Eleme branch in Port-Harcourt and the one near Shippers Plaza in Abuja. Thank God i have closed that account. It has served its purpose.

I went to the Oceanic bank branch in Ikoyi opposite Toyota car dealership. I went to pay my Aero ticket. This chic kept me in front of her for over 30mins while she read "Open Heavens". She was busy underlining and highlighting while i stood there. After a while, i asked her what the delay was. Without even raising her head, she told me that the site was down maybe another branch would have a good link. I raised my voice and very loudly asked her why she could not have said so earlier but kept me standing there. Seems like she realized herself and started being apologetic. What are these young ladies coming to? Seems like even basic courtesy is lacking in their dictionaries.
