My question is How do the satellite determine the number of people in a particular area?


Furthermore an area of 40 square kilomtres with 40 houses and 2,000 people and another area of 80 square kilometres with 60 houses and 1500 people, which area can be said to be more populous?

Finally, what are the criteria to be considered when using a satellite for demographic purposes?

Donzmann is correct. You need to get up from your couch and travel. You need to see things for yourself. Onitsha is very densily populated because the commercial activities there. So Akure being the capital of a state is nonsense and cannot explain why it shuold be more populated than Onitsha. And You should get yourselve updated in Geography of Nigeria because i think you are still relying on 1960 Geography textbooks to butress your argument. Relying on satellites to justify population figures is very misleading. the satellites will not show the human beings but physical infrastructures. Onitsha and Nnewi might have a smaller geographical area but human population. So Nigeriaone try and get your facts right.

I manage a cafe. Recently the computer where i installed cyber timer just shits down suddenly, as if somebody yanked out the power cable. It has been happening. I am suspecting motherboard problem or what do you guys think? It does not give any message whatsoever.

I had the same problem and i used the following steps to solve my problem:

I have two account : the administrator profile ( where u can modify and install programmes and the client profile ( which is restrictive in modification). The Virus attacked my Client profile while my administrator's account remained unaffected. I logged into the admin account and deleted the Client account and restarted the computer ( usually deleted account recreats itself automatically). After restart, immediately update your Anti-Virus

This is the method i used and it solved my problem. If the administrator account is affected, then the computer will have to be formatted.

Sometimes whenever I want to send a mail on Yahoo! Mail through Internet Explorer I get this "error on page" message.

I also had the same problem. But what i did was to reinstall internet explorer. Just download the internet explorer 6 and run it on your computer. It worked for me.

I formatted it and it is okay. Now i can have a good night sleep. Thanks everyone.

Scribe is correct. download the apprioorate patch for the worm infection. I once has the problem i just went to microsoft centre and got the patch( i am using win2000).
