marioioidp: Thunderlicious: Lovine: cruzita:SMH for our educational system. You people need to check up the meaning of the word 'cumulative'. |
The theme for this year is "getting to zero: end AIDS by 2030." It might look ambitious, but if the current strides can be stepped up, especially the adoption of the new WHO guideline on 'test and treat' (not waiting first for the CD4 to crash), there are hopes significant progress can be made. One of the best ways of preventing PLWHA from spreading the virus it is to ensure they are all on ARVs. Indeed UNAID reports the number of people on ARVS doubled since 2010, while incidents of new cases have fallen by 35% since 2000. The first step, of course, is to get tested. Cheerfully, there are still many centers scattered across the country where this is done free of charge. Time to act is NOW!! |
@topic no be small thing oo. Local station has been announcing the suspension virtually non-stop, and they emphasis seems to be on 'unruly behaviour' |
Baboo vs faustina epic!! Seriously laffing my as$ off here. |
funnily she's one of his staunchest supporter. many saw her appointment as "special adviser in charge of Lagos Liaison Office" (??) as simply a means of rewarding her loyalty. I guess she started taking him for granted. |
Its really sad to say, but PMB has been a monumental, unparalleled disappointment. Why we seem as a country to be perennially burdened with poor leadership is simply beyond me. |
chubbygal:I regularly follow those routes, esp Wuse 2, but its mostly females prostis i see, not males. Moreover, its relatively easy to identify a female pros, but how do you know a male pros?? |
Can this really be true?? I doubt it. Japan is a secular country, so i guess they would frown at any form of extremism, not just Islam. You should be aware Japan relies heavily on exports to sustain its economy, be it electronics, automobiles, etc, and they enjoy considerable patronage from these Islamic countries. Should the latter in retaliation choose avoid Japanese products, they (Japan) would be worse off. |
buhahaha:The nerve of it. Putting Nelson Mandela and that Kanu in the same sentence is as sacrilegious as it gets. PLEASE STOP THAT!! ![]() Just for the records, I have nothing against your 'hero' and wish him all the best. But he should check his language. You want secession? do quietly. You want to burn down your neighbor's house in order to build yours? It is only a wicked, evil, callous set of people that would do that. |
bugzbunny:When the imbeccile openly calls for the downfall of Nigeria, what do you expect? When the creetin unabashedly calls for the annihilation of other tribes, you expect them to keep quiet? If you want to secede, do so quietly and dont wish others evil. simple |
Hmm. Nice hips, good curves. Idoho dey chop no be small!! ![]() |
This is truly terrible news if true. Highly disturbing. I sincerely pray it not true. But even more disturbing is that fact that, on this thread, one can clearly detect the open glee from some diseased elements obviously wishing OP's claim were true. sad |
These are not the bodies of soldiers killed just a few days ago. Unless there is some substance that hastened the decomposition. PErhaps a swamp or chemical. |
If it were a manual, I would have recommended the primera. I drive one myslef, and can attest to its ruggedness. however becuae of the auto -ish, avoid. Go for accord. |
CHEI!!!! The way the bride position her hands. . .what of he ends up. . . ![]() pickabeau1:Yeah, I've listened to pastor who encouraged newly weds, on their first night, to place hands over each other's genitals make a vow of mutual fidelity and then pray for strength to keep it. However this was to be done behind closed doors. The above picture is clearly inappropriate for a church setting. |
chinchum:Great post. I totally our agree our government is doing nearly enough by way of enlightenment. However the free birth controls are already available in most health centres, but the education needs to be stepped up. Most are currently being done by NGOs. As a country we are not overpopulated per say, the problem is simply too many poor people having too many children. I know some people have problems with such statements as it seems we want deny poor people the right to children. that of course is not true. From our interactions we found that the problem is mostly with the men. Quite a number of the women are usually willing to try out the birth controls; but the excuse is "oga no go gree". Its not just that he wants to savor the feeling of 'skin to skin', he actually wants his wife pregnant again and again! Even if he cannot provide for his family, he can at least still impregnate his wife!! really sad |
hian!! 60% ROI?? |
OP gave some good advice, but I have issues with some of them: #5:. Insist on tested blood If you ever need a blood transfusion, then insist on only using blood that has beenHow do you expect a layman to know if its screened or not? Furthermore it has to be done with a special type of screening, not the usual rapid tests. However, I'm finding hard to believe any hospital/clinic, etc, in this day and age, with the massive campaigns and enlightenment, will transfuse blood not screened. #7:Get treated for HIV immediately If you had s’ex with someone and start to feel flu-like symptoms soon afterwards, then get tested immediately. The newer HIV medications being used can actually help to stop the infection if it is caught soon enough. The sooner you get tested, the better your chances of stopping the infectiontotally false. You get tested FIRST before considering and form of PEP. Even at that its only effective for the first few hours after infection. |
lahips:This is not true for the most part. These birth control measures are provided absolutely FREE OF CHARGE in most hospitals and even primary gealth care centers. I know because my organisation is involved in the provision of free condoms, pills, injectables, which are sponsored by UNFPA. But these people refuse. So its not so much poverty of the pocket as it is poverty of the mind (ignorance). The reasons vary of course, but from my interactions the cross cutting ones are: 1.The more the better. Its a sign of prestige, blessing or status. (That the poor creatures look tattered and unkempt apparently doesnt matter!) 2.Its God's gift, so HE will always provide 3.its the job of govt to provide for his children 5.chances that some may die before adulthood, so it better to have more 6. deep rooted cultural-religious abhorrence for any form of birth control. |
OP raised fundamental issues, but rather than tackle them, he is being castigated. In abakaliki where I work, there's a road known as 'looters avenue'. The reason is not far fetched: the kinds of houses seen there would easily deceive one into thinking one is in some developed 1st world country. The striking fact is almost all of those houses belong to career politicians who had little or nothing before the return of democracy in 1999. Apparently, they see nothing wrong in a commissioner owning a house worth over 500 million, and this is the midst of such blinding poverty in the state. In Trans-Ekulu, Enugu state, just after NNPC, there is a multi-million mega structure also owned by a popular politician. This is in the midst of poverty. Let us go to Abia state and see the horror perpetuated by Orji against his fellow people. Its obviously easier to blame the Yoruba and Hausa man for the woes of the region, when right before our very eyes, corrupt, callous politicians of Igbo extraction plundered the region. Oh sorry I forgot, they must be efulefu. ![]() That somehow the formation of boundaries around "Igbo territory" would automatically transform your greedy politicians into angels has to be biggest form of delusion yet seen. |
No mind them. Guys falling hand since 1324AD. ![]() Guy: "Pleeeeaseee I'll put it in for only 2 mins" Babe: "Shu! I don turn microwave ni?" |
theshield:You cut us off and then what happens? |
surprised nissan skyline didnt make the list |
LOL! And this was the same governor who refused to slash his salary as others were, claiming it would be of no significance. The sad part is most of the work in some of these hospitals are done by the youth corp members. |
That number is quite on the high side.. anyway... allow me to present this wonderful product...
