With the holidays (today and Oct 01), do you think that affects the number of working days for french embassy or they would typically count those as working days in calculating turnaround time since it's not a french holiday?

Hi everyone, happy new month. I have a pressing concern. The hotel I booked for my travel intends to debit my card by 7th of this month. I wouldn’t want to be debited before I get the visa and I am sure that I am travelling so I don’t waste money.

Please has anyone been in this situation? What did you do? Did you cancel and rebook or change the date? If I cancel and rebook the booking number will change and that will affect my documentation to the embassy when they reach out to the hotel to confirm my accommodation booking. I would really appreciate your insights.

Those 2 guys were venting and rightly so, but may not have meant "commot ladder wen dem use climb up". You'd be surprised that they are supporting their siblings or relatives to relocate except they don't have any eligible siblings to support, or no other siblings.

If you already have an ITA, submit your application. My funds were not up to 3 weeks in my account at the point of submission and I got PPR in 2.5 months after submitting. The key here is to make sure you can explain the sources of the funds in a letter of explanation and attach any relevant documentation. For mine, I wrote an LOE and included a table showing breakdown of the different funds and their respective sources e.g. year-end bonus, payslip for my husband and I and evidence of sale of USDT (a crypto). I attached all the supporting docs to my LOE and I didn’t have any issues with my application. IRCC doesn’t expressly say 6 months old funds just that you must be able to convince them that your funds are free from any encumbrance (i.e. not borrowed).

Please have anyone experienced this before. I had an appointment rescheduled to July 29. Much later when I logged in again to check, I realized it's been changed to August 30. Please what do I do to get back the July date cos I have exhausted the rescheduling option.

Me: she is currently working at**** however she will be visiting me anytime she is on leave. Besides her international passport is not ready yet.

VO: make sure you process her passport for her and her F2 form

Me: Yes ma.

VO: I can see you have another fully-funded Ph.D. scholarship at Southern Illinois and I can see you are coming back to Nigeria to work at your Alma mater ( I added it on a reason why denied).

VO: Everything looks good, I will be approving your VISA.

I know some reapplicants were approved in Lagos o and they chose Regular cause no date has been open in the refused portal. Are you sure your contact told the whole truth about their DS-160? The visa officers don’t even deal with checking appointments. That is done before you enter the visa interview room. Reapplicants were given visa on Friday. Please check with your contact again so that we can know what really happened cause some people in same shoes as your contact had their visa approved in the same Lagos on 10th June.

I guess they just started it. This happened June 10 at the Lagos embassy.

The person acted on general info of choosing regular for the same reason that dates aren't popping up. wasn't even interviewed at all, straight blue paper

Good evening all, please I need some urgent advice. I applied for EA on Tuesday and it was approved on Thursday. But since that Thursday I have been seeing dates after my start date which is August 22. The first date I saw was August 23 but now all I am getting is September dates and my EA approval is set to expire tomorrow 13th of June. What can I do to get a close date?

Reapply for your visa, there will be emergency request for you sir/ma and ill be glad to help for the interview
