when the PDP was at the center, greedy Nigerians were being deported from Arab countries and south Africa for drug related offences. You guys bring politics into everything, at this rate Nigeria is irredeemable.

What I mean is APC brought in the disastrous economic hardship in Nigeria's history, making people seek for refuges to anywhere possible even without financial supports, I'm not trying to play politics here understand
Nigerians have been selling drugs before APC, if our preferred candidate had won, people will still sell drugs.

It's for holidays only, so business & others can go in, why they did this because Nigerians can easily go in there for holiday then go on a hideout for life, Nigeria has now become too toxic for everyone including the other Africans whom they claim giant upon, #DisasterAPC
I'm not a supporter of APC but did APC instruct Nigerians to peddle drugs? I don't understand why you guys bring politics into everything. Ordinary Nigerians are opportunist regardless of their political or religious affiliation.

I enjoyed all of the wire. But sadly it showed some things are just fked up. That guy who ran for mayor only to find the city was bankrupt and he was expected to manage the situation until he could run for governor 4 years down the line.

And I enjoyed the hell out of omar little. And his inevitable end.
Made me watch some other shows feat Micheal k Williams.
I didn't like the Omar character, favorite characters in no particular order; Stringer bell(idris Elba) he obtained a higher degree in Economics to promote his trade, Avon and D'Angelo Barksdale, prop joe(heard he's dead in real life, reminded me of cubana chief priest,Lieutenant Donald, Frank Sobotka and detective lester. The series was really nice overall

As a guy who worked in an industry with a strong union, I appreciated the hell out of season 2.with a union boss who went all out for his guys
Frank Sobotka? Funny enough, I prefer season 2. I couldn't go past season 3. I watched the series because someone recommended it here, I liked Sobotka acting, some of the characters in the wire were featured in the Deuce. Little finger from GOT also featured in the wire.

The truth is the three frontrunners would have produced the same result in their first year. Buhari was just useless and nonchalant. Governors that served in Buhari's time are probably the richest since 1999

I am a realist, an economy expert and an FX industry key player too even though I am an engineer by first profession.

I deal on FX on a daily basis.

My desire is for it to work out fine but I am just pointing out some loopholes.

Tinubu seems to have good intentions to surprise we his critics but he seems much in a rush in doing some of his good policies without proper planning and preparations.

If it works out fine, that will be awesome and a big plus for him, I will become one of his fans.

Its unfortunate my influence haven't reached the level of getting national attention, I would have published an article to guide Tinubu and his economic team on some of these policies and how to ensure they don't fail at the end
Do you know more than his economic team? Why are you so quick to predict doom and gloom. They have done their calculations and decided to float the naira but someone that has no access to the information and documents at their disposal says the country will burn.

What I mean is that; the original port were the fishing camps and grounds of the Wakirike-Ijaw group, in what is now known as port Harcourt. As the port grew mainly because of the coal and later the transportation of crude from oloibiri. There was need for expansion, place like rebisi, nkopgu, rumuomasi, oroemizgbu, Diobu where assimilated into Port Harcourt city to form greater port Harcourt.

So saying only the ikeweres are owners of port Harcourt is a big misinformation. And should be corrected. It is co-owner by the Ikweres and Wakirikes.
Read his write up again, he said PHAlGA is almost entirely ikwerre land and he's right, There are 20 wards in PHALGA and over 15 are ikwerre areas.

I supported obi at some point but when you try to ask questions or put him on the spotlight, some of his overzealous supporters use harsh words on you. I read seyi makinde and Osinbanjo asset declaration a couple of years ago and I could see the millions of dollars they had in eurobond funds, I could see the properties seyi had in Texas, UK, Nigeria, South Africa, I could see the oil and gas assets he had in Nigeria, in Osinbanjos case, I could see the quantity of MTN shares he owned directly and his properties in ikoyi and the UK. I watched laundromat about 3 years ago and from that movie only people with sordid past or people with skeletons in their cupboards hide cash in tax havens, obi obviously got richer after his stint as governor, some things about him are always shrouded in secrecy, he's always trying to appear like a saint. If you're discerning you'd know that he's a crook, can any of his core supporters here furnish me with an article of his asset declaration? Just like Osinbanjo and makinde asset declaration are publicly available. You see obi is a banker , an experienced finance person, he can always come out to say he never stole money, just like soludo, Sanusi Lamido and off course Emefiele.

