yea,I know but it still has negative effect to the environment. Gej is still has has at least, one month in office, he can implement the confab policies before he hands over
Hmmn, which environment? That one that has been like that for donkey years? GEJ can't implement anything in one month, too late!

Unfortunately, violence and destruction is one language that resonate well with Nigeria, a fact that the likes of Asari and co are very much aware of; a great and unfortunate fact!

People of the SE and Niger delta, don't allow 1diots like asari turn your homes to gwoza, and bama. Next election is 4yrs away, it will take the NE more than 20yrs to recover.

Asari, instead of going back to the creeks, my advice to you is to push for full resource and true federalism.let's every region manage their resources.Shun violence, let's not be like the northerners who takes pride in killing innocent people. You won't like your region to be like borno or yobe state
Push, how? Like Ken Saro Wiwa?

Beside, sabotage is not same as terrorism; even you 'kid can sabotage pipelines!

jonathan shoukd do us a favour and throw this guy into the gallows, his words are inciting violence,Mr DOKUBO I will call you that because you dont deserve to be called an alhaji, what you just said is an insult to millions of Yorubas that voted for GEJ,GEJ got nothing less than 45% from them, you cant call that a betrayal or hatred towards GEJ,The people vote for issues not personalities, religion or ethnic sentiment.

btw you can drink your oil,Nigerians will still survive.
Jonathan again?

If he does that, what job will Buhari be doing if and when he's sworn in? Is he not the hard man?

My brother, I doubt if there's any senator or rep from APC in the East. Nigeria is winner take all. Let's just watch and see how it plays out.
There is none! We rejected APC totally, and proudly! But let's watch how they can possibly take all the oil!

You see this is the problem.....this politics of entitlement. What has Hope Uzodinma contributed to the success of APC to now demand to benefit from their political spoils....?

In politics.....you don't demand for position using emotion as a blackmail tool. If you so much had wanted a share.......you shouldn't have dropped all the eggs in a basket.

The Igbo nation will not crumble if they have strategically returned Ngige....and i swear no one..not even Tinubu would have been in a position to deny Ngige that position.
Politicians use every tool in the trade to seek advantage, including terrorism, militancy and assassinations; emotional blackmail as you call it is just one of the tools. You perhaps have more to learn, politically!

Ndigbo rejected Ngige! END OF! Given another opportunity, we'll vote the way we did.

Now whether SE get the Senate position or not is immaterial. What are watching now is how the "winner takes all" agenda will be implemented by APC.

I can see you're still in pain. If not, you should by now desist from using the bold to describe Buhari.
How does describing someone the way he looks indicate pain?

Buhari is old and frail looking - fact!
And he hasn't presented his certificate - fact!

Being president doesn't not diminish facts! So he's an old, frail looking, semi-illiterate!

First of all, how do you want the dissident APC candidate to react knowing that the person that defeated him went ahead to be senate president?

Secondly, among all the Igbo senators, list someone that has the credentials to hold that position.
Senator Hope Uzodinma!

APC chairman in not Political position.
Edos most be rewarded with the Senate or Speaker.
The only Southern state(apart from SW) that gave APC 25%.

If APC is dead in Igboland why you want APC senators to vote for an IGBO PDP?

If Igbos want Senate president, they should decamp to APC.
Does decamping make one a better politician?

I doubt if the party in the majority will want to elect a senator from a minority party as their President.....it will be awkward to invite him when they are discussing strategy at party caucus.
I have my doubts too.

But it will be more awkward to have a government without representative from one of the largest Ethnic groups in the country, sitting astride it main economic resources, because of party politics! Not only awkward, but also intrinsically dangerous!
PoliticsRe: Next Senate President by PointB: 1:39pm On Apr 01, 2015
For the next Senate President I recommend Hope Uzodinma (Imo, PDP)

Forget party affiliation, what the country need is unity and peace for progress!

