searchng4love:Think about the orphaned children of soldiers, think about their wifes..think about their parents...Dont thsy deserve justice?.... You might not care about them, so lets come down to civilians. Think about the people who died every sunday from one chruch bomblast to another , think about the families that died in the nyanya motor pack bombing. While think about them, keep in mind tgat the funds to stop bokoharam from making us bleed and cry was with dasuki, and he was busy sharing it like a souless man. Its not only the rich politicians that deserv justice and equity... We the poor and suffering mases also deserv justice |
ancientbanana:Every state has a judiciary and an attorny general.... River state does not need the permission of the FG to arrest and prosecute amaechi for embezzlement. Woke can file a charge through the attorney general of river state for criminal procedding agaisnt amaechi. |
searchng4love:Soldiers died because of treason commited by Dasuki and you are hear calling his name? Soldiers who had families, soldiers who commited their life to protecting us all. May your souls of the dead soldiers continue to hunt you. Amen NB.. The terrorsit being detained in Gunatanamo bay are there because there is no legal way to prosecute their crimes and they shall remain there. Remember USA is the lighting touch for the rule of law in the world. If they can bend the rules to protect their citizens why should we obeyand allow wicked souls like dasuki roam free? |
Saudi Arabia is already making plans for the future when oil becomes obselete as the world moves onto renewable sustainable energy. In the neearest future when oil becomes useless, what would the Niger delta region fall back on? How would they cultivate their farmlands to feed themselves? How would they practice fishing?. It cost billions to finace the clean up of the land and water, who is going to finance it? Blowing up pipelines is a double edge sword that injures the Niger delta more than it does Nigeria because Nigeria would definitely diversify into other more sources of revenue , other more lucrative sources of revenue. Apple inc made more money last year than we made from oil, so you should look at the bigger picture. We down south feel the North is marginilizing us, wait till they become the main stay of the economy and then we would see real marginilization. |
EFCC requires a court order to freeze the account of any individual of which a judge must have signed on. From your statment about EFCC ethnic bias, we can conclude Dasuki is one of the long lost sons of the Igbo nation because he has been in detention since forever |
Empiree:Kindly read up the thrend, we have posted procedures for installation of the polysteren facial back up with pictures from the installation to the finished work.... Thanks |
An Engineer is a person who has a minimum of a BSC in any of the engineering fields. A certified enginner is an engineer recognised by COREN, he is certified to have the knowledge and releveant experience to carry out engineering works. Nigeria lacks the ability to regulate Engineering practice and building construction in Nigeria, that failure lead to the rise of every tom, dick and harry calling himself an Engineer. Thats what gave birth to people underestimating the importance of an Engineer in their building project. Most building plans are not properly done... Without the guidiance of an Engineer, you end up with a structure that would cost you millions to repair. Chieseling of concrete is covered by building codes to minimize its effect on the structural intergrity of your building, Witout an engineer who would be there to make sure the codes are being followed? |

Mariesio:Contact me via mail or whatsapp so we can discuss better |
5starmilitant:You seem to underestimate the powers of a State Government... Everystate has its own judiciary with an attorney General.. River state does not need EFCC to start criminal proceedings agaisnt amaechi for embezzelement |
Charging your battery a 100% before use for tge first time after purchase, is it a myth or is it real? |
prinsam30:We the citizens are the ones causing this nuisance, we sold our birth right they day we started collecting rice to elect senators, we sold our birth right the day we started voting based on ethnicity and religion... The laws written by our criminal senators do not favour the EFCC to do their jobs, the senators are now even bold enough to change the laws to satisfy themselvs EFCC lacks the man power or resorces to trial this criminals and the corrupt judiciary are agaisnt them |
darchiplanhomes:Nice 3 D bh darchiplanhomes and a very good design by them |
darchiplanhomes:Nice design sir, We love the concept and in due time the design would be a physical reality |
