kponkedenge: I have no issues with Tinubu but I just feel he doesn't have the strength to rule a complex country like Nigeria..... He will just be another Buhari in the making, only that he will be a Southerner.
Why can't we go for younger and experienced hands.... For Christ's sake, we have a lot of competent hands, why go for the same establishment that has brought the country to its knees.
I for one would like a new party to emerge and bring someone new that can run, majorly using social media the same way it was used during the end SARS campaign.... It may be difficult to win, but not impossible if properly run well. This new party, where will they source for members? Ghana or Togo, cos almost top nigerians r either in Apc, pdp,sdp or apga. |

ValCon888: It is no longer surprising the rate at which articulated vehicles fail brake and lose control at the cost of human lives.
These are needless deaths that can be prevented with the right policy/regulations. Most of these trucks on our roads have outlived their lifespan, with many of them manufactured during World War 2.
The FRSC alongside other relevant agencies need to come up with a framework to phase out these "death traps on wheels" by ensuring only trucks with a maximum of 10yrs can ply our roads. The drivers also need proper training, background checks, and tracking to ensure more accountability and safer driving .
Until this is done, tragic accidents like this will continue ad infinitum. Whether u have vehicles that r less than 10yrs, if u don't do the necessary maintenance on that vehicle, there must be problem. Will a brakepad last for 10yrs even if that vehicle goes on a dailytrip to far distance? What frsc need to do is check maintenance activities of all these articulated vehicles... Nigerians r poor in maintenance culture, we love managing things till it collapses. |

Akwamkpuruamu: Is it now better for Abuja to squander it? The problem of the south is the southerners. They don't want restructuring or state police so that their governors won't abuse it. But they r happy northerners r abusing their own hisbah and abusing the constitution that favours them. Na we be our problem. The day the south realise that they r the economic power of this country, that day northern Nigeria will have sense. |

Praxis758: This is an answered prayer for restructuring.
I see Nigerians and state governments resorting to the judiciary/court to codedly achieving the age-long demands for restructing.
Sincerely, the FG has no moral right to be collecting VAT. I wish other state governors use to court judgement to bar the FIRS from stealing taxes meant for them.
It means more money to the states, but we have thieves and wasters as governors who squander the funds Its better for our state governors to squander the money than make some aboki squander am. |

How would Abuja be collecting VAT and Personal income tax from states...
The high court in Rivers is right.. You see the fundamental problem here is the 1999 constitution.. All these injustices has got to stop !!
Nonsense And u will see some foolish southerners saying what we need is restructuring our mindset.. Imagine how some people are.. The constitution is the issue in this country.. No matter how u bring good people to manage the affairs of the country, the constitution won't allow. |

https://www.syracuse.com/news/2011/08/nigerian_man_extradited_to_uni.html
He was never tried in Nigeria but was handed over by EFCC to the US to face trial. U r making reference to Emmanuel Ekhator in this kind of issue... Is Emmanuel a first class citizen? A country with 2 sets of laws, one for the North and the other for the south. A country that treats its citizens unequally.... Bros u r in Nigeria, u should by now know how things work here |

Sanchez01: I hate to do this but if reverse was the case, with that of Chidinma and the degenerate who killed a guy and bolted with his Mercedes, and this, pseudo-feminists mostly on Twitter and Club House would have been ranting about how women are becoming endangered and probably petition the UN to force Buhari into allowing them to carry arms for defence purposes.
Unfortunately, there is graveyard silence and most are working round the clock to prove how Chidinma didn't kill Ataga. It is high time we toughened our stance on murder and homicide. Anyone guilty should be put to death by the law but in a gruesome way. These deaths are forming a pattern already! How many arms they wan carry... The pussy alone is a dangerous weapon.
