PeaceJoyLove: The joke is on you because you do not understand making clean money I wrote in my post. To you, making money anyhow is making money. Escobar made billions and was the richest man in his days. But the truth is that making honest peanuts is harder than the billions Escobar made. How did he end?
Do not do yahoo, and dont think politics or public office is making clean money. Go and hustle and do clean business. Build your own refinery and let us know who you are. Can Soludo boldly declare his assets if you claim he is rich? Like Obi Panora, like Soludo? Lol
The joke is on you if you think think clean money is easy. I will put his salary on table and ask him where he got his money from. From where? Shut the crap up and learn what it is to make clean money.
Listen, multiply all his money by 100,000, Dangote will still gove him change that will complete his refinery. You dont know what is money.
Kids of these days. so dangote's money is clean money? Moreover in the OP I quoted, you never said anything about clean money, you wrote as though, soludo is broke |
Politics › Re: Soludo: I Became A Professor In My 30s, Achieved Everything I Wanted In My 30s by plat0: 9:51am On Nov 11, 2021 |
PeaceJoyLove: Tell Soludo that achieving professorship in his 30s does not define true godliness. After all, he is not a genius who went to Ivy League at 10. There are many who will do far better if they have the opportunity he had. They would become professor at 25. Yes, I know this. Let him just be grateful for the opportunity he had. There are many who would perform better than him.
Also, let him know that mere men put him as the gov of Anambra, so he should stop running his mouth. He has tried to become the gov on the platform of thieves (PDP and co), but failed. He is the gov cos he went to APGA the real ibo party. He humbled himself and got it. Let him not allow pride set in now.
Let him know that "money is King". After all he was a CBN gov. Let him read all the books in this world, and I can assure him that without money, he is dead on arrival. Let him go talk where Otedola, Adenuga, and Dangote are. Of course he will always say "yes sir" to these people even despite he is going to be a gov, and those ones have just Bachelor degree. Obiona wh o is handing over to him is becoming a mere man again. Let him ask okorocha who was a god then, and then see how his predecessor is treating his f.ck up.
To be able to make clean money at 90 is harder than becoming becoming a professor at 20. So Soludo should keep shut. Let him get to work, and deliver his promised mandate to his people. In 4 years, we will score him. He has shown to know about economics, and he tried when he was the CBN gov. But this isbmanahing the wealth of others. He has not shown to be able to create wealth by himself which is harder than having 200 PhD degrees. After all without these people who made money, professors cannot be paid, and they cannot get any research going. They are servants of business men who learned to make money. So, Soludo should shut up.
Lastly tell Soludo that a brilliant professor like him is presently an errand boy in Aso Rock. Lol. So, he should shut the crap up. Being a prof does not mean he is going to achieve greatness in this life. Let him talk after 4 years. As far as I am concerned, he is nobody.
Note that I believe he is the right person to lead Anambra presently, and I gave him my support. But I will not mince my words when he needs to be slammed. Don't you think he is as rich as those guys. Joke is on you if you think a former CBN governor is broke. He doesn't have to steal public funds to be wealthy, men of his caliber are privy to money making information. |

BRATISLAVA: If you aren't recruitment, how do you know the criteria used in employing females? It's not an argument, but a search for the truth.
This area is full of too much myth and very much personal sentiment. Someone (factually) mentioned he deals with ATS, and gender is one of the things excluded from the selection process to keep it fair.
So how is it then stated as fact that females are employed through watered down processes, while males have full scrutiny? Is that how recruitment works? Is tech divided into male and female tasks? Or is inclusion the watering down?
If you have answers, feel free to let us know. As I said, this is all about learning. Do you work in tech or you just want to argue for the fun of it. Females are treated preferentially in tech and I've experienced it twice this year. I'm in a closed tech group, the seniors are always willing to take in females under their tutelage, junior guys are left to find their path. Few weeks ago, a senior DevOps engineer in our network specifically requested for a female for immediate employment, a female acquaintance applied and she got in notwithstanding the fact that she had minimal DevOps experience. |