Horlawoomey:The mechanised compactor gives a compaction efficiency of 70-90% while the manual method gives an efficeincy of 50-60%... To cater for the discrepscies in compaction and the unavailibality of hardcore, we have introduced a reinfrocement mat made up of Y8 spaced at 300mm c/c in both directions... This would increase the DPC ressitance to settlement. |
We have dug the trench for the staircase starter bar, soon we would place the starter bars for the staircase after blinding of 50mm while the capenter is busy placing the formwork the the dpc with a brace of 3f center to center ... Abdulwastecx will update you all with pictures |
While Abdulwastecx updates you all with pictures from the actual construction of the fence, i would continue with the costing CEMENT FOR MOTAR JOINT Like i earlier explained, We have perpend and bed for placement of motar and a MOTAR is a mixture of cement and Sand in a specified ratio... For the project and for most project, we use 1:6.... PRACTICAL ESTIMATION From Practical Experince and from result obtained from a research i did on the number of blocks that can be laid with one bag... I came up with values of 40,45,50,55 and chose an average of 48 number of 9 inches blocks from one bag of cement and 60 number of 6inchs blocks from one bag of cement From our already estimated number of blocks of 2673 Number of bags required = 2673/48 = 56 bags of cement MATHEMATICAL ESTIMATION I discovered alot of varaibles with the motar joint like thickness of the motar joint which varies due to the skill of the mason laying the block and the plumness of the bed on which the block is laid. The type of sancrete blocks also affects the quantity of cement used -I would use an average thickness of 1/2inches( 12.5) for the motar joint -9inch block dimension of 450mm x 225mm -Mix ratio of 1:6 -One block would have a motar bed below and a motar bed above for the next block, making 2 bed for estimation -One block would have two perpend by the two sides for motar, making 2 perpend for estimation - For the purpose of this estimation i have ignored the holow nature of the block, I would put it into consideration later VOLUME Of CEMET REQUIRED Obtaining the quantity of cement required to lay one 9inch block Lets first obtain the area of the motar bed and perpend Length of bed L 1 = 0. 45 + 0.0125+ 0.0125 = 0.475m Length of perpend L 2 = 0.225m Area of the two motar beds = (0.475x 0.0125) + (0.475 x0.0125) = 1.1875 x 10-2m2 Area of two motar perpends= (0.225 x0.0125) x 2 = 5. 625 x 10 -3 m2 Total area = 0.0175 m2 Since the block has a width of 0.225 Volume of Motar required =0.225 x 0.0178 = 3.94 x 10-3 m3 Increase by 25% for wastage Total Volume of Motar = 1.25 x 3.94 x 10-3 = 4.92 x 10-3 m3 Using a mix ratio of 1:6 Volume of cement = 4.92 x 10 -3/7 = 7. 03 x 10-4 m3 Using Density = mass/volume Mass = density x volume, density of cement =1506kg/m3 Mass of cement required to lay one 9inch block = 7.03 x 10-4 x 1506 = 1.05kg Since we have obtained 1.05kg of cement would lay a single block, Total mass of cement for the whole project =1.05x 2673 =2806.65kg 1 bag of cement is 50kg Number of bags required = 2806.5/50 = 56 bags We can now obtain how blocks would one bag lay from this Number of blocks to be laid from one bag of cement = total number of blocks/ total number of bags = 2673/56 = 47.7 blocks |
CEMENT FOR MOTAR JOINT To estimate this, you need to understand the blocks.... We commonly have 6inch and 9inch blocks, hollow and solid.. For placement of motar, we describe the parts of the block where the motar is to be placed as (PERPEND AND BED) Perpend... The Vertical side of the motar between two blocks Bed... The horizontal side of a block for placemenr of motar MOTAR This is a mixture of fine aggregrate and cement in a specific ratio, The ratio specified for block work is 1 (cement) :6 (fine aggregrate) The motar is to be 20mm thick on both the perpend and the bed of the block

9inch sancrete blocks sells between 110-130naira 6inch sancrete blocks sells between 90-110naira |
Miscellaneous:Like Abdulwastecx explain, they represent bar marks but to elaborate further... During the design of reinfroced concrete, The result are provision of reinforcements of different diameters.. The we proceed to the detailing which involves the drawing of the reinforcement, they are drawn to show how they would be placed in the the concrete(before casting) by the builder..... During the process we discover several reinfrocements with thesame diameter and the same length... So to make it easier, we give bars with the same length and diameter a mark (01,02,03,04) which we denote as bar mark The bar mark makes placing of the reinfrocement easier and reduces wastages... It also makes it possible to cut all your bars in the workshop into different length depending on the bar mark and bring it to site for just placing.... |
