ilugunboy: The option of an Igbo Senate leader is foreclosed....
There is a limit to which you play bad and self destructive politics with your best men....like it was done to Ngige in Anambra. If Ngige won the people support he would have won. Even as I disagree with the insinuation that he was the 'best man', best men do always win election, otherwise the unlettered bigot Buhari wouldn't have been president in a country of highly educated and intelligent people. So please forget that best man tales! Beside best men don't make deals in Okija Shrine! |

MzJackBaueress: . Tambuwal was a PDP man as a speaker but defected at the dying minute and still remained speaker. You cannot compare the time he was in PDP to the time he was in APC as speaker. If he had defected in his early years as speaker,he would have been impeached. There is no way a minority will become either the senate or speaker. That's the fact! So as an APC minority he was allowed to remain Speaker in a PDP majority house? True or false? |
Politics › Re: War In APC Over Oluremi Tinubu For Senate President by PointB: 12:54pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
tollu: This sounds false.
APC excos are not lunatics and would never try that so let's not waste our time arguing back and forth.
I'd like a senate president from the SE too. Perhaps a sensible one currently in the PDP can be persuaded to decamp.
No PDP nonsense senate president though. They have done enough. Why must he decamp if he's sensible? Does staying in PDP undermine his intelligence or his people's support? |

Politics › Re: War In APC Over Oluremi Tinubu For Senate President by PointB: 12:45pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
MzJackBaueress: I disagree with you. There is no way an Igbo PDP senator will produce the senate president. An igbo man was neither the senate president nor speaker in Jonathan's administration even when PDP was the majority. The only option for an Igbo senate president is for some senators from SE to decamp to APC. That might not even be possible too. How about Tambuwal who decamped as Speaker to APC? Was he not a Speaker then from Minority party? Is that not a precedence? |

No Igbo PDP senator is getting anything from the APC house. Edo right? Even when APC Party chairman is Edo? I laff in Japanese! Like I said, it's APC and Buhari's headache, let me see how you clowns handle this landmine! |

Never will an ihbo man be there. Never never never My friend sharrap. This is 2015, you think we'll close our eyes and watch you people continue to plunder our oil for your benefit? If you lots know what's good for you, you'll understand that winner takes all is simply a recipe for disaster. We proudly support GEJ, and given the chance, we'll do it again! Now if you think Igbos should be punished for their principled stand, you have another think coming... |

TCD: God forbid bad thing. Tufiakwa. A PDP SENATOR become senate president in a house controlled by APC.
The south east should have voted for change yet they stuck to voting PDP idiots like T.A orji who have nothing to offer. It's their loss if they don't have an APC senator. It will go to the next available region. You want to do winner take all? We'll see about that. Is T.A Orji the only PDP Senator bound for the NA? Beside if Lagos can queue up behind a big thief such as Tinubu, why should you point finger at Orji? All am rooting for is Igbo Senator, we shall make it happen, even if the guy is in PDP! |

That's how I see it. Senate leadership should go to SE even if the beneficiary is from PDP. As it was done for Tambuwal from NW, should it it be for SE. I am sure Berem and Egift and co will agree to this. |

How unemployment market? Like I noted earlier, you vocabulary skill set is very limited. Spend some time improving your range of English words; read books, dictionary, journals, whatever. My people say "after the race you count the miles." I think those who celebrate electoral victory as 'change' are misguided. The real change comes from the policies and their implementation, not from the euphoria of potentially Pyrrhic victory.

Politics › Re: Next Senate President by PointB: 11:11am On Apr 01, 2015 |
ignis: Nice one... We made a silly mistake. Had it been we voted Ngige , he would have been the most likely next senate president.
Now an igbo man can neither be the senate president nor speaker. Hence not represented in the first 4 citizens. How long has Ngige been in the National Assembly? What did he achieve for Anambra, Ndigbo, or Nigeria? We made no mistake, we were resolute and principled in our commitment! There is nothing to worry about; those who need to worry about Ndigbo is the particular some ethnic group whose stock in trade is to talk about Ndigbo! We worry or fear not! |

SE did not vote in any APC leader, so what?
Why are some of you clowns taking panadol for another man supposed head-ache!
Which political power did SW hold in the present administration, and did they die?
What's all these hullabaloo about?
SE has held the Senate leadership severally in the past, to what end?
What did David Mark achieve for Benue with that possible in the several years he held? If he did, why did PDP lose the election in Benue? Alot of people have suddenly turn masters in SE affairs, even when they know next to nothing about what they are talking about.
We have rejected APC totally in SE, hopefully Rochas will lose his re-election bid to PDP/APGA to complete the process. |

anonimi: IF Buhari wins, it will be because
- he was seriously well packaged by the oyinbo people of AKPD Media - PDP ran an uncoordinated campaign that did not focus on the BETTER by far performance record of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in five years as civilian president compared to that of Buhari's two years as MAXIMUM military ruler. - inadequate mobilisation of voters in Jonathan's core support areas of SS and SE.
among other factors.
We will be here IF he is sworn in to point out as the DECEPTION unravels itself the way it did with the JagbaJantis of Bourdillon in Lagos state after 2003. I agree with you on all three reason why GEJ lost, especially on the last one! As for Buhari, the unlettered bigot, God willing we be here to unmask him for the wolf in sheep's clothing that he is! |

(4) Divide Nigeria back into Eastern Region, Northern Region, Western Region and Mid-Western with full federalism (5) Appoint military administrators to manage all the regions. Shekina! What about you? What will you do if you were to be Goodluck Jonathan?? He doesn't have such power or clout! |

GEJ has lost the election, It's over, it has been a really tough battle, It was fun while it lasted; the insults, , The teasing and the bashing, I personally enjoyed every bit of it. For those of you saying "SeverusSnape will soon deactivate", No way!.... I ain't deactivating, once a nairalander, always a Nairalander. To all GEJ supporters, I urge you all to support the new government of Buhari and contribute your own quota to the development of this great nation. Jonathan has tried his best, let him just leave the rest.
That's all I have to say for now.
