MorataFC: You serious so? You are reporting issues to someone who can actually provide solutions, yet you are censoring his name. Even when Seun’s name is mentioned 100 times, has he responded even once? So why the need to censor it? This forum has grown beyond Seun’s direct control. He should do the needful by paying attention and listening to users’ complaints. Lol. I don mention am tire. At this point, it doesn't even matter. Like you said, he doesn't respond and I doubt he even checks his mentions. Na PMs he go dey read. By the way, antispambot fit go take am personal, knack me 50 years ban. Bot wey dey move like werey. Nairaland has stalled for at least the last 8 years. I think Seun is exhausted. He spends more time on Twitter these days. It might be better to take a seat back and cede some level of control to someone with fresher energy and impetus. |

MEROXGOLD: PLEASE WHY IS FELA NOT ON THE POLL? No vex. I hurriedly put up the first few names that came to mind and the poll wouldn't allow for more than 4 options. I'm thinking it would have been better not adding a poll for a question of this nature, in the first place. There are just so many possible answers. |

MorataFC: England needs to learn from these leagues. They schedule their fixtures in a way that allows football fans to enjoy every match, but the EPL will have 4 games kicking off at the same time, not ordinary game ooo but some interesting matches. La Liga does the same thing. They have matches running from Friday to Monday. On individual time-slots. To be fair to the English FA, most of the big games have their standalone slots. I do miss the old days of Super Sunday though. I mean the real Super Sunday. Not the hype-driven nonsense they do nowadays just because big teams are in action on a Sunday. I'm talking those Sundays when you watch Liverpool Vs Man Utd at 2pm first and then settle down to watch Chelsea Vs Arsenal at around 5pm. Those were the Barclays years. |

MorataFC: Morata isn’t a bad striker as people portray him. Just because he didn’t perform well at Chelsea FC doesn’t make him a bad player. Debrune ,Salah etc failed at Chelsea, are they bad players?🤣🤣🤣 A bad player wouldn’t find himself playing for the best teams in the top leagues. Morata has played for two of the best teams in La Liga, and also played for two of the best teams in Serie A. He once played in England for one WOLRD CHAMPIONS Team. France and Germany are the only top leagues he hasn’t played in. A bad player cannot simply find himself at so many big clubs in the leagues people consider the best.😂🤣🤣🤣😜 Weh'done sah! |

MorataFC, I'm just wondering; if NL had an 'edit username' feature, would you have kept your moniker? I see you created the moniker around the start of the 17/18 season when Morata joined Chelsea and was scoring in his first few games. You would agree with me that your choice of moniker has since aged badly If na me, I for deactivate that account after all the nonsense wey that mumu do. You might find this random and it is. Harry Kane scored his 50th goal from outside the box yesterday. That's about 10% of his career goals which is impressive for a number 9.
That laser-guided bottom corner shot is fast becoming his signature goal. Like Robben's R2 shot or Messi's chip. I can't count how many times I have seen that goal this season. The crazy thing is the shot always seem close to the goalkeeper, yet they never get a hand to it. Mad precision. |

raumdeuter: This is the business end of the season and our play has declined This is one of my biggest fears. We are always peaking early. August to December, we are on fire. Then the form dips a little after the winter break and finally, an injury crisis finishes the job. Every season. The boys started well today but they took their foot off the gas in the second half. We need to do better next week cos that Klassiker go hot. |

raumdeuter: Our play has been sloppy for the last 4 weeks
Kim Kimmich and Urbig pay need to be locked for that 2nd Frankfurt goal Kimmich has been shyte in recent weeks. His ankle is not fully healed and it's affecting his game. Kompany needs to man up and make him sit out a few games. Kim is just Kim. No surprises there. Urbig seems to make mistakes every other game but you can also say the same for Neuer this season. I think he will get better with more playing time. I'm more worried about Davies' injury. Judging by his reaction, it doesn't look good. Neuer is already out for about a month. Laimer was not in the squad today. We are about to hit the business stretch of the season and the notorious injury bug is striking again. Omor. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by pkasso(m): 10:44am On Feb 21 |
Kimbeast: You’re misrepresenting my point. The only real difference is that Woltemade wasn’t aggressive or confrontational about taking the penalty unlike Gordon. Beyond that it’s the same situation. He was already on a hattrick and the team was winning comfortably yet Palmer and Gordon still insisted on taking the penalty instead of letting another teammate have it. You’re bending over backwards to excuse Palmer while criticizing Gordon for doing essentially the same thing. Palmer was selfish so was Gordon. Context is key here. Woltemade is in the middle of a rough patch, he has only 1 goal in his last 15 games. He is low on confidence and every goal helps. The game is dead and buried, just give him the darn PK! Gordon doesn't have to wait for Woltemade to ask to take the PK before handing it over. It's called being a considerate team mate. That Trippier almost got into a fight with Gordon over this shows who was wrong here. By the way, I never brought up Palmer. You did, in a bid to excuse Gordon of any blame. I only pointed out why I think Palmer was right. You are the one playing whataboutism on this one. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by pkasso(m): 10:05am On Feb 21 |
Kimbeast: We can also say Gordon is chasing Mbappe for the Golden boot since that excuse being a bad teammate. If Gordon was wrong so was Palmer. No two ways about it. Lol. You are clearly hellbent on making a case for Gordon 'cos how are these two situations similar ffs? Jackson and Madueke bickering over who to take the penalty was disgusting to see. Giving either of them that PK would have caused more problems. That Palmer decided to take it was the right decision. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by pkasso(m): 9:38am On Feb 21 |
Kimbeast: Palmer did the same to Madueke/Jackson after scoring a hatrick against Everton and everyone here supported him so why is Gordon getting hate for doing the same. Palmer was chasing Haaland in a race for the Golden Boot and there was only like 5 games left. I can understand him insisting on taking the penalty. Even Gallagher agreed. Gordon had already scored one PK, sealed his hat trick, the decent thing to do was pass the next one to his struggling team mate. Even his captain thought the same. |