Miscellaneous:Let me start from the first principle Concrete is weak in tension but very stong in comprehension, concrete comprensional strength is 10times its tension strength... Due to this weakness in tension, We have to introduce Reinfrocements in the form of steel to make it Reinforced Concrete Steel is good in both comprension and tension but we use it to assist the concrete in its tensional deficiency We have two common types of Reinfocement -Mild Steel with a tensional strength of 250N/mm2 -High yield with a tensional strength of 460N/mm2 We denote Mild steel as R bar while High yield as Y bar, This steel are produced in different diameters ranging from 4 , 8,10,12,16,25,32 mm but you can custom order by contacting the steel company to produce a specific diameter of bar for you... The different diameters is based on your Reinforced concerete design, what ever diameter required to carry the estimated load is what you would provide for.. Therefore, High yield bar of 8mm is denoted as Y8 while mild steel of 8mm diameter is denoted as R8 |
obynocute:Thank you sir, i am on whatsapp |
obynocute:Mathematically, if i am to increase the value of Y by 25% of its own value First i would find 25% of Y =( 25/100) x Y = 0.25Y Now i would add this value (0.25Y) to the original value of Y to obtain its increase of 25% = 0.25Y + Y = (0.25+1)Y = 1.25Y Let 0.25 = X, representing any percetage increase you want, it can 10%,20%, 100% Let Y represent the variable you intend to increase. |
BRACE ESTIMATION We have 29number of bracs We have agreed to use 2 number of 9inch block has brace, placed perpendicularly to the block wall.... We have 11 coarse of block Each course would has 2 blocks for brace number of blocks for one brace = 2 x 11 =22 blocks Total number of blocks required for 29 brace = =29 x 22 = 638 Blocks Total number of Blocks required for the fence = number of blocks for blockwall +number of blocks for brace = 2035+ 638 = 2673 NOTE: Motar joint was not included in my estimation of height because eavh motor joint is 10mm which would be infinitesimal when compared to the whole We would require 2673 blocks to fence the site based on the already stated parameters |
SANCRETE BLOCK ESTIMATION FENCE WALL IN TO IN Length of brace = width of 2 number of 9inch block = 450mm Number of brace = 87( perimeter of fence) / 3(lenght of wall in to in of brace) = 87/3 = 29 number of brace From practical experince 10 number of 9inch(225mm) or 6 inch(150mm) sancerete blocks would make up 1m2 of blockwall ( 9inch and 6inch blocks both have the same height (225mm)and length (450mm) , the difference is in the width. Mathematically, Area of one block = 0.225 x 0.45 =0.1m2 Number of blocks in 1m2 = 1/0.1 = 10 number of blocks Now, we would obtain the area of the fence using its height and its length ( perimeter - legnth of brace ) Height = 11coarse ( 11 x 0.225) = 2.5m Length = 87 - ( 29 x 0.45) = 74m Area of fence = 74 x 2.5 = 185m2 We have already established 10 blocks in 1m2 of wall Therefore Number of blocks = 185 x 10 = 1850 10% increase for wastage and cutting ( Masons cut some blocks to achieve the desired bond, The most common bond is Stretcher bond and thats the bond to be used for this project) Total number of blocks = 1850 x 1.1 = 2035 number of blocks |
Lets put it around 15-20million naira but the estimate is subjected to a comprehensive bill of quantity.... If you have your architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings with a fee harneyprojects can prepare a comprehensive bill of quantity for you With an accuracy of +/-100,000naira |
I swear.... EFCC is doing pressup and bad enough for saraki himself, his wife, his wifes lawyer, panama leaks, kwara state govement are busy laying land mines for him |
I broke the discussion into three, design, costing and construction........We are still at the costing stage... Once we get to constructio you would see enough pictures I am presently in a remote village in Enugu, i have to climb ontop of the fence sometimes to get good network.... One step at a time.... |
If you advice some clients to do a Geothecnic test on his property, they might ignore the advice...If he proceds to doing the test, to acquire the services of a competent Geothecnic company is difficult..... There are many chalenges in Nigeria preventing the middle and lower class from constructing the perfect structure |
Sorry for that, i am trying to explain it in a way you can relate with the masons and laboures on site..... Like for example you can go and tell you local supplier that you need a 225mm (9inch) sancrete block, many would not understand what you are saying. Most of our labourers can only understand digging in ft explaining it in meters would only lead to confussion and errors .... But i would from now ensforth put the equivalent metric beside its imperial cousin |
Mayor78:Thank you |
