Claiming here that nigerians "are dangerously racist" is just silly. If you read the comments from  the chinses ppl you would see that we are just repsonding to their hatefull comments. Most black 'racists' are just people who are sick of all the bs.

The average Black men doesn't give a damn who black women are dating. Seriously. Most are too busy thanking the lord for white girls to care if chinese men get african women.  The 'racism' you see from nigerians is usaly just a response to racism from the other ethnic groups they worship.

I strongly suggest any local government with any valuable resources in nigeria fight with all their might to prevent the exploitation of their resources.

I know personally that if they tried to extract the nat gas from my region I wouldn't have any qualms about blowing up thier facilitys.

But you have to keep in mind that black people forgive and forget way easier than other racial groups.

Remember that many Irish hated the British for the potato famine, massacres, colonization etc up until WWII. While Africans have already started worshiping them again. And wasting time begging Europeans to stop disliking us.

If all the energy black people have spent trying to end racism was spent making Africa livable and bettering our communities and culture, Africa would be a great place [i]and [/i]racism against black people would reduce greatly.

Interracial couples and children are beautiful but if you notice black people always get the short end of the stick. We don't insult and hate mixed race people, we treat them better than everyone else. In china they are hated. Parents disown their children for dating black people.

I find that usually the men from a dominant ethnic group take the most attractive females from the weaker group. Like white men, Thomas Jefferson  for example, taking a black mistress. It was frowned upon, but not as much as if a black man were to take an attractive white woman. 

In Africa, as we now Learn, the Chinese are the dominant ethnic group. These Chinese/African marriages are not as unusual as the article is making it out to be. Self hating North Sudanese women often get with Chinese contruction workers so they can have lighter skinned children.

Anyway im a Nigerian guy, about your age, and i don't think we are really choosy when it comes to ethnicity, and you look very Nigerian. Now it is true that many African men have a sort of bias against African Americans but its not racial its cultural. I know a half A.A half African women that dates many Africans.
Its possible that those guys were [i]pretending [/i]not to be interested, I do that sometimes and it works wonders  

Btw are these guys born in the U.S or Nigeria or the U.S that makes a huge difference.

If you want to see the bias against africa, look at an aljazeera series called "Africa states of independance" then compare it to the typical BBC coverage.

The aljazeera program shows balanced coverage of the african countries and despite the typical subject matter it showed the beauty in countries like Chad and DR. Congo instead of one sided uglyness.

i think i can answer that. actually if they stayed together, the country will destabilise further, because after they had d partition thing, all d fanatical moslems left for the new country (pakistan) and all the not-fanatic ones, stayed back.

thats d reason why today, pakistans suffering a lot (daily bomb blasts, failed government, etc), while India with its diverse ad not-so fanatic population, is progressing.

followed closely (I was actually surprised), by South Africa at 16%. as for India, only 0.30 % suffer from AIDS

Yes, those countries have the largest Percentage of people with aids but India has the largest number of people with aids living in it. If you have a country with say 100 people and and 10 have aids the percentage will be high but the number very low. But in a country with say 900 million and 2 million have aids the number will be huge but the percentage small.

We must remember not to generalize on things like this, so you have got to find out from your boyfriend himself. Yea Nairaland has a very vibrant Somali community  . Somalilife, sara24, and african1 are some that i can think of. We've got some pretty good conversations going in the Racism tribalism sectarianism  section.

Probably the most famous west African ethnic group is the Hausa. Their language is used all over W. Africa and the Sahel, some of them even live in Sudan. The Hausa are predominately Islamic and usually very hard-core Muslims. In Nigeria they are paired up with the Fulani who typically herd cattle, in the Northern part of the country.

In the South you have the majority Igbo in the East who are christian and extremely business oriented and they Know how to make money legitimately or illegitimately  . And in the west you have the Yoruba who are half christian half Muslim. There lots of other minority groups throughout the country but those are the main ones.

The official language is English in Nigeria but French in all the neighboring countries, and every country is west Africa either speaks French or English. And we all eat basicaly the same types of food. ( which i must admitt is not the best lol)

Well then why do they look different?
