Jayne07: By the time you’re done with IELTS and Wes, it will be two years. So use 2 years. And make sure you max out on your scores in IELTS |

So I just received my MEP/BIL yesterday. Haven’t done biometric yet and I received an email of an update. I checked and noticed my UCI number has changed. Does anyone know what it means? I’m not bothered, just curious 1 Like |

paularo: It's tricky. Your WES report for study is a course by course evaluation, for immigration you'll need the ECA for IRCC. Medicals are valid for a year... Don't know if the same tests were carried out as needed for PR Police Report is valid for three months as stated, however i hear on here that it's valid for a year according to Canada Financial Statements, you might need to get a more recent one DOB Date of Birth? You want to change it? and Yes, IELTS will be written again, as the one you wrote must have been Academic instead of General needed for Immigration. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sorry to bother you guys but I’m curious. Has anyone ever had any issue with submitting a black and white scanned document instead of the colored scanned document. |

there’s a way IELTS always humbles people. I also wrote it 5 times before finally passing. Funny thing is, I’ve written TOEFL before in 2012, got a 99/120, wrote IELTS in 2014 and passed all bands with a round score of 8.5. Then it expired when I was ready. When I became ready to do this Canada waka, IELTS humbled me. When I got my result with 6.5 in Reading and 6.5 in writing. I chuckled and said it’s a lie. Me, do they know who I am? But yes, they know who I am. I am someone that needs to be humbled, even with my masters in engineering and several certifications. Apparently, most of us with technical background might not be descriptive enough as needed in writing. We seem to be too direct. When I eventually got my score, it was a LRSW: 9 9 8.5 7 The writing na still let my people go. Having spent more than 350k Anyway, we thank God for journey mercies. Congrats bro. Drahl: 15 Likes |

This is for the HR professionals in the house. Can someone please guide me on the pathway to obtaining a CHRP using a SHRM-SCP. I’m about to write the exam in Nigeria, so I would like to know if I’m doing the right thing or if there are other options. Thanks 1 Like 1 Share |

Thanks to everyone who responded the last time. 1. New issue, should I upload my employment letter from 4 years back or the work reference letter recently issued to me is sufficient for the employment records upload. 2. Educations upload: doesn’t state that I should upload WES or IELTS. Should I do that anyway here or there’s somewhere else specifically for that upload. |

Honestly, you might have to start reading from page 1. Believe me it’s interesting, just keep reading. But whatever you do, start with ECA then IELTS... don’t worry about work experience for now, by the time you’re done with ECA alone, your work experience would def be a year and above. When you’re done reading, you can come back and ask questions |
