It took fed govt more than 4yrs to even approve the development of the seaport. This was done exclusively from the pocket of akwaibom state. The entire capital flight expended from siteseeing, to evaluation and every other components the state took care of the finances. So what role did buhari admin played exactly?

The writer of this article is trying to help ignorant peeps like u to know why the agberos control lagos state, and why there is always Blood shed from their activities.
The state govt should remove this power revenue collection via land transport in lagos from nurtw.

Analysis like this would make a lot of sense if it was done all over the country or at least in some selected states so that we can do a comparative analysis. So, why single out Lagos state?

Btw, NURTW is a trade Union. Trade Unions and professional bodies charge their members huge sums annually. As a member of ICAN, I pay 30k to the institute as annual subscription. I still pay for conference, AGM and faculty due without complaining. So, are members of NURTW complaining? Who forced them to be members of the union?

These states u mentioned don't pay to agberos, they is well structured mechanisms put in place..like in akwaibom, there is road tax, tricycle buy 150naira tickets Daily except on Saturdays and sundays and on public holidays.
Though there r some loading bays that agberos control.. Once u park there and load, u must pay 20naira if u carry 3passengers if its keke, and 50naira if its keke bus.
Police do have share in all these loadimg bays...

If u have money i will advice u to pay the 5k so u can start using the metre. Where we r staying in ph, though light is almost steady like 18to 22 hrs daily on a good day, bills are crazy. Last month bill was 26k, this month 57k.. Na just single room we dey occupy o.
Just pay the 5k, pay for units, find electrician that can reconfigure the meter for u. U r good to go. After the reconfigure, make sure every month u dey buy atleast 2k worth of unit if na 2bdroom flat. If na self contained, 1k units.

We were given prepaid meter, we had to pay money before allocation, part of the "debt". My brother working with them help negotiate amount down to 20k!
When we wanted to recharge, we had to pay 17k (part of the debt again) before buying energy credit.
Then, we will be certain amount every month before buying energy credit (the same debt installment payments). I didn't support privatisation of power sector because I knew at the time that rip off would later be the song on lips of everyone.

Privatization was the best thing, the problem is the senate and house of reps are not doing their oversight on these discos..
Phcn or nepa was runned like the way nnpc is being runned.
Nigeria was losing yet still monies were budgeted for it yearly from other sectors.