You're brain-dead. Tambuwal didn't become Speaker six months ago. He only defected from PDP, under whose platform he became Speaker, to APC some months. Ndigbo put all their eggs in one basket. You can't have you cake and eat it. Yoruba's pattern of voting was such that if Jonathan had won and the PDP got majority in the House of Representatives, the South West would have the Speakership zoned to their region.
[/s]

You lack comprehension.

OrlandoOwoh:
As it stands, if the position is zoned to the South West, I suggest it goes to Robert Boroffice from Ondo State. I doubt, since Olorunimbe Mamora, Ganiyu S. Olanrewaju, Femi Ojodu, etc who have experience are not going back, it would be given to Remi Tinubu who doesn't make any contribution.
It can also be given to Babajide Omowoarare from Ife/Ijesh in Osun State. Though he got there in 2011 and won re-election, he was once a legislator in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Rubbish post!

Good for you.

A first time Senator cannot even become a committee chair.....not to talk of a Principal officer.
Well Senator Hope Uzodinma is not a first time Senator. He has enough experience to lead the Senate in this period when the central focus should be unity and progress!

I hope this is an opinion of a minority in Igboland.

If you keep playing this bad and hate filled politics of throwing your brightest politicians under the bus simply because they are in a 'wrong party' in your opinion........you will keep holding the short end of the stick in Nigeria politics.
There are a lot of bright people in Igboland! Ngige, apparently wasn't the brightest! Deal with it!!
PoliticsRe: War In APC Over Oluremi Tinubu For Senate President by PointB: 1:17pm On Apr 01, 2015
OrlandoOwoh:
You have no point. The case of Tambuwal is different from the picture you are painting here. Tambuwal was a member of PDP which had majority. The emergence of Tambuwal was only challeged because the position of Speaker was zoned to the South West, not North East where he is from.
You must have been asleep for the past six months. Wake up!!

A Senate president will emerge!

And if it's not from the south east, there's absolutely NOTHING you can do about it. After all you caused it for yourselves.

Fact!

So take your pain and shove it where the sun don't shine.
Who said we are going to do anything about it? In anycase, not doing anything about it is even more dangerous. A silent man is more dangerous that the one who talks plenty.

May you not know any peace for this stoopid lie told against people other than yourself

Parties always wait for whoever that emerges as the President and VP before slating other positions to zones outside of those of the President and VP

For this reason,you are a charlatan and a no-do-gooder
Why are you APC always like this? Why curse the man for posting a comment? Did you curse liar mohammed and his band of liars when the were reeling out lies upon lies run-up to the election? Why can't you people be accommodating?

You said parties wait for who emerges President and vice before 'slating' other position, haven't we pass that stage? Abeg, if you don't have anything to add, just buzz off and stop cursing like a tout!

When I say 'best man'....it was meant to be subjective.

In parliamentary business in Nigeria today.....Ngige rank high...far more above anyone from Anamabra and definitely above a first timer Senator Uche Okwunife that will be taken his place.

I see no reason why they dropped Ngige if not for the politics of hatred for APC....and not necessarily for Ngige as a man...he could have even been returned if he was contesting on just any other political party and not APC.
Ok, in other words, Ngige is not a good politician. He was unable to read the pulse of his people and was swept away. Such naive man is not fit to lead the Anambra people. End of story!

I don't know if a parliamentary rule that first-time Senator cannot be Senate President. If it is, am afraid such useless rule should be changed, as I see now merit to it if the first time senator is of exceptional quality!

An Igbo man in PDP cannot be our senate president. Simple!
That's is the head ache for you APC people to worry.

As for us we have rejected APC, it's only Rochas in APC that's linking us with APC. Hopefully, we can eject by April and Igboland will be free from APC malaise, and we can have time and space to think clearly without saboteurs and act without inhibition!

Do you think Rochas and Amaechi will give a damn about the igbos considering the kind of opposition they got from there? No way. In Nigeria, it is the winner takes all when it comes to president-vice-senate p- speaker.

Since igbos rejected APC, then they are on their own. We now know we can win elections without them. Bunch of opportunists.
Winner takes all is fair enough if you guys can live with the consequence. I'm assuming you can't hence this proposal. And I make it, apologetically (I no dey beg)!
