Politics / My Fellow Igbos... by PointB: 9:46pm On Mar 19, 2023
I am not writing long speech here, and there is no need to state the obvious. I will simply go straight to the point.

This is directed at Igbos outside Igboland.

Step 1
1. If you are not in your village\town union group/meeting, please join. If you don't have one organise yourselves and start.
2. Find out if you have state union, and join
3. Table and agree with your kinsmen pertinent issues

Step 2

1. Trade in the market as they say, but think home.
2. Do not give in to fear, think countermeasures.
3. Think countermeasures.

Stand proud my brothers.

Igbos has been suffering before so no be today.

I don't understand the post myself. Despite all the rigging Obi won in 11 states and FCT, yet the guy is blabbing and blaming Obi, instead of pushing for the strengthening of the institutions.

And Nigeria is ending today or what? So because Tinubu rigged himself in, we should kill Obi? Abeg stop that nonsense biko. You're being emotional. Go and take cold beer and sleep it off.

Peter Obi has single handedly pulled the Igbo nation decades back.

His singular irrational ambition has enthroned APC for at least the next 8 years if not 16. It has enthroned Muslim domination. Igbos have lost our at the center with no clear path of finding our way back.

Obi is the biggest loser in this election. Alex Otti in Abia state would have won even if he contested under Sowore's party. LP will only take Anambra state backwards. Soludo would be fighting more to stay then concentrate on working for the people. Obi is a dangerously ambitious he goat. There's greater polarization between Igbos and Yorubas. The worst since 1967.

It pains me because I'm igbo. No strong Igbo alliance in APC, PDP. The SS are taking our rightful position. The elections are over. We would go back to screaming marginalisation and Biafra while others reap from Nigeria.

Obi should never have happened and he should be taken down. His continued ambition is doing nothing but harm to the average igboman.

So because of Muslim, we should allow Fulani continue ruling, right? Guy abeg park yourself somewhere biko. Peter Obi did his best, and he's still in court. You're crying too soon, perhaps louder than the bereaved.

No go dey buy multimillion landed properties for market. Do your business and take the money home.

You cannot be investing multimillions in an hostile environment. Invest only in what you can sell off fast and go home

What if it that's the ware you're selling? Or is it no longer buy, hold, sell?

Stop Investing massivey in Lagos. You can see why from today's elections.

Take your investments home, people will always come there to patronize you.

Lagos is now hostile to you guys, the evidence is bold and glaring for everyone to see. The earlier you start thinking home, the better.

Your investment will always be save at home. Stop buying multimillion naira properties in Lagos. Make your money there, rent apartment or build something small, then move them to the east in droves. Don't be stupid, be wise.

Cheers guys

You want to ask someone to stop going to market? Or you don't see that that Lagos is just a market. And all the people you see making noise today are agberos. A man cannot leave market because touts. Touts are part of every market, no matter the size.

Preservation of our prosperous Lagos is more important to us than the election or constitution of Nigeria. It bothers on who we are as a people of one father- Oduduwa, long before we were almagamated with strangers in 1914, long before the independence of the almagamated entity in 1960 and long before 1999 dubious constitution authored by FRA Williams in the names of 250 tribes that make up Nigeria.

I advise you not to lose your roots because when it's all said and done, your lot in this desirable but not compulsory Nigeria is the eroded red soil portion burning under IPOB supervised destruction. You should worry more about it and participate more in their elections.

Try and make sense, cos there is hardly any sense in this convoluted post. You just jumbled things together trying to sound intelligent. Try simplicity in communication. It helps.

The guy in question is a Yoruba man. How is what he wrote Igbo's problem? Are there no Igbo who support for Sanwo Olu and other governors before him? Why should GRV be different because he wrote something? What about those who are actually 'doing' something bad?

A typical Igbo man believes they are the only one who thinks.
Civilization you all cannot go to Mbaise, Mbano, Ohaji Egbema, Isiala Ngwa, Ihiala, Amachala to effect.
It is only in Lagos you must effect it.

This demonic spirit of always asking for the seat of whoever helps you (In offices, Markets, Politics and everywhere) is irritating.
We didn't do anything bad hosting the Hausas, Kanuris, Igalas and so on. But those with the spirit of repaying those who gave them a space with sending them away from their home are the reason why people regret doing good sometimes.

Now, I am more apprehensive of the Igbo race than ever before.
We are now ready to make curtailing them a project.

The die is now cast.

You my friend are not hosting me. I'm living in Lagos courtesy of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Not because of your generosity. You don't provide me with free accommodation, transportation, electricity or water. So what entirely are you laying claim to as host to demand I kowtow to you? We are compatriots in Nigeria, comrades if we have to battle against foreigners. So perish that haughty feeling of host vs visitors. Igbos are no visitors in Lagos. We are stakeholders in the development of the commercial capital of Nigeria. No one person can lay claim to a market.

Now if you're apprehensive of Igbo as an ethnic group, I really can't help that. It only mean you will do things to act out your apprehension and will never be able to leave freely. Whatever you do though will have little to no effect on the Igbos. For example, look at how you are disgracing yourselves up and down snatching ballots boxes and getting shot by security men due to an election. How is this affecting the Igbo man? Let alone solely affecting the Igboman? You will shoot yourself in the foot trying to stop an immoveable force of nature. You will do it every four years?

Despite their acclaimed most educated region, they still have high level of uneducated touts who do not believe in themselves nor see themselves as the future of tomorrow.

They allow one man to determine how far they all can go in life. As they are snatching ballot boxes in Lagos,so they are doing in Ogun states and Osun states respectively.

This is surprising that,at this time and age, these people can't allow people to freely vote whom they trust, yet we practice democracy.

It's what they term sophistcation. Ballot snatching. A 19th century phenomenon is what they are practicing in 21st century. I'm ashamed for my yoruba friends.

Let it happen first then we will know if it an issue or not

It could as soon as you have the number. For now, you don't have the number in Anambra compared to the demography in Lagos. So Lagos is likely to happen sooner than later.

What you see APC thugs doing today is the last kick of a dying horse. It's not sustainable. You can't mobilize against a political party with thugs every election. Sooner or later, the security services will be deployed to stop the thugs. When that happens, even the you will not be able to vote, only those you're trying to stop will have a field day.

But folks like you are not wise. You keep fighting against civilization.

They are grasping at straws trying to stop Igboman instead of helping their fellow citizens irrespective of ethnic group. Misplaced priority.

Peter Obi and the LP are very sectional and bigoted. He came to Lagos to campaign for GRV but went straight to an Igbo populated market Lapido to campaign for a suppose Yoruba govermorship candidate.

The Peter Obi movement is a Biafra movement... it has too much Igbo coloration and Peter Obi os not even hiding it.

He believes that the Igbo population in Lagos can make GRV a governor. GRV is an Igbo project to capture Lagos State.

Btw: I am from Delta State not Yoruba.
