The truth is the gospel of Christ my brother.
The truth is that you're a lonely, wretched sinner who deserves the wrath of God because of your sin about what you have thought, said and did because of the fall of our first parent Adam and this is why we need the gospel.

The gospel is good news when we understand that we do not and not in any means by ourselves earn our salvation; but God sent His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sin taking our place for our redemption, now the work of redemption and justification is complete, having been finished on the cross (John 19:30). Jesus is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 2:2). The gospel is the good news that we, who were once enemies of God because of our sins that was as scarlet, have been reconciled by the blood of Christ and adopted into the family of God (Romans 5:10; John 1:12). “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1). The gospel is the good news that “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).

And it is only when you acknowledge and turn from sins, call on Christ who died and was raised by God now sitting at His right side and apply it to your self that you have any hope of being saved.

The gospel is the truth.

God is sovereign over everything - including Heaven, Earth, Hell, Person, Place. Anyone who acknowledges this God, repents of sin and submits to His will is someone that is good and mind you that goodness is not inherently from the person, but that it is a gift given by God through His Spirit that sanctifies such person to be conform into the image of Christ.
