revomind:
Its impossible to prove since we are on nairaland. Revomind's claims must not be believed. Believe whatever you want to believe. I know Southern Kaduna guys, yes, the ones y'all love to deride as 'chongai' who were banging fulani babes on a steady note back then. In fact, one of em that I know was banging the emir of zazzau's niece on an assured level. I guess that wouldn't count since she falls into the Kaduna bracket and it can't be possibly be proven here. Maybe we used charms. Who knows?
haha, you might want to delete that!

You guys are rediculous!  grin Is it so hard to belive that Revomind banged a fulani girl?  They are only human, and every human has temptations, especially sheltered girls in colledge. Who knows, this bruva could look like Denzel Washington.
FoodRe: Steak Lovers by pleep(m): 6:13pm On Jun 01, 2011
Nigerians like burnt meat so much, Haha if this was an American forum almost no one would have voted for well done. grin. Medium steaks DO NOT HAVE PARISITES. I used to worry about same thing, but it wont hurt you, they have done many tests on this.
Plus medium rare is so much better, because when you overcook steak it gets too tough and all the intra-mucular fat is burned off (thats what makes meat taste good). If you try and cook a good expensive peice of steak like Fillet Mignon well done you should be imprisioned! tongue

You can even eat rare steak and it wont hurt you, some people even eat blue rare witch is basically raw meat and looks like this:

the picture is so detailed. . . .  grin

ME

I need a steak recipe plz
Sorry for taking so long to reply lol. . .

But anyway, that depends on what type your cooking. I would recommend fillet of sirloin, or T-bone/porterhouse. But avoid eye of round, its cheap for a reason tongue

Alright so, if i was cooking fillet of sirloin, about an 1.5 inches thick, i like to cover one side with flavored meat tenderizer and let it sit for about 15 mins. - this is after it has been defrosted to room temp. (leave it outside in the sun for like 2 hrs.)

Then you get a cup of hot salt water and a syringe. Fill the syringe with the salt water and inject it evenly into the meat. This works excellently with thicker pieces of steak.

Then i like to cover both sides with salt and pepper- Be generous because alot comes off during cooking.
If your feeling adventurous also add parsly and garlic with the salt/pepper generously on the side you didn't put the meat tenderizer and let it sit for a while.

Fillet of sirloin is best cooked on a skillet IMO. Heat the pan to medium heat and wait till it gets hot. For a 1.5 inch steak (which is unusually thick) 2.5 minutes on each side is medium rare. For a 1 inch steak i would suggest maybe 2 mins, try to turn only once. (remember this must be from room temp)

And that should be good. . . . grin wow I'm hungry now.

The scene from American History X with the Kerb, for a week I was scarred by that scene, made me shiver whenever I remembered it. Have not watched the film again because of it. Too hardcore.

TV/MoviesRe: Favorite Movie Scenes - As Many As You Can Think Of by pleep(m): 2:40am On Jun 01, 2011
This is a great topic, there are some movie scenes that are so brilliant they can give you chills from your head to your toe. My favorite that i can remember must be Scarface- the scene where all Pacino's character goes crazy with the machine gun.

Forest Gump- when Forest and Jenny are praying in the corn field " Lord make me a bird, so i can fly far, far far away from here.

gladiator was an incredible movie but i think the best scene is the first 'battle in germania'.

braveheart- when mel gibson is being tortured and yells- "feeeeeedom"

Pirates of the caribean- when Davy jones in playing on the pipe organ, and the scene when Jack sparrow is eaten by the craken.

the man in the iron mask- when the musketeers change the kings guards.

300- every single battle scene

Titanic- The love scene in the Rolls Royce, incredible. Also, the scene when Jack paints Ruths picture, first time i ever saw bosoms in a movie tongue.

Some Chinese people are regretting the one child policy because now china is like 80% male, and very soon the population will start dropping drastically.
