Commendable act, but why is she posting this online? The whole thing reeks of virtue-signalling and 'blowing your trumpet' kind of thing. Her ego couldn't resist the urge to set herself up as a saviour, usng the poor kid to garner public praise, likes and who knows maybe some dough. After only two months. Even the so-called transformation is exaggerated.

If you feel the need to show off your acts of kindness, then maybe your intentions are not entirely noble to begin with. Why not let those works and other people speak for you and your conscience be the judge. Even the Holy Book says let your left hand give without the right hand knowing.

Gladbach got their own taste of that Saarbrucken special grin What a run those guys are on. They will be facing Kaiserslautern in the semis and they will very much fancy their chances. Them winning the Pokal would be the biggest story in German football this year in spite of what Leverkusen have done.

I have an account on Z-lib.

At the same time, one of my ideas involves creating something to protect creators and help them with digital rights management, with the aid of blockchain technology.

Again, two sides, one coin.

The fact that the bulk of the books I've read have been pirated copies because I can't afford them doesn't make the act of piracy any less damaging.

I'm an author myself, and I know what has happened to my book, Pitakwa Boy.

Yeah. I specifically directed the question to you for a reason. Omo, so sorry about your book. No be say you be Stephen King or J.K Rowling wey don chop money for writing. Abeg, make dem allow my guy make im money oh.

Laws exist for a reason. Morality is subjective, legality a lot less so.
My thirst for knowledge pushing me to steal books is 'morally' commendable, but it still makes me a thief.

Two sides, one coin.
Hmmn. You don't download books online illegally, I presume?

For the sake of his career he should avoid Bayern for now

Since 2016 Liverpool 1 coach, Since 2016 Bayern 6 coaches

Liverpool will be more patient and understanding, Bayern environment will destroy any coach who doesnt hit the ground running, wins consistently, and win in style. Otherwise they sack him instantly
I love Xabi so much I don't want him to take the Bayern job. I don't see much upside to it. Winning the league with Leverkusen, potentially unbeaten, and possibly the German Cup is a bigger achievement than anything he might achieve at Bayern, bar the treble which is like once a decade. There's a popular saying "If you can't beat them, join them," here, the reverse is the case. Why would he join Bayern when he's virtually completed Football in Germany at a more difficult level. If he comes here, he will judged by his success at Leverkusen and would be under pressure to do more, which is insane and unfair IMO.

With Liverpool, there is a fresh challenge, competing in the best league in the world and also in with a solid chance of winning the CL. More importantly, he will be afforded the time and support to build his team. I would go to Liverpool if i were in his shoes.

It has to be the revised version. How did i get it? I stole it! When i was much younger,my mum taught me not to take people's money and i strictly adhere to that but you see novels, i couldn't resist the temptation as i was a book addict. During break time, labour period, i usually sneak back into the class and search every bag. I ignored money and food but novels never escaped me. 99.9% of my novel collections were stolen!
Lmao. A interesting case of Bibliokleptomania. I've always wondered about the ethical implications of such habits. Knowledge is a lofty ideal, when compared to baser human desires such as money and power. The growth and advancement of any civilization is tied to the level of knowledge possessed by that civilization. So should the need to read or know be constrained by moral codes and laws?

It also raises the question with writers and publishers and the issue of illegal downloads of ebooks and journals. Is there a line in our quest for knowledge and where do we draw it?

Unlimited22, I'm particularly interested in your take on this issue.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by pkasso(m): 11:59am On Mar 04
I'm going to be honest, i'm not confident about our chances of qualifying tomorrow. My hope in this team has never been so low and comeback missions at the Allianz Arena rarely ends well. It's a movie I know all too well, and the ending is always the same. Real Madrid, Barca, Atleti, Liverpool, Villarreal, Man City. The last time we managed a comeback victory was against Porto in 2015, I think.

The truth is our players are not up for the fight on big nights like this when the pressure is really on. It's even worse with this current team. They talk a great deal pre-match, but when it's time to match their words with action, they disappoint.

The more I think of it, a Ro16 exit at the hands of Lazio would be the perfect signoff for the disaster that has been Tuchel's reign. You can't go any lower than that.

That said, i will still be supporting the team tomorrow of course, but this time with zero expectations.

Tony! I'm trying to remember the title of the song he did where Princess was a Mama Put owner and had video vixens in yellow t-shirts and blue trousers dancing in a line. He wasn't touching any of them. I don't know if you can remember the title.

