TravelRe: FG Protests To Canadian Embassy On Poor Treatment Of Nigerians by plendil: 5:25pm On Sep 02, 2012
Sisi_Kill: It's gotta be something in the water. . .how else do you explain how the Govt consistently gets it wrong?

Instead of wondering why Nigerians are seeking Visas out of the country in droves, they are asking Canadians to treat them right.

God!! undecided
I don't think the FG got it wrong here. that Nigerians have turned the Canadian Embassy to their second home is no reason to treat them badly.
RomanceRe: No Pre-marital Sex, No Pre-marital Money: Will Ladies Agree? by plendil: 8:34am On Sep 01, 2012

I don't know why some peeps here are overreacting. An unconscious admission of guilt perhaps? lipsrsealed grin

BusinessRe: Picture Of Biggest Private Mansion In Nigeria? by plendil: 3:56pm On Aug 20, 2012
anonimi: Does anyone know of the philantropic works of the speculated owners- Elumelu brothers or Nuel Ojeihuh
How many schools have they built for the less fortunate in Issele Uku and Delta state generally like Oprah Winfrey did for South African girlshuh
How have they contributed to the reduction of preventable diseases in their home town etc like Bill Gates is doing for polio and TB in Nigeria as well as other African countrieshuh
How does their old primary school, secondary school and universities look likehuh - I am assuming they had their education at these levels in Nigeria.
How much have they donated for refurbishing/rehabilitating/maintaining the old structures where they sat in as pupils/students to gain the knowledge that made them what they are todayhuh
How many new buildings, furniture etc have they given to these old schoolshuh
When they invite their big friends from all over the world to Issele Uku for their i-don-arrive parties what will they see around the town in terms of infrastructures- tarred roads, hospitals, pharmacies, police force/security, fire brigade etchuh

we have a govermnmrent whose duty it is to provide all these.
TravelRe: Lagos Hotels 2nd Most Expensive Globally – Research By The Hogg Robinson Group by plendil: 3:54pm On Aug 20, 2012
dejustice: Am sure, Abuja Hotels were not considered.
I don't think so. apart from transorp hilton, and perhaps bolton white, Abuja does not really have five star hotels. the reason is not far fetched: Abuja is made up of mainly of salary earning civil servants, the type of people unlikely to patronize those hotels with cut throat prices.

but in lagos, you have businessmen, oil tycoons, etc, guys with money to burn.
