Is this the black, flying insect that bites you quickly in multiple places before you realise it? Aw! I don't know the name o, I just call it kòkòrò dúdú, so it's Tanpepe. I have a new vocabulary now. This Lagos life self, you won't know anything. |
MikeofKd:This way you are ready to fly and be gone with the wind is one sure way to not get a reasonable lady to marry. Patience, not foolishness, is one ingredient you need to have. We all slip up at one point or the other. When you are patient, it doesn't mean you are stupid. To study or research on anything, you have to be patient. That's why you don't get university degrees in one day. Don't let girls have any idea about the depth of your pocket. Let her imagine you are both struggling. Good girls are fast going into extinction now but there are still a few good ones who'd love genuinely without ulterior motives. I wish you good luck in your search but no matter what, don't be pressured. It will be at your detriment if the unfortunate happens. Let your mum know you are taking your time so you can pick the best. Finally, like from a big sister now, stop philandering around. For a man too, it doesn't make sense! |
omooba969:I am sure I'm not the only one who always thinks Liverpool made a huge mistake dismantling the partnership of Salah and Sadio Mane. They haven't gotten over Mane yet. He made Liverpool formidable. Now the EPL table is looking real, title race has just begun! Arsenal should buckle up now. I hope this is our season! |
mrvitalis:I'd be damned if you think nothing is being done. I thought you are more sensitive than that. That things are being done diplomatically, tactfully doesn't mean nothing is being done. Show some brilliance. |
ollyboy900:Yes me too. I get apprehensive. I guess it's the fear that you'd measure something abysmal again. Yes, I did something to my diet. No bread, very minimal soft drinks, I eat early, no late night meals. I trek a lot too. Those things are not easy to do because there will be relapses but you gotta keep your focus on your goals. I even lost some weight, though not much. |
mrvitalis:Forget! No external tribe will drag resources with ọmọ ibilẹ. Especially in a land like Lagos. Fulanis know this otherwise they'd have run Lagos over. If you ask me, I'd say it's covetousness (not delusion) worrying most of you. You have your own (Aba, Onitsha, Owerri, Enugu, Nnewi, Nsukka) etc. Go do whatever you want with those, nobody would wrestle you over those. E lu tago? |
Something like a Health Day was organised by my church and the medical personnels were checking vitals. I decided to check and it was 175/100 or something. Alarming! The nurse said if it were in the hospital that I checked, they would've admitted me straight. Meanwhile, In my body, I felt nothing. I felt healthy, I was even hurrying them cause I wan go minister upstairs. Irony! After the check, they counseled me and gave drugs. You know what I did? The drugs that were specifically BP drugs, I didn't use them. I am too young to be on BP drugs cause they said once I start, I can't stop! Now, I still don't use BP drugs but it's normalised by itself. I still checked last week. The idea is to keep checking. |
mrvitalis:Delulu, no matter what you tell yourself to make yourself feel good, Lagos is somebody's enclave; it's not a one size fits all menu. Igbos don't have ancestral roots in Lagos, the reason why an Emeka or a Chukwudi cannot wake up one day and says he wants to be king. Even if royalty becomes one one kobo, Chioma or Ngozi cannot benefit. For this reason and many more, sorry, you can't say who becomes a caretaker. There'll always be preferential treatment because you're not a son of the soil. This system is practiced by many organisations. It's the reason why universities for instance have catchment areas. Pẹlẹ. Go and vie for Obi in Nnewi or Onitsha, it'll be express delivery! |
mrvitalis:Take that word control out. Nobody is interested in controlling anybody. Once everyone stays within the ambience of the rules that governs the society, lobatan! Chikena! |
mrvitalis:Well you can't deny the fact it's the locality of a particular tribe. |
mrvitalis:You don't get it. It's not about the power to stop anything. I think he means enabling environment. Lagos sure has that. You won't plan an event and put the venue at Gaza Strip. That's what he's talking about. The East with the news of unknown gunmen, kidnapping here and there might not be that comfortable an environment to host such events as this one. |
TheBreastSucker:Old things have passed away, behold, they've become new. |
tnerro1:Well, thank you, but I'm very married. |
tnerro1:You're not any different from the girl. Case Closed! |
I don't get it! Many Nigerians seem to be crazy. All these weyrey Muslim clerics suddenly finding their voices and humaneness is far from their lips? They should shut up already! Now, forget about who is killed more, whether Christians or Muslims, that's by the way. Should anyone be killed at all? Why do they want to pee on their pants because Trump is coming? If the government has failed in securing the lives of its citizens, then someone else should do that for them! If they don't want Trump to be here on account of Christians, then they should let him secure the lives of their Muslim brothers. Hypocrites! Killers! Terrorists! That's what all of them are. Awọn Ọbayejẹ! |
Can you see? Christians are the target! People are saying Trump has no basis to come, do you honestly still think so? God have mercy on these ones. These are needless, senseless, avoidable killings! |
jmoore:Athletico wey dey give Barca and Madrid serious headache. The hatred for Arsenal has beclouded some people's reasoning. Dem no dey even see road again. |
geoworldedu:When pain is too much to handle at times, it can make one to be 'directionless' jumping up and down without purpose. See how you are quoting everybody on top Arsenal issue. You do do do come even quote yourself join. Pẹlẹ o, I still get some Panadol to offer you. Wailing Society of Nigeria |
Why not? If I release a prior statement that my body be used as a cadaver, that means I'm still very useful; even in death |
This is shocking! Another great talent is gone. May God comfort his family. So sad! |
reverendfather:Dribbling doesn't make anyone a fantastic striker. I remember Gervinho, the Coted'ivoire guy for Arsenal. He'll just dribble and dribble and end up giving the ball away more than half of the time. |
Quick thinking. Dem no wan make blood spill for their body. |
chiiraq802:Just 2? They have 2000 mouths! One by one, God go catch them! |
wunmi590:Before Tinubu, we've had insurgency problems. As far back as GEJ's era, we've had them. I don't think Muslim-Muslim ticket is the bane of Nigeria's problems. Tinubu Is not your typical fanatic overzealous religious person; he's strictly a business man. He doesn't even womanise; na strategy full him head. While we had a Muslim-Christian government in Buhari and Oṣibajo, what exactly did Oṣibajo do differently for the Christians? Did he benefit Christians in any special way? Yes, Christians are being killed in their thousands now, but it's not because of Muslim-Muslim ticket, but because we have insecurity issues which the presidency have not devised strategies to combat. If you say they're both incompetent, I agree. |
Sheuns:That's not an objective argument. All the while when they have been 'shooking' their mouths in narratives, APC have been in power. For them to keep quiet on this one is unusual. Typical Obi and Atiku would have gotten things to say. But whether dem talk or not no concern anyone, na dem get their mouth. I'm sure they'll have their reason for keeping mute. On the matters arising, anyone that says Trump should not invade Nigeria is evil. People are dying in great numbers and some terrorist apologists, who I'm not sure aren't terrorists themselves, are quoting one constitution or the other that prohibits Trump from thumping in. Ah! Ẹ bẹru ọlọrun na! No diplomacy anything, he should just send his troops. |
Dogasas:Yes o! My husband's barber friend won #500k that year. This was huge money then, around 2009. |
PerfectStranger:Until he hears Boko boys visit his community and wipe off his entire generation - grandma, parents, Uncle, cousins, niece, wife, children, pregnancy... that's when he'll receive sense. Rádaràda! |
I don't even have my ex's numbers. I don't have their social media handles, wetin concern me? Past is past, biko. |