That music video caused trouble. Turns out my class teacher's first daughter was the lead video vixen in the music video and she got suspended from church for it. It was forbidden to wear trousers then in our church. Crazy times. cheesy
Hahaha. That would be 'Na you sabi'. Very funny song.

The only thing Kimmich has been consistent in is dropping disaterclass for Germany and Bayern since 2020. It's a good thing Nagelsmann has confirmed he is returning him back to right back which is the only position he is decent in.
Kimmich dropping disasterclass since 2020? I will assume that's just hyperbole on your part. Kimmich's QF-first-leg showing vs PSG in 2021 remains the most dominant playmaking performance by a midfielder in any CL knockout game in the last 5 seasons. I dare you to mention a better one. The same Kimmich was one of the very few bright spots for Germany at the last World Cup, alongside Musiala but let's put all the blame on him while players like Gundogan and Muller stunk up the joint and the team crashed out in the group stages.

Kimmich going back to RB is no news. Joachim Low played him as a wingback at the last Euros even when he was balling in midfield. Kroos' return means Nagelsmann can now afford some much-needed quality at the RB position. That said, i expect to see him invert in midfield and help Kroos out.

Kimmich never played in midfield for Bayern in 2020. Their midfield combination was always Thiago and Gortz while the fraud was at fullback. Bayern and Germany trying to shoehorn pkasso fraud into midfield, is one of the reason they have been terrible lately. He is useless in midfield which was one of the reason Tuchel wanted Palhinha.
Hahaha. This man no go everly let me rest. Kimmich actually played alongside Thiago in midfield that season until the Lisbon mini-tournament when he had to fill in at RB for the injured Pavard. He was certainly our best midfielder that year, even if Thiago tried as well.

You are free to talk trash about a player who has been incredibly consistent for years, but because of a slight dip in form, is "useless" but let your apologies be as loud as your disrespect when he inevitably recovers top form. I'll be waiting to see the miracle Kroos performs at the Euros since he has decided to return to the NT. Just make sure you keep the same energy with him.

Nothing new here. Every big game na opportunity for Tuchel to disgrace himself. I trust Hamann and Matthaus to squeeze his neck like crazy this night, e never see anything. Useless coach.

There's no stopping Leverkusen now. They are going to coast to the title and we are going to drop more points. God go forever punish the fools that sacked Nagelsmann and brought in Tuchel. They just set the team backwards.

Harry Kane is definitely ending this season trophyless. Poor lad. Dem go use trolling kill am.

RIP Encyclopedia of Nigerian football.
Kayode Tijani was Nigeria's foremost football historian. The man was a walking encyclopedia, like you said. He would recount with amazing detail even the most random events in Nigerian football history. Nothing ever got past him. This is a great loss to Nigerian sports journalism. May his soul rest in peace.

Mike Mayaki and him were the ones that made me fall in love with the analytical side of football, with their expert dissection of football news and stories. I hope Uncle Mike is well and kicking wherever he is.

Una just dey wake up to wetin we see for Burna since 2013

Burna delivers a high level on any genre and any style from RnB to Ragga to Afrojuju to Afrobeats to HipHop, not to talk of stage performance. Nobody is in his cadre. It's an insult to mention him with any Nigerian artiste
Bros, dey calm down. Afrojuju ke? grin grin Next thing, you go mention Apala grin

Burna's good. The best at the moment. But I think you need to calm down with the worship. Wizkid is more than a worthy rival, IMO. He has had more success on the home front and has the longevity to back his argument. Burna's success was propelled by the Black diaspora, not his home base. An inversion of the natural process of 'blowing'. It was when he started getting international recognition, starting with 'Ye' that people began to jump on his train. You can't be the GOAT of something as tribal as Afrobeats if it took foreigners for your own people to truly recognise you.

This constant fellating of Burna is why he keeps misbehaving and thinks he's tiers above everyone else. Throwing his colleagues under the bus in interviews. He is very good at what he does, no doubt but saying it's an insult to mention him alongside other Nigerian artistes is disrespecting the numerous talented artistes we have in the industry.

If artist, music or sound wey una no like blow,Na always PR not talent...

Music is an art, but even then it's not entirely free-form. There are conventions you must follow. Otherwise you end up making 'noise'. You keep assuming I have this romantic belief in my head of what music should sound like, which is wrong. I don't care if you are making bubblegum music or deep music, it's all about the artistry for me. I should be able to sense the 'idea' behind what you are doing. There are artistes who make music i can't connect to, but I still respect the quality of work they put in. Taylor Swift is an example grin I don't discriminate, I critique.

Which talent Shallipopi get, abeg? I really want to know.
