When gunmen opened fire on innocent citizens, worshipping at a church in the state some months ago; he visited the site with a 'bullet proof' vest, why didn't he wear one while travelling in his convoy? The thing with us is that we don't know evil and wickedness. We also envy 'truth' trying to be nice. That man has spent 90 days in office doing 'teachers screening' and settling his political God fathers. My condolence is as simple as abc # I don't love those whom don't even care I exist. I live in the state and its as backward as a tortoise. I'm not heaping the blames on him, owing to a fair share of his predecessor's wickedness and illiteracy, but he is serving the same master and compounding the problems. After he was rigged in, we have no reward for our political rights that was trampled upon. 1 Like |

The killings were however fatal and inhuman, but I rever that was expected even before the war. But in honest climes, how can Awo(Nigeria) fight for Ibos(Biafran) when the two countries were at war and the Formal swearing allegiance to Nigeria? Infact, why didnt we have peaceful protests demanding for total autonomy before the war as exemplified by other minority groups who suffered from being marginalised? After the pioneering coup by the Ibo's, why did they still declared Biafra? It all boils down to 'control' right? |

My ethnic group were amongst those forced to fight the Biafran war, I read it from 'history books and mouths', at such I wont argue it like I was there. I admire Ikemba's courage but not his 'ambition'. You dont go to war with ordinary 'muscles', other pre-emtives should be put in place.. Ikemba fought with his pride, praising his 'small wisdom', he never key things in mastered ways. The Ibo brains made the first goof by adjoining the Ogoni lands which gave Nigeria 90% of her income to be ceded with their quest for total autonomy, a war which even Mossop leader Ken Saro wiwa didnt fight. In honest truth, those children and women were 'casualties' of war heaped on them by their irrational fathers. #use your brain and forget empty pride# im just a liberal spectator!! 1 Like |

That's the Nigerian palava.. We are too quick to mix 'sentiments with rational judgements'. Lets stay focused and forget subjective allusions to other peoples failings in the 'past'. Even if OBJ romanced our monetary policies more, im sure he didn't make decisions without 'favourable masses assentment'. Its another thing to introduce higher denominations, its also another thing to 'coin' existing currencies whereby those using it have 'rejected' it. Of a fact, coins can only be found in some Northern areas of the country and thats traceable to 'poverty'. |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Is A Good Farmer But A Bad Economist - Sanusi by pinkrex(m): 10:00am On Sep 12, 2012 |
The primary inflation would be the hype and increase in small purchases with N50 down. If the the lower denominations won't be coined, I see no 'big problem'. Primary rejection of the 'coins' would lead to 'available currency inflation'. |

Some people can do anything to stay 'relevant' mehn. Fact is, Even when they loot, all I can do is to 'cyber attack' them like Aunty-die-hard-antagonistic-kobojunkie, or carry placards in Supporting ACN under the auspice of SNG..I cant do more than that! But I shall be happy when I see even a Lil remorse on the Govt. Part to responsibility. Changes are happening and power is just a case, we Nigerians cannot deny it, even when we aren't sure of its sustainability.. The cold water I enjoyed yesterday cannot be made hot in my system today cos Nepa interrupts power today. Things can never get perfect, not that we must settle for less but we have seen improvements! @ kobo, I went through all your comments and here are my submission: seems you have a personal beef with the poster cos all your acclaimed facts were majorly fallacies and your 'logic' kept going round in circles but in different diction. 2. Generation hasn't increased, but the politics being played with the 'available' generated power is on the low, so the right station gets their allocation. We didnt say we have a 'stable' power supply, but we are encouraging an 'improvement'. When you don't see little changes, why wont you be daft to changes at all? Its not like the power sector is business as usual, so our public opinion would also encourage the government and streamline their actions, and also activate their senses that 'we are watching'. #you might know the intensity in measurement of the Sun rays, but you got to be under it to know how it'l pierce your skin! I know your western mentality of 'Nigerians are too docile' would help your next sarcasm of a reply. Please, don't fight this blind war. 2 Likes |

Idiagbon was the inept one abi? Who was the leader, or he ruled from behind? Lolz! Very soon or later in the years, when you fall in love with Jona, you'll tell your sons that 'Sambo' was the inept person in jona's govt. And no offence sir, but your allusion to Islamic country's presidents to that of Nigeria whom is not an Islamic of homogenous country appears so lame and slow. Please sir, while I read my books and make consultations, I implore you to also activate your maturity in line with reality. 'skeptists' in epistemology are not popular..*winks |

We Nigerians attempt matters according to our own plights, thats very Irrational I say. Did you see that cracker *transformation from a God's fearing state to aid fearing state*. That comic idiom carries a message the sightless cannot behold. Why would a sane woman is a third world country filled with blood thirsty politicians and coup plotters sell off all Presidential travel and security assets just because she loves to hitch-hike? Obama fly economy class as well but why hasn't he sold Airforce1? You cannot expose your stupidity in cloak of humility to the detriment of your sensitivity.. If she needs to travel for an emergency meeting I guess she would have to go on foot cos she is humble. And why wont Imf and Britain attack African cultural values be taking advantage of a loopole? Homosexual rights my foot! Why did she marry? And when you subject your country men to begging then then you leave them at a mercy of western dictatorial foreign policy shit! |

@The man who wanted to be educated on Buhari's bad luck. Buhari swayed our first democracy in 85. Our PTF funds were unaccounted for. He has a degree in 'Islamic' studies which is not good enough to lead a democratic Govt. His ineptitude during his military rule made Idiagbon the head of state and govt. He has countlessly made violent speeches which were decorated by bloodshed in the past and he's still at it. He appears a sectarian leader from all the elections held in the past(campaign). You want more reasons? |
