The sands of time are rushing fast. With 6 days to the exams, I believe you already know the centre you will be using to write your exams. If it is a centre you're already familiar with, that is fine.

But, if it is a new centre, that might poss a problem if you want to be asking for a direction on the exam day. So, it is highly recommended that you go there 2 or at least, a day before your exams and survey the surroundings. You will know if, for instance, it has a car park and if it does not you will be able to decide whether to go to the location early with public transport, take a Uber or look for a safe parking lot.

In addition, I also want to believe that you are pushing everything aside to concentrate on your studies. The exam is just for 2days so do everything in your power to eliminate any form of distraction physically, emotionally and psychologically.

However, if you are among those who have decided not to write the CITN April 2020 Diet for reasons best known to you, it is fine and okay. As a result, I have put in place 6 strategies you can adopt so that you can concentrate and feel good about meeting up with your study goals: they are as follows

1.Eliminate distractions.
Get rid of noise distractions like people chatting in the background or walking around or doing other activities. It can be really distracting. You will spend 2hours in understanding a topic you could have understood in 25 minutes.

2. Flee from social media. During your study period, you can turn off your data then put your phone little bit far away from you so that you will not be checking Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linda Ikeji's blog at intervals.

3. Create a Weekly Study Schedule-- you need to create your weekly schedule based on the demands of your work or activities. Studying without a schedule will not yield a positive result.

4. Take breaks in between your studies.
I recommend doing 45 minutes of study, followed by 5–10 minutes of rest so that you can refresh your brain and stretch your body. Going through your phone is a counter-productive break.

5. Motivation:* when the going gets tough, the tough get going. It is not all the time you will feel like studying. So, anytime you have that feeling, motivate yourself with the benefits and value you will get for qualifying.

6. Do this when you don't feel like studying-- There are times when you don't really feel like studying for hours. In fact, it is either you feel stressed out or you had a rough day. Just pick up your Simplified and Comprehensive Lecture Videos and go through it for 30minutes.

Today makes it 4days to the commencement of the PGOLD ICAN November Support class and I hope you are prepared. That is, you read ahead of the class by now, especially those calculation courses.

Early January, immediately after the new year, Madam D, who bought all PM, FR, CSME and PSAF from us called that she was tired of writing CSME for the third time. After a careful analysis through long conversation, it is practically impossible to Pass Performance Management and Financial Reporting with ease and CSME just like that.

I then asked if she liked theoretical courses and her answer was "No". I let her know that she has to like the theoretical course if she sincerely wants to pass because no matter how much she studies, defeat has been pre-conceived already in her mind.

Similarly, Mr Jide failed SFM for 3 diets before qualifying November Diet 2019, despite being a first-class student. Mr Jide has a deep belief in his mind that SFM is a difficult subject to pass and he got it from an experience that happened to his elder brother regarding that subject matter. So, this has been working against him. It is a deep script that has been written on his soul. So, he has to replace it with a positive affirmation. -Write Financial Reporting (FR), CSME, before Audit and Assurance (or together)

-Write CSME before Audit and Assurance (or together)

-Write FR, CSME and Public Sector Accounting and Finance

-Write CSME as soon as possible after Audit and Assurance.

There is a lot of common ground regarding internal audit and corporate governance which will help you.

Furthermore, you can also do Performance Management with either Public Sector Accounting and Finance or Performance Management alone.

Furthermore, SFM and Corporate Reporting have very large syllabi - They also involve a lot of in-depth understanding. So, be aware when choosing these with other papers

Write Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA), Case Study, Corporate Reporting (CR) together

This is really, really helpful as the basic principles of CR standards (not calculations though) are all vital in AAA.

SFM can either be written alone or with Advanced Taxation together or with AAA. Although they are not directly related, your chance of passing the is very high when compared to SFM and CR

The Examiner's expectations are a far greater range of points and thus knowledge than any of the other papers - so its a proper combination of lots of knowledge work and application skills

Worry about tomorrow can infect your performance today.

Sincerely, I don't really blame you for worrying because the government policies in this new normal, are draconian and you should expect more of these - which you don't have control over. Unfortunately, you will be the one to face the consequence if you don't become better in your career and finance. Furthermore, the end result of your life is a direct result of your decision today. I have stopped worrying about tomorrow, instead, I focus on how to make myself relevant daily through constant growth.
