Duplexes are overrated....Nigerians think they can only show class and wealth by building Duplexes of which their bungalow cousins can be built with half the cost and double the aesthetics..... If you have 6.5m and you are looking towards building any structure, I suggest you look at bungalows and even 6.5m would not get you a 6bedroom bungalow. Check out the trend below so that you can have an idea about approximate cost of different building types . https://www.nairaland.com/2915461/3d-views-buildings-harneyproject-team |
Innoson is not a serious business man, he is either stingy to spend money on aggressive marketing or lacks the wisdom to do so... Innoson should have taken advantage of the rise in dollar by advertising is cars, he can even do a partnership with the banks for people to pay monthly....If I have some money I would rather buy Innoson than buy fairly used expensive cars from abroad but I don't know which brand Innoson sells and how much or even where to buy the cars. Don't blame anybody for lack of patronage, blame Innoson for his lackadaisical attitude towards marketing... |

ikemeneke:If you want accurate critism, include dimensions |
johnson232:This are cracks that occure in your concrete but are within reasonable limits and would not lead to collapse of your structure. |
PeoplesArmy:50ft x 100ft plot of land..... |
johnson232:The Head beam has three functions... 1. The Head beam serves has a support for the roof and distributes the load evenly across the external walls. 2. The Head beam serves has a rigid medium to tie the roof truss to the building 3. Due to the lack of quality control and the unpredictable quality of our Sandcrete blocks, The Head beam would give your structure a rigid frame and in combination with columms would reduce the possibility of serviceability cracks occurring in your building. |

First of all.... The ring lintel from a structural perspective helps to spread the load over a greater span of support(Sancrete block) in some situations were columns were not use and the blocks served has load bearing walls..... This also reduces the possibilities of cracks occurring near your windows and doors as a result of too much load ( lintel self weight) over a shorter span of support( Sancrete block) Secondly...If you decide to use columns in your bungalow and you also decide to use a ring lintel, It turns the structure into a form of a frame structure reducing the pressure on your walls and turns it into a from of partition wall rather than a load bearing wall thereby reducing the possibility of serviceability cracks on your structure. Thirdly..... It gives you the freedom of manuavability during renovation works at a later date during the service life of your structure. You can put Windows and doors with greater ease and confidence during renovation works with little effect on the overall structural integrity of the building. |
