We will announce soon. we just want our yam to be well done before we serve it.

bankyh1905:
This thread needs a shower of PPRs. It's either not many members have gotten theirs recently or they decided not to announce on the thread.

So i recently got PPR and I am trying to obtain as much as possible from this country but departure. I've been thinking, is the CIPM diploma of any relevance whatsoever in Canada (WES evaluated obviously).

I am a HR personnel with more than 4 years of experience but have both my degrees in Engineering. You know the story: life, lemons, lemonade.

Is CIPM relevant in Canada?

Thanks, I will consider sitting for the CHRP or CPHR exam when i land.

A14:

My sister has CIPM and she’s also into HR. Sadly, it was never of use to her. She’s gunning for CPHR tho.
But you never know it can come in handy for you.

Thanks a lot. Dem say person wey ask question no dey miss road. This platform has been very helpful in making me get PPR in 119 days, 3 days short of 4 months. I'm very grateful.

Congratulations grin

I remember when you joined and wouldn't stop asking questions. Great job. You earned it and also end up saving the fee you would have paid to a misinformed agent.

It's advised you have the POF and keep it till you get PPR.

Reason: Incase they request for ADR on your POF you can print the statement to show that the money was intact all through the application process.
odimbannamdi:

When exactly are we supposed to show POF? i thought it is until we get ITA?

Me and wifey are looking to begin the journey by January by writing IELTS General, but the entire POF never pure.

Hope it wont pose a problem?

This PPR hustle is by the grace of God. The patience is on a whole other level and many other things stay stagnant because of the wait.

Haven’t been on here for a bit, but I’m in about 5 WhatsApp and 2 Telegram groups and it feels good to see people shout PPR from time to time.

Right now, I’m sitting in my car waiting for my Mokalik to come totori my kickstarter as the thing is showing itself. Money to buy new car is stuck in POF, even if extra money Dey sef, na to Dey manage till God answers our Canadian prayer.

Many other things also on a lowkey. God will make it end in praise. Amen!!!

How many others are in my sort of situation?

Hay God.

1st. Congrats on your PPR and CoPR.

2nd. Abeg when i google myself, there's this side hustle i had but didn't go all the way on. But i have a youtube page and it shows the explainer video of the hustle. I did not even register the company or go all the way but my name comes up as the owner of the YoutTube page. Do i need to raise a webform and explain the purpose of an explainer video too?

hayoakins:
Jehova El-PR has done me well.

- Don’t try to outsmart the VOs.
I sincerely forgot to include my side hustle (Photography and Online Corporate wears Store) and my volunteering experience only to remember after two months. I did not dissociate or delete my Instagram pages, remove the volunteer services from my Linkedin profile. Instead I raised a Webform stating all my services and telling the agent/VO make dem no vex. Na oversight.

How do you know which is better when you wrote only once with only IDP.

Ask us that wrote 5 times and we would tell you which is better. What pass rate? Where did you see the statistic?

Adunni09:

I also used IDP (first attempt) and I aced it. I was advised to use IDP, I initially didn’t get my writing got 6.5 and I requested for a remark which came out positive. IDP is better imo because of the pass rate, also there was no problem with headset or anything of such, it’s just like practicing with IELTS online where you see the question and use headset to listen.

Then go for BC.

ladykilllar:

I would prefer a facilitator that makes use of a headset, i appreciate your response however.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by PLSHELEP: 12:36pm On Oct 28, 2019
I don't think they are more difficult, if you ask me I would say they are the same.

However, during the real test, you have people around you and could be easily distracted. There's also the complexity of whether you're listening from a speaker or headset.
ladykilllar:

Nice advice, but i want to confirm something please. Is it true that the listening practice tests on ieltsonline are somewhat tougher than the real test ( so as to prepare students). Because i used to score very high with Cambridge until i tried ieltsonline it took a while before getting a hang of it.

Quite interestingly, some Accra PPRs have been given this morning. Suffice it to say it was the pressure put on them by the tweets and signatures? We can't tell, but silence definitely wasn't the way to go.

Tina26:
the kind of Nigerians you should avoid abroad . She is in ottawa group illegally to observe . Yet sees the traction there. April aor are being released ( given pr). While accra no show. And she thinks its normal.

I cringed at your earlier response and I'm shocked @Bold.

Why not wait for plan B,C,D, Since you're so logical and don't think pressure is necessary, why would you pray?

I feel your earlier response was inconsiderate and unsympathetic towards other people's plight.

kiari:

Lol, I totally understand your frustration. But what were you expecting from IRCC to hand it over to you just like that? Everyone go dey alright Las Las...Just pray your pray and hope for the best

I found CBT to be better... Easier to change mistakes, good for people with poor hand-writings. very fast for people who work or spend time using computers. And there's word count for CBT.
Erigo23:

I did both and honestly I wasted money twice on CBT paper based was much better I wrote faster and better. CBT isn’t the best for writing section. My opinion.

Good evening guys...

Please can someone clarify this for me

I have gotten my husband’s PCC for UK. However he will be travelling there next month for just a week. Does this mean we have to do another PCC upon his return? Or it doesn’t matter since he isn’t staying up to 6 months...
even if he’s staying for another one year... that one PCC should suffice if you’ve submitted application already though
