PoliticsRe: Lagos: Way Forward by PointB: 12:17am On Mar 01, 2023
ycat:
I was commenting this on a topic but, the thread has disappeared, so i decided to post here.

This can be changed in one day by an exexutive order and when it's taken to court, you ignore the court ruling if after claiming Yoruba are endangered, you are ruled against. By getting our media involved along with the streets in the talking points of "we will do anything ro save our land unto death." Any judge hearing that knows that he has a fight in his hand. What we need is a fighter, who will uphold the original constitution Yoruba consented to concerning our land.

All we need are people who have brains, know what they are doing and can fight.

Every problem has a solution, people are just too lazy to take them up.

1. No more renting houses or selling land to igbos.
2. Don't buy anything from igbos.
3. Adopt the Philippines Barangay system where every local govt has a registration system and know everyone living there. If 10 igbos show up, you register 1, if the other other 9 are in trouble for anthing and caught anywhere, they don't live in Lagos and won't be able to get any papers from the local govt or Lagos ID which will have O beside the one given to igbo and Yoruba's own will have green check marks. When media asks you deny it, you can deny if for 3 years until it's full fledge and when asked by the media again, you will let the secret dept where I would love to help handle the response that they won't be able to pin down. With this only those registered will be able to vote or do certain things. More on this later.
4. Then every igbo house must pay property tax, won't even know they are being singled out, you will have to really be on it. You will see how many igbos will find Yorubaland not worth living in at this time. Between fighting the tax office and having to deal with all kind of issues like local licenses to open a business with all the stumbling blocks in their ways of getting things done, all they wiill be telling their people in igboland is "ragos no easy o." More on this later.
5. We will introduce different licenses that only igbos will be paying for. When they protest, you ignore them.
6. I said it long time ago that highrise apartment should be built in where igbos are many and fill it all with Yoruba and when anyone says why only Yoruba are in there, you say it's still a test of what can be and everybody will be part of it as time goes on and then ignore them or feign surprise and threaten to find out why that is, then yinmu as you turn around. The plan is to wear them out and ignore them mostly. More on this later.
And many more . Assemble all the Omoluabi lawyers that will be in court every day.

We can start changing Lagos within a few months, between their jobs and requirements to live in Yorubaland, they won't even have time to drag anything with Yoruba. They are just too comfortable right now.
Why do you have to stress yourself like this instead of asking for your own country? Imagine this nonsense the clown is putting up? Do you think the seller/renter is not making a living by doing business with Igbos? So you want them to operate at a loss by not trading with a major customer?

Are you an urchin?

PDP would win. But LP will retrieve their mandate from PDP using the courts.

Section 299 of the constitution says: “The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation.”
If the FCT was to be treated as one the states, what then is the point of the constitution specifically mentioning it in the provision? Secondly, why is gubernatorial election not conducted to elect a Governor for FCT, as it is done for the states?
PoliticsRe: FCT: A Run Off Is Likely by PointB: 11:22pm On Feb 28, 2023
QUESTION What if a candidate wins the majority votes, and 25% in 36 states, but fails to win 25% in the FCT. What happen, according to the constitution?

If a presidential or gubernatorial candidate wins the majority of votes and also secures at least 25% of the votes cast in each of at least two-thirds of Nigeria's 36 states, but fails to secure 25% of the votes cast in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, according to the Nigerian Constitution, such a candidate cannot be declared the winner of the election.

In this scenario, the election would be declared inconclusive, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would have to organize a supplementary election in the FCT to determine the winner.

It is important to note that the provision of securing at least 25% of the votes cast in each of at least two-thirds of Nigeria's 36 states and the FCT is a constitutional requirement that must be met for a presidential or gubernatorial candidate to be declared the winner of an election in Nigeria.

Short answer is NO.

Long answer:

Let me go and ask same questions and verify...

From previous questions

...The candidate must receive the highest number of votes in the election.

It is important to note that there are also other provisions in the Nigerian Constitution that govern elections, including provisions on the conduct of elections, electoral boundaries, and the powers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in organizing and conducting elections.

QUESTION Tell me about the provision concerning majority votes and 25% vote cast

In Nigeria, the Constitution provides that for a candidate to be elected as President or Governor, the candidate must not only receive the highest number of votes in the election but must also secure at least 25% of the votes cast in each of at least two-thirds of Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

This provision is intended to ensure that the President or Governor has a broad-based support and is not elected by a narrow regional or sectional interest. Essentially, it means that a candidate who wins the election but fails to meet the 25% threshold in at least two-thirds of the states and the FCT cannot be declared the winner.

For example, if there are 36 states and the FCT, a candidate must secure at least 25% of the votes cast in at least 24 states and the FCT to be declared the winner of the election, even if they win the highest number of votes overall.

It is important to note that this provision only applies to presidential and gubernatorial elections and not to other elections such as elections for the National Assembly, state Houses of Assembly, and Local Government Councils.

What if a candidate wins the majority votes, and 25% in 36 states, but fails to win 25% in the FCT.

3. Tinubu isn't winning Kano

Can you tell us more about the way he knows?

As a Governor, he was part of the least performing governor, and here you are today, marketing a failure!

Tinubu is not a saint, but of my records and leadership skill, he is the best
When I was younger, there are so many things I could do. As time pass, I realize that even though I was very good at those things, I can no longer do them. A vintage Tinubu, even with all these baggage would have been an okay leader, but there is no way the Tinubu I see now, will do better than this vintage Peter Obi.

Tinubu can be compared to the Roman Empire, Peter Obi is like the United State. The former is old and pass buy date, the latter is Young and Vibrant! We move forward to the future, not back to the past.
PoliticsPeter Gregory Obi Knows The Right Way! by PointB(op): 10:11pm On Feb 17, 2023
Peter Obi is a Nigerian businessman and politician who was the Governor of Anambra State in Nigeria from 2006 to 2014. He was born on July 19, 1961, in Onitsha, Anambra State.

Before he became a politician, Obi was a successful businessman, and he was the chairman of Next International Nigeria Ltd, a conglomerate involved in various sectors of the Nigerian economy, including hospitality, real estate, and agriculture.

As the Governor of Anambra State, Obi was known for his focus on education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. He also implemented various policies aimed at improving the state's economy, such as promoting small and medium enterprises and encouraging foreign investment.

After his tenure as Governor, Obi has remained active in Nigerian politics and has been a vocal advocate for good governance and accountability. He has also been involved in various philanthropic activities, particularly in the area of education.

In 2019, Obi was the Vice Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Nigerian general election, which the party ultimately lost to the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC).

Seeing how he radiates hope, and expresses no politics of bitterness, I hereby endorse His Excellence Mr. Peter Gregory Obi for president!

A New Nigeria is POssible!

Wike is not influential in SE. Even his influence in Rivers State is limited. No single person Chiefs, Eze, or Governor is influential in South East (maybe Mazi Kanu is at all). The people are.

The people of SE know what is right and who to vote for. They will do so without let or hinderance.
