Racoon: Meaning there can never be a forfeiture until there is a crime or criminal intent. Tinubu is in a big shit. The biggest lie and insult to the sensibility of Nigerians is the senseless attempt by Festus Keyamo and Femi Fani-Kayode to call the $460,000 Heroin-drug forfeiture as tax payment. You can defend anything APC without sounding foolish, stupid, or senseless. The document clearly called him a Defendant? What could he be defending? Or was he a member of Super Eagle team? The criminal was a defendant in a criminal case - no more no less. And he was found cupable of crime. Keyamo and co are either plain ignorant, or just 'doing their job.' The only way out is if the court choose not to admit the evidence. If the court admits the evidence, they are toast. If the court choose not to admit the evidence, then they should release all prisoners in Nigeria, and overlook all other crimes. We have no need for law, lawyers, and judges. No need for Police and NDLEA. And no need to scan people for drugs at the airports. |

Op,
Leave them let them continue playing with words as if they cannot read.
The attached is from the case file.
You can see clearly in paragraph two when the document stated that 'criminal activity' was the cause of the forfeiture.
Let them keep fooling themselves.
Maybe they are reading criminal activity as criminal inactivity. I just don't understand.

If a recount was ordered won't Obi's fraud be exposed in South East
Can Obi get 2.9 million votes of APC cancelled without INEC cancelling his SouthEast and Lagos votes...
Do you think INEC that deliberately not use IREV and cleared the database for Guber polls don't know what they are doing

sukkot: The fact that a peter obi is being entertained in Nigeria points to the Unseriousness and low IQ levels the country has fallen into. This is an unserious country. In china peter obi would have been picked up and either locked up in a prison cell somewhere or committed to a mental institution. Why is he being entertained in this country by all the arms of government ? Is it the new woke culture has swept into government too ? Alright let's examine the stupidity of the whole thing. The whole thing is like a comedy clown show that would have been nipped in the bud in a serious country . This clown show could lead to an insurrection and rebellion but these woke government is not treating it with the seriousness it requires. Let's examine the unserious nature of this clown show, a man loses an election woefully and comes third and did not make the required spread of 25 percent, yet declares that his mandate is stolen. He states that the election is rigged and this is the premise of his dissatisfaction. Eventually they grant him full access to the whole electoral process and collations and he and his team of experts pour through the whole thing meticulously and discover no rig actually happened and then he changed his accusations from RIGGING to tinubu did not get 25 percent in the FCT and he is not qualified to contest and therefore should be banned and you should do a fresh election between me and the guy who came second. Now it is at this point that a serious country like china would declare this man as mentally inept and would arrest him for time wasting and making a joke and jest of serious government procedures. He would be committed to a mental institution or locked in prison for trivialising the government. But what does WOKE UNSERIOUS Nigeria do ? They still go on to entertain this clown show. The man is trivialising the whole country and making it look like a show of clowns. I mean are there no serious people in government who can pull him aside and tell him that the FCT is counted as a 37th state and it's not a legal requirement to get 25 percent in it, we just count it as part of the 37 entities that you need to get the 25 percent spread in but that particular FCT is not a must, just make sure you get the 25 percent in 24 out of the 37 entities presented. Are there no serious people who can explain this to this man so he can stop wasting everybody's time and trivialising our country into some clown show ? What's going on here ? Is the zoo being controlled by unserious low IQ humans ? It's times like this I wish serious men like tunde idiagbon still existed. Do you think you can run this clown show with a tunde idiAgbon in government ? You would be arrested immediately and confined to a mental institution. And finally you know what takes the cake with this clown show ? They say name the states where you think you were cheAted, this man didn't mention a single eastern state where he was getting 95 percent of the votes but mentioned Lagos state where he won. Basically this clown believes he was cheated in any state where he didn't get over 90 percent of the votes. What a clown show. Do we have any serious people in the government to nip this clown show in the bud and confine this man who is trivialising our democracy into some mental institution ? The man is clearly sick and we are dancing to the tunes of a mad man. And he is turning the country into an insane asylum. Coincidentally he said he gets his advice from a mad man when he was anambra governor. This is what we are entertaining ? They didn't teach you paragraphing in your 'high IQ' school? Why? |

KanwuliaExtra: Did his children feel shame? Maybe. . . it is reported one daughter is in an 'insane' assylum in the abroad. If he does not have shame, don't expect shame to be in his family lineage. This is very genetic! I don't really think those ones are the problem. I think it's people around him, and some people who have no love for Nigeria, who time and time again have been known to support the worst people to rule Nigeria. Some of these people do it to spite an ethnic group, even at the expense of Nigeria. Otherwise, I see no reason why people will purposely support an drug baron to rule over 200 million people. Thank goodness other groups are waking up to the reality of bad government, and relieving the burden from those of us who have been screaming our voice hoarse against those promoting poor leaders. Bad leaders affect everyone, not just PointB or his Igbo ethnic group, that some people want to suffer 200 million people just to frustrate them from government. |

The same Igbos who vowed to continue voting for the North if any Yoruba emerges from the APC primaries.

