sammu: the patch option is available on softwares from wizkid and crosat. After successful upgrade, do factory reset again on ur box to initialize the new software. Then press 6969 twice. Hope this helpsthanks sammu, i did just as you adviced, but no show. the version i have is 4661_4664 189 and 151 and still no patch option. thanks all thesame. |

morning house, my cousin factory reset my 4663x while i was away yesterday and when i tried downloaded softwares from wizkids and crosat , the patch options were not available on it, i downloaded from strong technologies still no patch options. can someone please direct me to where i can get d software for 4663x with patch option, or if you have, please kindly drop me one @ deleyekhadaf@yahoo.com thanks one love |

fomat11: The only AMOS i have on my decoder is 4.0W AMOS 2,3 how do i get AMOS 5 AND 17Do not panic bro, just go to any blank satelite, add your tp and there after rename it to amos 5 after you hit green on any of these tp's 11801V27500,12216V27500,12335V27500,11091V30000,11156V45000,11007V30000. best of luck. |

@ gbozi, your home theater have auto select on system, while your dstv dsd is pal alone. your tv might be secam, mesecam, or ntsc, hence, it will only show black n white when connect to dstv dsd. try change the tv system to pal, if pal isnt available, sorry theres nothing you can do except you do some other ojoro like pic board change, system down load from manufacturer site for africa. hope this helps. |

I watch as the season draw near and my greatest fear are the repeated retorical questions that will befall this thread. This thread is strictly fta live football. So if anyone post an update and you are not clear, PLEASE make use of the search engine on the top corner. PRESS menu, and then ok check your signal strength and quality, both must be greater than 54%, THEN press menu, advance option, installation, check if the antenna is on,then reset............... best of luck bro. |

After a very long time,I took time out to do some cable changing twickling and adjustments And then blindscanning w4 I noticed some stations on 12272 h 11199 with channels like dubai spoort,nat geo wild , spacetoon etc with no audio/video but full signal of over 70% on 90cm dish... Please house, is there something I'm missing on my 4669x... |

Hello house, morning all, i blind scanned my w4, and setanta,cnn and even silverbird didnt pop up. Even 11940h27500 brought only 6 other channels. Am i not getting something right, or is it because im using 4669x. |

Everfrank: Tv 2 of my dual view decoder won't display channel line up anymore. Called dstv twice but their directve to rescan the decoder didn't solve the problem. Tv 1 is ok but tv 2 only displays some obscure channels denoted by letters and numbers that don't show anyway.Pls help.FRANK, guess there is a new frequency in town distorting your tv2 ( hope you are not in ibadan or area close to it). if after all my ogas have advise above, and still no change. go to menu, tv installation, and tv2 uhf tuning. make sure the uhf tuning is not anywhere close to any tv frequency you have in your area. that problem is so so common in ibadan now because of 2 additional stations within a month, galaxy, mitv ibadan and so many dtd signal jams. so once you change the tv uhf frequency, re scan your tv.......hope it helps. |

AFTERNOON all, after the 2-dual lnb was brought to my attention earlier, i had to go dig deep about it. in ibadan here, we have the stargold and discovery and they both goes for #1800 in ogunpa and oke-padre. it has a space adjustment of 37mm apart. on installation, once you hit green on the pry satelite, all you have to do next is input the next tp parameters and then try adjusting the space adjustment and proper skewing... i have seen 36east ( w4 ) and multi tv ( 28east) combination. lets try out the dreaded w3a 7east and ses5 sirius-4.8east, this might actually be the breakthrough we seek for the difficulty of trade-off on a single lnb. trying out multi tv + amos5\w3a could be possible and all posible satelites within 37mm apart. lets gets working and please give feed backs there after for discoveries. one love.

A 2sat lnb on a single dish ( 60, 90 n 1m ), for w4 and multi tv no need for tapes, wires and less stress. just track one of w4 or joytv and the other pops up automatically once connected to a diseqc ...... innovation i say
