Pof of funds summary

1- N3,000,000 in oceanic bank account @270(check xe.com for rates) = 12,000 CAD

2. Mutual funds in HSBC N1,000,000 @ 270 = 1000 CAD

Total funds= 13,000 CAD

thanks so much. I’m actually using one account and all the funds of 3.65m is in one account. I’ve printed the xe rate as at today that I printed my statement. Good? Or any other suggestions?

Please is there anyone that has used their salary account as POF account. Money has been transferred into it and will a statement of account and deed of gift will be used as documents shown. Obviously, there’s also payslip your show in the flow of salary.

I’m sticking to using one account at the moment because of the confusion with mutual funds and the likes.

Has anyone done this? I also think the less number of accounts, statement and reference letters I put forward will not confuse my assessor.

I got my PCC on Monday and it clearly states “Canada” on it. Now if the assessor isn’t dyslexic, he should be able to spot the different between Canada and China.

My advice: Do another PCC

enoeshett:

The thing is I had one PCC done in Nov 2018 for Chinese consulate. I'm pre-ITA expecting to have ITA by October 2019. Is it safe to say I could use my 2018 PCC again?

Guys... please can I still travel after I’ve submitted my application before PPR. I would like to go on a short holiday around an Ecowas country. Is this fine and would this affect me in anyway, as per misrepresentation.

I'm surprised your score is that low. Are you married or do not have any work experience?
RaptorTheNorth:
Good day family. I’m happy to be here. With immense help from this platform (by being a silent reader) I’ve been able to get a good IELTS score LRSW 9/9/8/7. I took the test with British Council, I opted for the computer delivered option for the IELTS as the results were available within 3 working days. I’m based in Accra. I also selected the computer delivered option because the Writing section had a word count :-) I’ve completed my WES evaluation in a little over a month. I evaluated only my MSc. My current CRS is 451 as I’m 34 years. I’m hoping there are others in my boat so we can encourage each other towards this journey. God be with us all.

Please how long did it take for your endorser to get the mail and how long did it take for them to post it to the UK address.
Bazbaby:

Well they accepted my gt card and this was around June 2019. I would also advise you to request for the completed certificate to be sent to a Uk address and ask the person to scan it to you since u only need d scanned copy. You save money on delivery costs to Nig.

I paid with a GT MasterCard

Silversurfer1:
For those who have gotten PCC for the UK, is it true you can't pay for it with a Nigerian debit/credit card? A lady on Twitter said she couldn't pay for hers and a representative of their organisation said due to Nigeria's notorious 419 issues, they don't accept payment from Nigerian cards.

LOL... Abeg wetin you come get?

I like to give very weird answers during mine. She once asked what type of fruits i like and why. I responded that i like watermelon cause it's an aphrodisiac. LOL

Tarrah:
Relax and talk like you're jisting with a friend. Please be spontaneous, use your imagination well and tell stories. It doesn't have to be a true life story, it can be fictional. For example, I was asked to talk about a result I didn't like, who I reported to and how I handled it.

I took my examiner on a journey of my preparation of an exam, how I didn't want to fail my father with a bad result, how I felt when I saw the result, the appropriate authorities I reported to on the unfairness of the report ,how it was resolved ,how I felt with the change and how I broke the news to my father. Prolong the discussion in part 2 especially, tell plenty stories and exhaust your vocabulary lol

But not necessarily the same in exam setting. I've experienced both IDP and BC's testing protocols and the latter was better. I wrote with IDP (on July 28, 2018 on the mainland) and I passed the first time, but that was the most stressful exam day I've had - the examiners acted like amateurs, thereby wasting our time and the headsets had a disturbing background noise which they proclaimed was "normal". That made the listening part harder than it should have been. Anyway, like I said, that was my experience. Others can share their experiences.

Also, EOR for BC is 15k while IDP is 46+. Make your choice.

I agree with this view. But to each his own. BC it is for me. I wrote with IDP and didn't enjoy the experience. We finished one of the tests at 5pm.

Homextras:

Hello House, many thanks for the advise. I found solution to my challenge. So i did a recomputing of my CRS score, and found out that my real age gave me my present crs score. It then occurred to me that while I was answering the questions that will validate my express entry profile, after receiving ITA, I made the mistake.
So I simply discovered that I can modify family information, and this was where I corrected the error in age. After doing that, my update form was now showing my real age, as previously entered while completing my express entry profile. So I didn't decline the ITA.

Thanks for the divergent advises. God bless and answer our heart desires.

Well done

Going all the way to IOM in Ikeja is a bit of a challenge. I stay in the Chevron axis of town and work in Ikoyi, so QLife is the best for me. I know people would read this and want to slap me, hehehe. I'll wait to see what they'd say tomorrow, if I can't wait, I move over to IOM then.

I live in Lekki Phase 2 and work close to Chevron. Guess what, I’m going to Ikeja to get it done.

Good morning Canadians living in Nigeria.
Has anyone been able to reach QLife over the holidays or booked an appointment recently? I want to know what dates they're giving currently.

Also, peradventure if anyone has a near date they're willing to give up for a family of 2, kindly mention me.
Thanks

Just gotten home to check for my ITA. I thank God Almighty.

I have received a response from IOM and i replied them earlier stating not applicable for UCI, but when i received it, i updated the mail and sent again, this time with the UCI.

I have opened my profiled since 2018, but it became ineligible after i tried to upgrade my work experience, some mistake i made. but i opened another one as early as January 2019 and then IELTS has been messing up. We thank God i got it last month and now I just got my ITA with 473.

Now is the time to start processing...