The same Igbos who said Tinubu is claiming he made Buhari President, so he should go ahead and make himself President. Which Tinubu has done.

seunmsg: They are now begging Tinubu to handover to Peter Obi. This handover you’re talking about, is according to which law?
There is absolutely no storm that you guys can bring that we won’t match you. We’ve won this already. Bola Tinubu will be president of Nigeria from 2023 to 2027 and Peter Obi will never become the president of Nigeria. This is a promise we are going to keep.
And please, don’t ever talk about a southern interest again, it doesn’t exist. We only care about Nigeria’s interest and nothing else. Btw, northerners are our brothers. They are trustworthy, honorable and reliable. We will ensure power goes back to the north after Bola Tinubu’s presidency. I understand where you're coming from. Without gainsaying, you're one of those hangers-on, leeching off the the man, Tinubu. Your livelihood depends on his presidency, To that extent, you do not care howsoever he arrives the final bus-stop, even is he gets there a tenth of the man he was, provided you bread is buttered. This is the crux of the problem, people like you who sees every genuine advice to him as an 'US vs Them' thing. At tactics you're using to drive the sickly old man, and his innocent family to their doom. If Tinubu were to be your father, not your ATM, would you continue to push him towards, infamy, destruction, and damnation, in the name of 'emilokan'? You say you care about Nigerians, so why are Nigerians not celebrating his electoral victory? Even Yoruba are not cheering him. just some bunch of paid urchins, responding to puppeteers, such as you. Well, like I said, I wish Tinubu good fortunes in the battle ahead, but more than that, I hope he retreats into the comfort of his home, warm embrace of his wife, and smile of his good son. A warrior does not fight every battle; discretion has always been a better part of valour. Peter Obi is coming; Nigerians want justice! |

I asked my AI friend to chip in some words for you, Tinubu. This is what it said: My dear friend,
I come to you with a heavy heart, for I fear that the path you are currently on may lead to unintended consequences. Though your intentions may be pure and well-meaning, the road you are travelling down is fraught with peril, and may bring about outcomes that are less than desirable.
I implore you to take a moment to reflect on your choices and consider the potential consequences that may arise. It is not too late to change course and choose a different path, one that is safe and sound, and that will lead to a brighter future for all involved.
I understand that it may be difficult to let go of the current path, and that pride and ego may be at play, but please know that it takes great strength and courage to admit when a course of action is not working out as planned. By being willing to change course, you are showing true wisdom and maturity.
So I urge you to give up the current path and choose a new one, for the sake of peace and harmony, and for the benefit of all involved. Let us work together to create a future that is bright and full of beauty.

Dear Tinubu,
A storm is coming; a big storm. Bigger than what many of your advisers and hangers-on care to let you in on. This court case portend a clear and present danger to you. It threatens to expose all that you have 'worked' tirelessly over the years to bury. Dead bodies of yester years, injuries that've healed, and scars that have been covered. These are all game in the storm to come.
Is it worth it that in your old age, you want to drag yourselves through this storm, this mud, and be remembered for things that are less than stellar? Is it worth it for your wife (cos her name was conspicuously mentioned in the drugs case). Let's say both of you are hardened and would not care for anything beyond your 'emilokan' ambition, what about poor Seyi? He seems a likeable kid, full of passion and energy, one for the future. Would you like to damage him too, in this brickbat of litigation that is coming.
Even before the first word of this case is uttered in the formal court, the court of public opinion (read public opprobrium) will first scrutinize every letter of the drug crime judgement and vent their frustration and anger on you, and eventually your family. Is it worth it? For you, for Remi, for Seyi? They call you strategist, think! Cos this tactical manoeuvre, will come with strategic blunder. You still have your Lagos, for now!
Let's assume, you don't care about how this impact you and your family. What about your ethnic group? Your countrymen, your nation? How will these rub off on them? And then, there is a small matter of the international community. How would they perceive you, win or lose? How will they see the country Nigeria? What message are we passing to them about ourselves as a people, after the potentially damaging court case? They are already brandishing Visa bans left and right. What next after the court cases?
Sun Tzu said, the best war is the one that was never fought. An anonymous philosopher once said, "No matter how far you have walked on the wrong road, turn back!" Let me advise you in your Yoruba proverb -"IGI GOGORO MA GUN MI LOJU, OKEERE LA TI N WO" (Literal Translation: For a sharp twig not to pluck out your eyes, you must yell out from a far distance. You have to be proactive to avoid errors /disasters /tragedy. )
Once you enter the ring with Peter Obi, in the name of election tribunal, win or lose, YOU lose! Remi loses, Seyi loses. Save them by saving yourself. Do not besiege a walled city - Sun Tzu.
Give it up, all of it, for Peter Obi, for the South. Win, by losing!
Sincerely,
Indefatigable
