Sometimes the "inner peace" that accompany that fear is worth it. It seems its better than that situation where u are busy doing the "loving n caring n being committed" only to find out you're bring taken for granted at the end of the day. Some say that guys already know if they would settle with a girl they're dating or not, so why will they still go ahead, wasting her TIME n efforts? why?

Family / Re: Why You Shouldn't Marry A Lady Raised By A Single Parent by Pinocchioo(f): 5:45pm On Sep 26, 2016
CuteMorriz:
I am not saying ladies raised by single parents are all bad, you may get lucky finding some exceptional ladies raised by single mums. Evidently you seldom find single men raising a child but it's quite prevalent with the opposite sex.

A relation of mine was dating this lady and when the time came for the union to be made official, his parents advised him to discontinue becos after they had made enquiries and investigation they discovered the lady's mother left her husband many years ago over some frivolous reasons. Then I asked my uncle why did he side with family and not allow his son take the bold step then he said:

1. Women raised by single parent (mother) are usually strong willed hence may end up like their mother.

2. A lady who has seen no need for a father will be swift to end a union because she will have the courage to train her children alone afterall she was raised by a mum.

3. How will she get marital advice from her mum when things are tough and you know ladies often run to their mum when they need advice (remember the mother took the easy way out)

4. Sooner or later my son may become a bachelor again...the odd is high and is glaring..

5. A lady who have spent 21 years of her life without a father cannot be psychologically stable even if she appears to be.

6. Ladies raised by single parents did not experience the beautiful and ugly part of the union called marriage from her parents hence they don't have their parents as their role model.

7. Amin (as he fondly calls me) when the baton gets to you, look at the mother of your fiancèe closely because with time she will display those traits you observed in the mother......

Then I asked him what if the lady's father is dead and the mum decided to train her alone?...my uncle said we may also enquire about the untimely death of the father but "Amin that is a topic for another day"......

So who would marry ladies trained by single parents

Science/Technology / Re: Between Albert Einstein And Thomas Edison Who Contributed More To The World? by Pinocchioo(f): 6:56pm On Sep 03, 2016
tdayof:
Albert. Even Nikola Tesla was greater than Thomas Edison. Edison tried to discredit Tesla and his inventions , which a true genius would have never done.

It would be not prudent to compare them, but still I'd go with Albert Einstein.
The reason is clear; Einstein's famous 'thought experiment' was something that was never thought of previously (however there are claims that the conclusions drawn by Einstein were already contrived up by someone before, but let's just leave it), and still remains fundamentally correct.

Edison certainly has several patents to his name, more than a thousand, but then one should know the fact that it was not only Edison behind what these patents are. His whole team was behind the curtain, and their credits were credited to Edison. It also is easy to grasp that the inventions he did, like gramophone, voting machines, etc. (mind well light bulb wasn't invented by him, he just perfected it) could be made by other individuals sooner or later, he was just the 'first one'.

On the other hand, the ideas posed by Einstein are revolutionary, out of the box, yet true. Not only did he dare to establish his weird idea, but also proved them, mathematically, stating that he didn't hypothesize things. Until now, nobody and nothing has disproved Einstein's theory of relativity. It has stood shiningly through all the tests scientists have posed.

Edison also was not a better person by nature. He literally harassed Nikola Tesla, an other better genius counterpart of him, because Tesla just said that Edison's direct current system was inefficient; which led to the famous 'war of currents' between them, which was of course won by Tesla.

For those who'll argue that there is no impact of Einstein's ideas on the common man compared to Edison's, here's something to read:
-Einstein's theories of relativity (both, general and special) play an important role in GPS navigation system most of us internet users rely upon.
-Einstein's paper about the photoelectric effect revolutionised the solar panels, which are likely to be one of the primary technology which is needed to be perfected for the future absence of the conventional energy sources. He got the Nobel prize for this.
-Due to his ideas, we've been able to understand the universe in a better way, and hence the astrophysics is flourishing.
-Electromagnets (which inarguably play a substantial role in every person's life) are better understood by Special theory of relativity. (Google 'relativistic electromagnetism')
For physicists, his ideas still serve as the supporting blocks to develop new theories.
-His prediction that gravity 'bends' the space-time and hence light, ruptured Sir Newton's theory about Gravity; now we know Gravity better.
-His concept of bending of space-time helped physicists understand the presence of dark matter.
-His one of the spookiest theory about Quantum Entanglement was later proved to be correct, which might (repeat, might) provide an insight on the development of technology for teleportation.
Yes, he has made certain mistakes, but they still fail Edison to elevate intellectually compared to Einstein, in my opinion.
The bottom line:
Mother earth could have given birth to an other Edison, but Einstein is unique.
Also I have the graceful Time magazine to back me up:

Comparison is out of it. If you really enjoy physics, you will know the difference. It's not just about reading about their achievement.

No doubt, you are a lover of physics, nice one
Romance / Re: 6 Lies Nigerian Guys Tell When They're Hitting On You by Pinocchioo(f): 8:41pm On Aug 30, 2016
searchiing4love:
How many Nigerian girls are ready to listen to the truth? They are attracted to fake life and material things so much cos 99.99% of them were raised in chronic poverty. They rely on nothing than their smelly pusssies which is their work-chop to raise money by keeping multiple men and proffessing fake love to each of them to keep the money flowing. Example is that mumu guy who bought a car for a Unilag hoe just because she said Yes to his proposal forgetting that when he goes broke, the same biitch will look for the next comfort zone. The average Nigerian girl whose pusssy is as wide as a borehole will form hard to get when you approach her hence the need for lies and packaging to decieve and lure their smelly asses to bed.

#Teamforeigngirls cool

Wonderful essay u have here, You really caught my attention, it seems you conducted a research, "...cos 99% of Nigerian girls were raised in CHRONIC poverty". My prayer for you is that u and your family will not smell poverty, so your own daughter who would grow up as a Nigerian, since you are a Nigerian will not be part of the 99% of these girls.
