Not that I support Buhari or Goodluck,

People should stop disrespecting Buhari like that. As long as you don't have any evidence yet linking him directly to BOKO HARAM, then please and please stop insinuating that he is in any way their sponsor. You are all lucky we are pseudo-anonymous on this forum.

Again for the innocent corpers that died (God rest their souls), no evidence directly connects the CPC or Buhari in such a manner as to conclude that they may have instigated violence against these innocent souls.

And as for Buhari's opinion on Jonathan's 100 days-everybody is entitled to their own opinion. it doesnt have to be similar to yours. and for attacking Buhari because of that you would be no different from those who attacked and killed those who died in the aftermath of the elections because they were perceived to share different opinions along the religious/ethnic/political affiliation lines
Sorry to say, But are you this dumbhuh

In the case of politics or terrorism sponsored, its based on 'plausible deniability'.

Agreed, corruption is the main problem of Nigeria but Alas! we dont and cannot have Only an Incorruptible or non corrupt leader as a President. Nigeria is too corrupt for just that criteria, and if you wanna talk about corruption its deeply rooted. Only Buhari cannot stand as a just man, he would surely have Cabinet members. The politricks of Nigeria is to complicated to say only a non corrupt man can do the job. You'ill need a leader that has every quality in moderation in other to intelligently survive undecided undecided undecided

Indeed. When power is one of our most serious headaches, if not the most serious given how it can impact on everything else, one has to wonder why GEJ has time to push forward a tenure extension bill while he remains silent on the legal ratification for bills that must be forcibly pushed forward , ASAP, to improve our power woes . This is why many continue to argue that GEJ is insincere and an agents of the AGIPs who have remained perennial enemies of Nigeria's progress.

Guy me sef dey wonder o. I guess they don't know the true meaning of national security or national secret. I wonder if they went to school at all.

Besides, most of what Sanusi said are not news to me. Take for instance the Yakubu guy. He was about the major obstacle to Goodluck's steeping in as the acting president when yaradua was so ill. If he wasnt so close to Yaradua and wanted to protect both his and yaradua's interest, why would he prove an obstacle to Goodluck's acension from VP to acting Presido? Also, why do you think we now have a massive influx of abokis from the north to the south particularly Lagos in recent years? Just one reason. They do not farm anymore. Agriculture, particularly crop production is now hell. No fertilizers, no loans to the farmers, no provision of healthy seeds etc etc. The bas.tard minister is in Abuja, embezelling all the funds meant for such ends.

Now to the works and housing ministry not spending 80% of their budget. Is that a surprise? Well it aint. Cos the ministry gets a budget at the beginning of every year meant for rehabilitaion of federal roads across the country. How many of such roads get rehabilitated? all we see at best  is just sand filling of pot holes on federal roads.

Corruption, believe it or not is the most lucrative business in Nigeria of today. You only need to key into the right clique and you are made. GEJ being one of the most corrupt Nigerians we have right now. Such a person is the one Nigerians elected as President. We had the opportunity to elect a honest and incorruptible man as President. One who would tackle corruption head on and by example but we said he wasnt the right one to lead us. SHAME ON NIGERIA!!! OUR SUFFER JUST DEY START!!!!
So an incorruptible man is the only drive we need from a president in Nigeria? undecided undecided undecided undecided

Besides Buhari has ruled us before, what is his report card?

Why are all the cables released in recent days frequent than others?

This is what the westerners are doing,

1)Create confusion to make their agencies look weak and vulnerable.

2) Cover up trace by affecting few of their own people(UN bombings)

3) Make the countries leadership in high positions look incompetent

4) Provoke for a division or a revolution

5) prepare for a take over and help campaign.

PoliticsWas It Buhari's Plan To Divide Nigeria? by pinkrex(op): 2:17pm On Sep 07, 2011
I have being thinking deep lately about this Boko-Haram menace and its really confusing me.

Was it in CPC's manifesto in the recent presidential election to divide Nigeria?

What does the North has to gain if Nigeria is Divided? whom will they form alliance with in the geo-political regions?

It now leaves me with an easy to crack puzzle of a westernerly motivated movement. If they succeed in splitting Nigeria into smaller 'groups' or states I think it will be easy for domination.

This is just a theory without facts or facts I dont know of but I would like to have more in-puts on this.

my opinion

- nigeria does not need more graduates, but more technical specialists and seasoned graduates (not the type we are producing now).
- govt should try to decrease the wages imbalance between technical specialists, and university graduates
- more emphasis should be placed on quality and not quantity of graduates that we have (in fact, i will advocate that the number of grad we produce should be reduced)
-instead of getting more graduates, focus more on providing jobs for the graduates you currently havee
- build more technical schools that can teach both technical and entrepreneurial  skills, and grant these grads access to capital to start up under the supervision of some other entrepreneurs!!!!  we dont need to import shoes, clothes, cd/vcd players, cups, earrings, perfumes, vases, books, juices . . . . . when we have pple who can be trained to do this

There are no 'perfect answers and perfect questions' in life.

Who are the recognized in the society? Elites of course! Every body wants to learn how to speak English and compete with you on that job or Babe you are bragging with. Majority of the people without university or formal Education I have interacted with only complained on how they are being insulted without a 'paper qualification' even with their brown collar laboured acquired wealth. It also boils down to the economic hardship of Nigerai, you cant get a good paying job without having a degree because those labour institutions discriminate alot.

I think the south is the sole problem of this country. Whenever issues of religion arises we are always docile("Sidon Look"wink and ready to accept things even at our own detriment in the name of peace not knowing we are only preparing recipe for more danger in the future. I can't imagine if it were southern sect doing all this in what ever defense and the North wouldn't have reciprocated in full measure if not excessively.

I don't understand why a country of so many ethnic backgrounds and religions should allow a certain religion to have prominence over the rest in the first instance. Why won't Boko Haram want to "Islamise" the country when we have arabic on our currency in the first place (Why shouldn't a Boko Haram guy feel entitled to Nigeria more than anyone else).

What is Arabic doing on our currency if we are not an Islamic nation? How did it get there in the first instance? We are a multi-religious country then why does the country fund Islamic pilgrimage and then Jerusalem pilgrimage just to justify funding of Islamic pilgrimage in the first instance? when Nigerians can hardly afford a piece of meal. Why are we a member of an Islamic Organization? Why are we mixing governance with religion?

These are questions we need to start asking ourselves and provide answers to if we want an end to all this senseless carnage and corruption in the name of religion. Because for all its worth right now we are an Islamic nation.