Thats my issue with most mobile banks... For the most part they're straightforward but when you have issues, it could take sometime to get help...
They should optimise their customer care or eorse still, introduce a subscription service where folks can get same day response when needed. She did not effect any transaction but 400k was removed from her account. |

Did u have a bad experience? There has been numerous complaint about their customer service/support. A friend lost 400k, when she called to register her displeasure, the rep said there was nothing they could do about it, if it was a traditional bank, she could have easily walked in to resolve the issue. |

martyns303: Let them go…. They will soon find out it’s not all roses . Not even America or Canada but UK! UK that will tax everything back, they will earn the money, and spend it all on tax, accommodation, transportation, electricity, heating and many many expenses and at the end of the month, they will be left with nothing.
Nigeria is not a rich country when compared to the west, in Nigeria how many people actually take their health seriously and go to the hospital or willing to pay good money for medical services. Medical services are ridiculously high in the west, that’s how they are able to generate revenue to be able to pay better. As a country, yes there’s corruption, but we are making do with the best we have.
And before anybody comes for me, I am also a professional, I have lived in the UK, SA, UAE and recently US. I still will rather work in Nigeria. The salary is really small |

tensazangetsu20: Most of then can't code shit trust me. Out of those that signed up for hng go and see how many Complete it less than 50. I have someone I know personally he has been on this various forms of bootcamps like hng and Zuri since 2017. He cant code HTML. He even posted on his Facebook that he has joined another bootcamp that's 4 years from bootcamp to bootcamp. You see them on social media and you feel everyone is doing the same thing Lori iro.
I also did engineering and C and C++ were our core courses. All we spent a semester learning was how to declare variable and write simple functions to add two numbers and such. Absolutely everyone today that graduated in my set does not remember how to declare a variable in C or C++. Social media gives a very false illusion of something. My course mates work with modern frameworks and languages, some of them work for Deimos cloud and other big establishments abroad earning as much as $30/hr, that's a lot of cash, because of the strides those few guys made in IT, the overwhelming majority of the class code and they are not here to play. I didn't really go far in my first attempt at coding for some reasons but on my second attempt, I put in the work and the time because of the cash and the rest is history. Just have a plan B, web developers are everywhere now and they are easily replaceable. I won't say much.. |

tensazangetsu20: One thing you need to understand is that as technology improves, they would be more IT fields. As of 2008, there was nothing like blockchain development. Today it's one of the fastest growing fields. Even web development has changed so much. There didn't even use to be any JavaScript frameworks like ten years ago and see what is happening today. Can you compare mobile development in 2004 on Symbian and java phones to what we have today. Trust me everything we are doing today will be completely changed in the next 10 years.
Mathematics can be learnt. If I was Interested in AI and want to know advanced mathematics there's so many amazing courses and apps like brilliant. We fear mathematics in Nigeria so much because of how we are taught. If you were taught mathematics like a child in Japan you will never fear it.
IT field can never be saturated ever. Forget it. It can't happen. Bro, it's getting saturated, the barrier of entry is low, more than half of my course mates code(That's just one engineering department in a federal school). I'm already working on specializing in a niche that is not renowned and you do a lot of publicity for web development on nairaland, nairaland as a platform has a far reaching effect on carrier choices in Nigeria. Do you have an idea of the number of persons that signed up for HNG internship? |

jedisco: Most times I use bitc0in to guage the valuation of the market... There are a number of models out there which have proven to be quite accurate.. one is tge stock-to-flow model, another is the logarithmic growth curve... You can find them on the website lookintobitc0in. Also, moving averages are useful... Especially on the weekly charts...
Movement of alyts will depend largely on what bitc0in does... So with alyts, I prefer to time trading them based on where the market cycle is and what bitc0in is doing at the time Too complex. When you take all these things into consideration, at some point you'd be swayed by the school of thought that Crypt0 is just a glorified Ponzi scheme. |
