He was the first billionaire in nigeria as i read. He couldn't have been THAT famous if you are struggling to remember his name |

pdppower: Whether we admit it or not, Obasanjo is the most popular Nigerian to ever live. For somebody to be appointed Co-Chair of the InterAction Council (a prominent international organization of former heads of state and government) tells you a lot about how important he is. I beg to disagree, chief. You are a PDP man so I'm not surprised |

Speaking of Gordon, I hear he now has the same number of Champions League goals (10) as a certain Chelsea legend. Raumdeuter, this can't be true, can it?

CHIEFCHICKEN: People only remember people for the evil they have done. Abacha seems to be the most popular, due to wickedness Hmmn. . That's an interesting way to look at it. You can't spell 'Infamous' without 'famous'. But I don't think the younger generations aka Gen Z and Gen Alpha are familiar with Sanni Abacha and the atrocities of his military regime. I'm not even sure if History is still being taught in our schools today. Outside of Nigeria, I don't think his name will ring too many bells. |

Nigeria is the most populous Black nation on the planet and it's no surprise that such a country has produced exceptionally talented people who have made names for themselves in different spheres of life. Be it in business, politics, academia, sports and entertainment.
These individuals have left their mark in their respective fields and history is replete with their accomplishments. But which one of these personalities has achieved the highest of recognition? The one whose name is mentioned even in the most remote of lands. Who is the most famous Nigerian of all time?
You can mention other names not available in the poll.

Ibime: It is not Gordon's fault Woltemade is a snail
This is EPL. He should return to joggersliga and refind his scoring boots there I know say you go defend your boy. That behaviour was disgusting. Your team mate is going through a rough patch and you have a chance to help him, but you choose to be selfish. Before he scored against Villa in the Cup at the weekend, Woltemade had gone 15 games without a goal. Imagine what goals in back-to-back games would have done for his confidence. We've seen players dash PKs even if they are the designated taker. Saka did the same for Gyokeres earlier this season when he was struggling, even though the game was still tight. Havertz's first ever Arsenal PL goal was a penalty handed to him by Odegaard, against Bournemouth, I think. Anthony Gordon is a diyeek. |

You can almost feel bad for Woltemade. This was after Gordon scored his fourth goal yesterday.
Trippier, who was the captain on the night, actually tried to get Gordon allow Nick take the PK like any decent person would but the clown refused. He was furious at HT and had to be kept away from Gordon by Dan Burn.
I've never liked Gordon as player. Dirty player with a silly haircut. I now have an extra reason to hate on him.

LB: Nuno Mendes
CB: Gabriel Magalhaes
CB: Marc Guehi
RB: Hakimi
DM: Gravenberch
CM: Caicedo
CM: Pedri
LW: Mbappe
RW: Mbuemo
CF: Osimhen Nice lineup. But you have both Nuno Mendes and Hakimi in your team. You can only choose one as they both play for PSG. The Mbeumo pick, that, I didn't see coming. Very left-field. I also couldn't help but notice most of your players are Black |

MorataFC: It’s still too early to rule them out bro, they are still very much in the race and can still go on to win it. But if they eventually proved to be arsenal and bottle it, that is when we will all be ready to send our heartfelt condolences wishes to dem. 😂😂😂 That is the thing. They are still in control of their destiny. All they have to do is stay calm and just get on with business. But can they do it? |

Unlimited22: The thing is that the 22/23 season scarred Arteta for life
They were playing scintillating football, but losing Saliba plus having weaklings like Zinchenko and Holding for crucial games made them have a soft underbelly
Baba just went to the extreme and has his team playing like rugby guys in an attempt to force them over the line
If to say he stick to him guns, but with the same 6'3 technical guys, they'd have had this sewn up a while ago. I think it's more of a mentality problem than a tactical one. They just can't seem to handle the pressure of a title race. How many late goals have they conceded this season, again? |
