TV/MoviesRe: When Will Nollywood Start Acting Action Movies? by pleep(m): 9:32pm On Jun 03, 2011
No, the problem is money. A movie like clash of the titans cost millions in tech, props etc. Those costs are defrayed a week after the movie is relased because there are 300 million Americans who make an average of 50k usd a yr and have alot of free time. Clash of the Titans cost about 12 dollars to see in theater, mulitply that by like say 12 million people, and you see why these expensive action movies get mad in America.

Or look at the movie titanic which 250 million people saw. . .

once Nigerians get that sort of buying power the quality of "nollywood" will increase.
BusinessRe: London Retailer Shop Adopts Hausa Language To Woo Customers by pleep(m): 9:22pm On Jun 03, 2011
The mistake the GON made in the 70's was educating people without creating jobs for them. The governement was even paying for students to go abroad and study before SAP. When the educated people came back there was nothing, And the the oil boom turned into the oil doom. . . .
FoodRe: How To Choose The Perfect Steak. by pleep(op): 9:12pm On Jun 03, 2011
^^^ haha yea, using a medical syringe on food feels really weird. But they do make food sryinges, the needle is a little bit bigger and it feels more normal. But if you have the time you could prolly just let the seasoning sit on the meat for several hours til it soaks in.

CultureRe: Gay Culture Gains Ground On Nigerian Varsity Campuses by pleep(m): 11:50pm On Jun 02, 2011
^^^But inked nerd seeing as 1.9 out of 2 africans has Aids, and 3430 trillion Africans die of Aids every second wouldn't you say that homosexuality can be exceptionaly distructive in Africa?

The intolerance of homosexuality also lowers the incidence of homsexually behaviors. It has been proven that homosexuality facilitates the spread if HIV.
That is why homophobia is good in the African context.

These Gay activists in Europe who try and spread gay culture around the globe don't take into account the fact that some societies have not developed to that point yet. And it does more harm than good
