Ur point doesn't really count

If u want to talk of struggles
Talk about Trikytee and Lucy

It's not as though Laycon is suffering
He just came to promote his music and bbn is the platform

Strughle, they didnt show they were struggling, even if they were struggling, most people cant relate with them.

It's obvious laycon don win this year big brother

Nigerians like poverty and dejected one stories just like Efe

Please next year big brother

They should put people like laycon in the house

9 laycon types

And probably one ozo or kidwaya type

I want to check something

Not true.

If you watch a movie, it is will be more interesting if it relates with you.

Laycon is the hope of the average Nigerian, he is the movie that interest the average Nigerian struggle

The main reason most people love laycon is because he iis the average Nigerian.

The rest house mate are all forming something i dont know.

Laycon is the street, the average man and woman from the streets.

People can relate to his struggles and stories.

Most Nigerian cant relate with kidd, nnegi or erica, ozo and the rest, there is nothing unique or about them, they are just your Nigerians that want to form posh.

As for laycon most people relate to everything about him.

The street is the average Nigeria, the street is most Nigerian born into a struggling home, hustling to make it in life, most Nigerians can relate with that.

Lol...okay nau. Imagine album that I and a lot of people I know listen to everyday...album that gets better the more you listen to it...album that most of the songs have an actual message behind them...and you can still vibe to the music on top...some people will come online and start saying it’s trash, if you ask them to say one line of any song now, they don’t know a single one.
This is all hate tbh. One inconsequential here said “stupidly worded lyrics” that her gateman can sing better. But when another person releases song that is just one word on repeat or baby do this, baby do that, they have no problem with it.
Anyone who hates Burna should be straightforward about. Nigerians can’t do without hate, I understand...but attacking his music is just premium stupidity.

you are a fan of his music does not mean everyone is a fan no matter the message behind the song

The album is not targeted to the Nigerian market, i listened to one song from the album, monster you made, Nigerians wont feel the song

Present day Nigerians listeners are not used to that type of sound, so its gonna be boring for them.

Music is business not emotions to the executive who want to make money after investment.

Nigerians are the dancing and vibrating types, that is why rnb and other genres of music dont get big here, present day music lovers want something they can dance to not some political songs. as long that the beats is dancable and the lyrics are catchy, people will dance to the song and it will be everywhere.

The song was produced outside nigeria, how many american producers understand nigeria or africa taste...none only african producers under their markets.

The album might do well abroad but in Nigeria NO

DrayZee:

You say the album is a flop in Nigeria. See below. That list is updated everyday and Burnaboy has always been on top of it since the album came out.

It’s like you think the value of music is on how many people are making noise about it. A whole lot of people listen to it. That they’re not making noise everywhere doesn’t mean they’re not listening.

Apple music isnt the standard, the radio and tv music stations are.

How many people know about apple music in Nigeria

Let me just tell you one secret, you see all those ranking, they are all fake and done by the record labels, they upload and also buy the songs for it to rank.

Strategic collaborations

strategic collaboration is nothing, he is not the first to do similar stuff. Many people have done this strategic collab and failed

This album might be a good out side Nigeria but in Nigeria, it is a flop

also note that strategic collab is nothing in the music industry, it is only something if music executives decides to push your music and focus on only you.
everything in the music industry is planned, nothing happens by chance.

If something works, it works.

If it makes money, even if old then it works.

Many attempts have been made to compete with nairaland with their new designs all of them failed .

What is funny that people that can not afford to buy data are the one complaining about redesigning nairaland.

Most people dont understand, the more heavy design, the more data you consume.

Let those i too know on Twitter continue ranting.

Nairaland is simple and mobile friendly for every damn phone.

It is the common man source of news and entertainment, a common man source for sense of community.

Instead of complaining, most of you guys are the cause of the problem.

I have watch hundreds of Nigerian skit on poiunt.com and i can tell you that most skits are about a woman ass and money.

Is that not projection...most women watching those skit will think that is how real life works.

I gave u facts with proof, but you are here talking about no business minded person will do what exactly, of course you are referring to struggling ones. What's the correlation between struggling business people and a multi billion naira business, who knows how to get people to vote with their hard earn money.

You are the one that needs the class...... What you wrote is totally baseless with no premise, neither proof.

you gave mean facts with proof, what proof, i guess proofs you assumed to be real.