There are roads that would cost more than other roads to build because of the conditions associated with it.

What you can furnish us with is the documents for these contracts since you believe that he stole through construction of roads.

Prove he stole to us and don't come and be using blanket calculation.
I don't know how the madness that happened in imo has to do with anambra.

Ibime can we see your evidence for anambra state only showing how Obi stole and not what happened in Imo state.
Do you have evidence that Tinubu, GEJ, Fashola, Amaechi, Wike, okowa and a host of other governors are theives?

Ruminate on the above for now. Later on I'd post more details about the violence in Rivers State, and Port Harcourt specifically.

I'm not going to let you muddy the waters with whataboutism and strawman arguments. I do facts only anyone can verify.

-----------
For those who don't know, what is today Port Harcourt is a merger of different LGAs (Port Harcourt LGA, Obio Akpor LGA, Ikwerre LGA, and parts of Eleme and Emohua LGAs). (Notice how I am detailed with exact places right to the 't'? Yeah.)

Port Harcourt and Obio Akpor LGAs are the very hearts of Port Harcourt. Supposedly the most civilized and "most peaceful" of the state (don't miss the quotation marks, please).

Later on, guys, I'd do an exposé of some sort on both LGAs - the very center of PH City.

Let's all condemn gang culture. Too many lives have been ruined. Too many.

Where are you from or where do you live?

Drop it here and I'll provide links of killings in the last 12 days.

Directors and Heads of Depts in Multinationals still japa.

My friend works in a Multinational an earns 300k told me her HOD that earns millions a month, japad to Canada. So what is your point, sir?

I have asked you how we can pay these doctors what they rightfully deserve, and all of una dey write story everywhere

Okay, doctors deserve £1,000 a week. How do we pay them this money?

Your next reply go be epistle
I've been reading comments on this thread and the opposing side is yet to proffer a viable solution to the question you asked, I get tired and sick of reading comments of Nigerians online, they criticize everything, when you ask them to come up with solutions, they write more bullshiit, how much can you possibly pay Nigerian doctors to prevent them from leaving Nigeria? Please be realistic, can you pay doctors $5k - $10k monthly in Nigeria? I'm sure if the government offers to pay around that range 80% will still japa as the funding for japa would have been made easier. I'm not in support of the bill, people pay almost nothing to get a medical degree compared to their counterparts in developed countries, what can we possibly and realistically do as a country to curtail the rate of japa in the medical field?

This is what I would do differently. I will create a business oriented atmosphere, entise those phones and car companies to have their assembly in Nigeria, cut down cost on running government, introduce so many avenues to generate money into the country other than oil, get a working refinery in the God damn country!
Are you saying all the countries in Africa are not conducive for businesses? For you information, Nigerian economy is diversified, peter obi himself attested to that fact in one of debates before the elections. Those companies will still have to send their profits to their country in hard currency, how many Nigerians buy new cars? Even when the economy was fairly good, Nigeria was still a dumping ground for fairly used cars. You see our leaders are big thieves but till the end of time except there is an adjustment, Africa will always be disadvantaged. Kindly cite one African country that is in the league of US, UK, Canada, Germany and other developed countries. I read a publication yesterday that says the Nigerian government owes foreign airlines about $800M. They were unable to repatriate their cash after doing business in Nigeria.

I'm not holding brief for any politician but when I come online I see people insulting men at the helm in government. If you were in their shoes what will you do differently please?

From where I'm standing our problem is beyond governance, the way the world is structured Africa is going to be in poverty for a long time, majority of products needed for sustainability are produced abroad, from your phones, to your cars, equipments for your industries and power plants, heavy duty machines, pharmaceuticals, down to your social media. Nigerians and Africans in extension will continue to wail about bad leadership. Call me a pessimist but it is what it is. Life is not fair and the way life is designed, one side has to be repressed for the other side to blossom.

No, not at all. The land itself is safe.

This year, if we remove election violence, the only( I stand to be corrected) major crimes we've had happened on Rumuokoro flyover where two policemen were killed and a cult clash in Diobu where two cultists lost thier lives.

Most guys these days are either into politics, bunkery or are pressing thier laptops. Everyone wants to drive the latest cars and carry the most beautiful girls.

please ask them, which state is safe in Nigeria? We were here, some thugs wrote letters to estates and communities in Lagos to inform the residents of an attack, I'm not sure it has happened here before. Rivers has a reputation for violence, the government has to embark on a PR to reinvent the states image.
