We have seen instances of captains letting their team mates keep the armband. A few years ago, Otamendi captained Argentina in a match that saw Messi start on the bench. When Messi came on as a sub, Otamendi offered him the armband but the GOAT told him to keep it. Otamendi refused and eventually forced him to take the armband. That's mutual respect there between two senior colleagues.

I used to really like Mbappe before; I liked him for how effective he is on the field and always feel people misjudge him by referring to him as egomaniac. I used to think he's a very good player who just has a high sense of self-worth and because of that people hated his guts.

However, in recent times I'm beginning to think surely, he has an attitudinal problem. The whole thing looks like he was forcefully made to grow above his age which had negative impact on him and how he relates with fellow players and club managements. Something just feels off about him .

He's been indulged for too long and he has grown into it. First at PSG, those ones bent over backwards just to please him and also at the French National Team.

Even at Real Madrid, he is beginning to show his true colours, that Super Cup incident for example. He seems to be chill with Vini but I suspect it's only a matter of time before he butts heads with someone with a similar alpha personality, like Bellingham.

Best Bayern side ever ke? Pep's Bayern were dominant but they were not as decisive as some of the other Bayern teams we have seen. Just like his Barcelona side, they had problems navigating knockout ties away from home.