So a multi billionaire business will waste time organizing voters for a show...believe me, you dont know what you are writing

Oga there is no need to go to Google and browser all that for me. This is a proof people actually spend money to vote.

Economic crises or health situation doesn't change the fact that demand curve can shift due to various factors ie income, luxury and alot more..... When you talk about no business minded person obviously you are talking about the struggling ones who are trying to survive with the harsh situations of the country.

Even in this so called crisis people are still earning the same salary they where earning, the only difference is they are more conscious of the health situation ie Covid 19- washing of hands n wearing mask.

If you are talking about classes of people in the country, then I will understand.... We have the rich, medium class and poor...... Let me tell u, even without the outbreak of Covid19 some certain set of people where still leaving below standard.

Money talks bullshit works......... People still buy expensive phones, cars etc during this economic meltdown, some people take this BBN thing personal..... They investment alot in it.

Let me shock you, people even money from campaigning for some contestant..... Do you know people go as far as making t-shirs, that has the face of their fave just to campaign for them, am not even talking about billboard.... Do you know how much it cost to put up a billboards for the fave..... And you are talking about 100k for vote.

I know alot of people who work with reputable organizationz, they still pay them their salary on time, the only thing that has change is profit sharing which we all know is due to the Economics crisis, but that hasn't still changed anything.

So when I said is ur reality not economic reality I know what I was saying.

On my narration being factual, I don't force my ideologies on anyone, I most often say believe it or not......because at the end of the day we only believe what we want to believe.

Just thinking can we open a thread for both of us and iron it out.... We could learn on or two........ I feel we are distracting the essence of this thread.

I belive you think i have to go to google to write simple logic down.

You need to go back to economic reality class instead of writing assumptions down.

I write this, no business minded person, struggling or not will invest in a project without returns.

You call it heresay, but want me to believe your ideologies.

What are economic realities in what u wrote sir or ma grin cheesy grin grin cheesy,

Your write up is only based on ur reality not even economic reality.

No need for this then.

I think we have come to conclusion.

We should also come to the conclusions that your coments arent factual.

I have already written the economic reality and that is people spend less during economic or health crisis, that is a proven statement all over the world.

Also no business minded person will set up a voting center for people to vote on a contestant except the person has a stake on a contestant.

For every business investment there must be a return higher than the investment.

Nigerians prefer to vote for free than waste their 30 naira on a contestant, nigerians are known for gaming the system.

These are proven realities here in Nigeria.

Even kiddwayas private jet story is a lie. The cost of renting a private jet is not $8000 maybe he has been on one before or he knows someone who did it.

The cost of renting a private jet in Nigeria is between a negotiable range of $3000-$6000. For someone who posts up pictures of his lifestyle on social media that rented a private jet just for bbnaija but couldnt take one picture of it.

Guy think am. Someone that took a picture of their Versace mansion that released pics of him and cuppy of him and Anthony Joshua and Wizkid. But him in one private jet that he says he rents as a normal thing is nowhere to be found think am

You ain't stating any fact, this is pure regugitation. Go back and read it.

People spend so much money to vote, 100k is small, how do they now make their money aside from endorsement and subscriptions.

Just say you only vote online vote..... People even have centers in different state where the go and vote with alot of sims..... People even contribute money for voting for those busy..... And oh they are not clients but fans.

I see why there are many bandwagoners in many fanbases, people just make noise up and down with 200 online vote.... Thinking they have done alot....... What a shame.

you believe what you wrote is fact because you cooked up numbers while my comments arent fact but repetitions

i do not want to go back and forth with you but you keep writing like you wrote anything factual in your write ups other writing down assumptions which are not based on economic reality.

people spend so much, people have centers in different states where people go and vote with a lot of sims, people contribute money bla bla, this are just heresays and they are not facts, no proof just assumptions.

No need for this back and forth situation, I didnt even read everything, is like u are repeating same thing.

How will u tell me voting is basically free, just because of online free votes, people spend 100k and more on vote incase u don't know. Others give both online and sms vote, yes it's 30 naira, 30X1000 votes is how much, whether it's 2k or 5k people spend weekly on votes, it's still money.

As for Kidd, let's watch and see.

i am not repeating rather giving facts

The voters are the lovers of the shows and many of them vote free of charge

as for those spending 100k to vote those are talent managers spending on their respective clients

No ordinary nigerian will waste 3k on an housemate when voting is free online.
